A sweet adorable Korean lady made me a kickass burger. I was impressed. Also five stars for the extremely friendly service! Such considerate employees, clean shop, and a good variety of food and living essentials.

Super convenient, quiet café to grab some necessities in a pinch. Friendly owner. Free wifi + power outlets located to the left of the entrance, open til 10pm. Paninis are tasty and not too heavy — try the golden chicken club classic, which is made with veggies. Lattes are decent.

Cute place. Everyone who works there is super nice. It is your standard work lunch, but fast and friendly. They deliver for free which is fantastic. I’m a fan of their hot sandwiches. Don’t forget to get a frequent sandwich buyer punch card!

Friendly stuff, good selection of food for a coffee shop. I am a big fan of their blueberry pancake. I used to just wake up and crave eating it. This place has TV, comfortable couch and setting area… and WiFi

Delicious sandwiches, clean, well-stocked. And they are the nicest people ever! Also, they are very dog-friendly.

This place is under new ownership and has been completely ruined. Not only did they promise to keep the same menu and then turn around and butcher it but they also got rid of all the friendly people who worked there and replaced them with dull know-nothings. This place used to be my weekly escape. It was literally the only place edible in Belltown for lunch during the week — now there is nothing. They replaced the good meats with cheaper cuts, the amazing aioli and spicy mustards with cheap condiments. I can’t say enough about how disappointing this place is now. I’d love to tell you to steer clear but there really isn’t much else to eat around here. If anyone finds out what happened to the sweet asians who used to run this place, let me know. I would follow them anywhere in the city if they have a new spot. They knew how to treat customers and made amazing food.

It’s easy to get to and very clean and fresh. This new little market is easy for me to walk to. They have a clean organized layout. They always get me with the ice-cream display.

Not open at 6:20am…I went and the doors were locked, lights were off. Good luck grabbing breakfast before 7am in belltown…

Super friendly staff — they always give my pup treats, so extra credit for that :) I love that they have more then one veggie sandwich option — rare to find, especially for such a small venue — I think there are four. Also, the drip coffee is good and they have a reasonable wine selection, which is nice for a corner market. The only thing I’d really like to see them do better is increasing the amount of produce — maybe just adding a couple of basic items in the fridge, so if needed, this could be a one-stop-shop for dinner in a pinch.

High ratings for very friendly service and a pretty good cross-section of items. Located right in my building, so also very convenient. The owner Skye really goes out of his way to be neighborly and helpful. He didn’t carry the soy milk we prefer, so we asked and he does now! Sandwiches are very tasty. And, if you need lunch to go, your lunch can be ready first thing in the morning, on time, and as ordered. If you bring in your dog, she’ll get a cookie, too.

I am so lucky this place is so close– it really is the cleanest. nicest convenience store in Belltown. I come here pretty often and once mentioned my favorite wine to the owner(Working Girl White from Olympic Cellars over in Sequim.) He ordered it the next time the distruibutor came around! I also really like the deli sandwiches although I only order one thing and I customize it like crazy and the owner always tries to get it right so here it is: The Italian Garden Veggie Kelly-style: Rustic Italian Bread Sundried Tomato Pesto Cream Cheese Fresh Red and Green Peppers Olives Cucumber Lettuce, Tomato, Onion Roasted Red Peppers

I don’t know if this place is in a transition or what. Yes the Korean guy was really nice and always asks me if I have any suggestions for them. They used to have a really cool barista. She makes a leaf pattern on my mocha in the morning. Even after I told her that don’t bother, I’ll just drink it away, she still insists make me a leaf. It made me feel so great in the morning. That was the reason I went there instead of starbucks. The guy with glasses always have the coolest music playing in the store. That kind of things sets the tone of a store. Now, they only have 1 girl running the store in the morning. She is always in a rush even though I was the only customer at the moment. She will make my drink so fast, stir in a hurry and take the breakfast sandwich out of the grill that the cheese wasn’t even melted… I can tolerate that but compare to what they had before. I just don’t go there anymore.

I literally just visited Belltown Café & Market, located in the Gallery condo bldg. It’s a welcome change from all the other grimy little corner stores in the area, and I sure hope it stays this way! It is clean, well lit and stocked. As expected, grocery and everyday items are slightly higher priced, but can’t beat the convenience from my office. They serve Caffe Umbria, along with a case full of fresh and attractive pastries and desserts. I got a tall vanilla latte with soy. It’s not extraordinary and the barista was a bit slow, but it’s better than my other choices within walking distance. The deli counter features Boar’s Head meats and cheeses. Sandwiches are priced competitively. There’s also a small salad and hot food bar that looked decent. I have not tried lunch items here though. Being new, the service is still a bit confused, but very nice and genuine. Oh, and they carry a good selection of fine chocolates. Real chocolates. God help me.

I’m adding another star for the tasty lemon bars and the fact that I can get decent(pricey) toilet paper here. Some things just shouldn’t be compromised.
