The coffee’s great, and the staff are professional, courteous, and friendly. Highly recommended.

From the outside this looked like an ordinary coffee shop, but then we stepped in. The décor was really good. Like the rustic feel, It was nice.

Love this place. I really like the seating, the Internet is great, plenty of outlets. I enjoy their drip and cold coffee. I’d give it 5 stars but there were too many flies!

I have my favorite coffee places in the neighborhood, but decided to expand my horizons and try out Drip City a couple weeks ago. The ambiance itself is very industrial, seems like it’d be a great place to work from(lots of seating, seemed pretty quiet overall). I wasn’t a fan of the coffee, it tasted more on the acidic/burnt side to me. There are so many other good coffee spots in the area that it’s hard to justify coming to this one, unfortunately.

Ordered an iced coffee and it tasted very good. That alone wouldn’t warrant me giving a five stars review, however the customer service representative was shockingly handsome and funny. He addressed me as «hey homie» and I said«hey how’s it going» and he says«my mother just died.» I paused for a moment and said, «oh I’m very sorry to hear that» and he says«you should be sorry.» I looked at the other worker and he said«oh he’s just joking don’t listen to him.» I quickly ordered my drink and didn’t say anything else, but he always said thank you and have a great day, after he went to the back and started chatting with the other workers there. Advice to management: keep the blonde slick and keep producing a decent cup of black coffee.

Wow. This is a coffee shop if I’ve ever been to one. Best dopio I’ve ever. You like coffee? Come here. You like beer? Come here. You have a dog you want to bring along? Come here. My barista was so very kind, a very good looking young lady. I’m at drip city probably 20 hours a week because I love it so much.

I come here all the time to get work done. The atmosphere is comfortable, the wifi is exceptional, and there’s plenty of outlets to plug in my laptop. I love the music choice, and the baristas are a pleasure to do business with. Maybe it’s because this place is on the direct walking path between the Space Needle and Pike Place Market and tourists think that coffee == Starbucks, but the beans Drip City uses are OUTRAGEOUSLY dark. Lattes are cool and cappuccinos are authentic Italian style, but I can only make it through about ¾ of a black coffee before I need to call it quits and quietly throw the remainder of my drink out on the way home. I haven’t chanced straight espresso yet because, again, I come here to sit down and use the wifi for a couple hours and because the setting is really easy to focus in. I give Drip City five stars because I love the ownership and wouldn’t do them the disservice of four stars just because I don’t like their coffee philosophy. For lovers of dark roasts, this is the place to be. If you like your coffee lighter, stick to tea when you come here but still show up and leave a good tip because the people that work here are simply dandy.

This is my go-to coffeeshop — HANDSDOWN. Great place to get work done(plenty of space, outlets, etc.), upbeat atmosphere, and friendly staff. My favorites are Alex, Andrew, and Mark! By the way, the coffee is super yummy.

Excellent chai! $ 3.25 Modern and comfy feel, here for an acoustic set. Great music! My friend is picky about her coffee and got a soy latte and said she loved it!

Independent little coffee shop in the land of starbucks, Drip City is located toward the north-west end of belltown. I’d heard good things of this place, so went there for coffee with a friend who lives right across from it. The shop is reasonably sized, and has a good amount of seating options unlike some other places around it. There are plenty of couches and tables to sit at, and also a few patio tables and chairs outside if you want to sit out in the sun. It is also located only a block from the sculpture park, so you can get a coffee here and walk around the park. The atmosphere is relaxed and appealing. This place is sparsely decorated, and not at all hipster, but more modern. The coffee is pretty good, much better than starbucks, but stops just short of outstanding. We got a latte and cappuccino, and both were very good. I asked for mine to be extra hot, and they did make it just as I like it. However, there was too much foam in the mug, which I did not enjoy. We also got a bagel and a croissant, which were excellent as well. They also have sandwiches and salads, but we didn’t get any of those. The service was fast and friendly. There were only two people working and there was a bit of rush, but they got everything done efficiently. I asked for our drinks in ceramic mugs for since we were sitting in, and they had some funky mugs which was nice. I enjoyed the place and coffee, and will be back again. I definitely recommend this if you want a good place to relax and chat with friends, but don’t want to go to the hipster spots.

Wow, this might be the first time I’ve had a BAD cup of coffee in Seattle. I ordered a cappuccino and the coffee had that burnt coffee taste, the milk foam was off as well. Service was also pretty bizarre, I was left at the counter for a bit until dude literally strolled in from outside to help me.

Their coffee is pretty good. I went here once and my experience was good. They open pretty late! It’s spacious. Chill environment. Very laid back atmosphere. Comfy couches and people watching tv there. Good place to catch up with folks. Super casual.

Ordered an iced coffee around 2PM on a Wednesday afternoon and it had a burnt taste to it. It tasted like it had been sitting around all day, not fresh, not appetizing. It was like, Starbucks’ burnt taste but even stronger. Also ordered a latte which was alright, nothing too special. The place had a nice ambiance, it was very cozy and quiet but not sure how I felt about the coffee.

3.5 Pros: Good location, covered outside seating on rainy days, friendly service, good cookies, great indoor ambiance Cons: The coffee just wasn’t that good. Somewhat burnt flavor, kind of like Starbucks. It also took a looooong time to make a latte which I thought was odd considering there weren’t other folks in line. Overall, not bad but not fantastic.

This place isn’t a exposed brick/industrial coffee house like all of the other Seattle coffee places, so props for that. They have cozy armchairs, TVs, and you can bring your dog! I wish the coffee quality matched the interior quality. I had a straight espresso which was full but burnt and drip coffee which was very bland. Despite the cool atmosphere I doubt I’ll be back.

Drip City Coffee Co. is located a few blocks away from Pikes Place. I was heading back towards the Seattle Center when I found this place on Unilocal.I’m sure glad it popped up since I would have turned the street before and I would have never found this place. I got here on a Monday around 3pm. It was pretty empty at the time with only a few people inside. They have plenty of seating and tables which makes it a perfect place to do work or study. The staff here was also excellent and they made the experience even better. I tried a latte and the sea salt caramel latte. I thought the latte was nice and strong, but pretty bitter. The sea salt caramel on the other hand was pretty delicious. It was a tad bit sweet for my liking, but I thought it was one of the better sea salt caramel lattes that I can remember. I also really liked the T-shirts and long sleeve shirts that they sold. The regular shirts are $ 17 while the long sleeve shirts are $ 27. I really wanted to get the baseball long sleeve, but $ 27 is a little steep for me. The barista told me that if you purchase a shirt you get a free drink and also you get to enter the raffle in which they will raffle off different prizes such as free drinks or pastries on up to tickets to a Seahawks game. Overall, I really enjoyed relaxing here for an hour or so. I would definitely stop by again the next time I’m in Seattle!

Popped in on my way to work this morning. The guys behind the counter were super nice and helpful. Had a little chat with the barista and asked what was good. I decided to get a shot in the dark and I’m super happy with it! Also VERY reasonably priced. Just over $ 2 for a 12oz. Definitely a great coffee spot.

Got the Drip coffee; not going to go into detail of what I tasted because I’m sure it will be different than how someone else tastes… so I’ll just compare it to a regular medium roast at starbucks. My drip was less acidic, smoother, and had a very nice flavor to it. Didn’t make my mouth tasting like I licked a rust pipe. Very cool and relaxing environment with extremely friendly people. Def a great place to chill and read a book.
