My coworker suggested I try this place. I have heard it talked about for months but the idea of a place with Korean food in a parking garage was interesting. I had the spicy chicken Katsu and it was pretty darn good. The people were very friendly. Service was very fast. I will be back again. Looks like the Teriyaki is pretty good based on other reviews. Not much for seating but it’s great for grab and go.

People are amazing, and the food is awesome. I have only been here twice because I just recently found this place, but the two things I’ve had have been great. Can’t wait to go back.

I work near the Waterfront Deli and have few lunch options and have been here countless times and each time they are out of things which are always on their menu — like green pepers, or pesto mayo. When I order tofu and rice, they say, not right now since it’s busy and to come back in an hour. I get the same thing almost everytime and it’s always a different price… not good.

I call this the«Secret Teriyaki» place and do my best to spread the word. Definitely a hidden gem(and literally it’s in an enclosed parking lot). My favorites are the chicken katsu or spicy chicken. The katsu is extra crispy with panko crumbs(yay gluten free) and the sauce on the spicy chicken is delicious. I’m trying to cut way back on processed carbs like white rice, but I have to cheat for this. Waterfront Deli makes perfect quality rice(which says a lot about a tiny establishment for not cutting corners). The Korean couple that work there are friendly, always offer fresh samples, and are funny and entertaining when it gets busy. Thank you Waterfront Deli!

Great, great place for food and service! My co-worker orders their katsu 3 times a week without fail so I went and tried it. AMAZING, not sure what they do but the katsu is somehow crispier without it being overcooked. Also they always have samples which I love :) Call ahead for pick ups, I hear it gets quite busy during peak lunch hours. This review is only for the katsu as I have not tired of it yet hehehe…

Best place for katsu, bulgogi or something with those two involved. Very small shop that gives lot of attention to personal service. The owners(cook and the chef) give personal attention to everyone that walks in and ensures that u leave their place smiling and food in your hand. Highly recommend this hidden jem!

What a gem! This place is great for katsu or spicy chicken, and it’s run by a sweet Korean couple. The prices are reasonable, the portions are decent, and the katsu is SOCRISPY! Mmm mmm. If you’re ordering during the lunch rush, you should probably call ahead and give them about 20 minutes to make your food, unless you want to wait there for 20 minutes. Even if you wait, it’s worth it. =)

This is my favorite place for Teriyaki, hands down. Right down the street from where I work, this place is really a hidden gem. They owners are so charming & simply the best! They are always so welcoming and greet my coworkers and I by name. The Katsu Chicken, Gyoza, spicy chicken, hand rolls, and combos are all great. They always have samples and great suggestions. If you work in the area; this is an excellent lunch spot worth checking out!

This place is run by the cutest couple! Super friendly and always smiling. The location of this place is a bit interesting… it’s inside a garage parking lot. But, that doesn’t matter because their food is delicious. I love the chicken katsu and the bulgogi combo. So glad this place is near my work!

They should call this place hidden deli, because it is in a parking garage! Yeah, I was a little skeptical at first but when you walk in you are immediately greeted by the most amazing couple(who run the place) and that’s also part of the charm. The katsu combo is great and I have been getting that and bulgogi combo! It’s great food! And sometimes they will throw in a little extra.

Fantastic place. Great food, and the couple that owns it is super friendly. Do not be deterred by its hidden location in the garage.

If you work in the area, this is a good deli to do take out; they don’t have a lot of sitting(just one table/4 chairs). I think they do delivery, but not sure through what 3rd party vendor. Food is overall good. I’ve only had the spicy chicken and gyoza. Co-workers I have gone with enjoy the Katsu Chicken Wrap. If your first time, I’ve posted the menu as of 11÷1÷2012; had to post 4 pics. They also have candy, medium size chips, and various juices and soda’s to choose from. The place is a hole in the wall in a garage, so if you think you’re in the wrong place, chances are you are in the right place :) If it matters to you, Korean owned teriyaki place. Bi Bim Bop might be pretty good w/katsu.

I make sure to visit Kim at least once a week for some great food. One of the best places you can slip off to in the area to pick up a quick bite for lunch. And the smoothies are very tasty but only worth it on a hot day unless you are a fan of brain freezes.

We get deliveries from Waterfront every week for lunch at my office and we LOVE them! They always are so friendly and do a great job accommodating our needs. We love their fried tofu and chicken katsu. The number listed on Unilocal is incorrect… It’s actually 206−283−9431. If you call the 349 number, you’ll get a lady who doesn’t speak English and hangs up on you… If you work in the area — go check them out. It’s definitely a take-out place since they are tucked away inside a garage and not really anywhere to sit. But easy to bring outside or back to work to munch on.

This was my first trip to the deli. A deli in the middle of a parking garage… don’t be fooled by the deli on the outside of the building. The place is run by a nice Korean couple. There’s the standard fare(sandwiches and such) on the menu… but I decided to go straight for the Asian fare. I got a bibimbap and katsu combo. It was delicious. And… the katsu was actually crispy on the outside. They also made me sample the kimbap, which was very tasty too! I’ll be coming back here regularly.

Surprised to find great cheap teriyaki down at the waterfront behind western ave! Definitely recommend the spicy chicken teriyaki for only 4 bucks! Great value, good food, but no seating. Good for a work meal takeout!

Waterfront Deli is a great place to get lunch on a workday. Dubbed the ‘secret deli’ by many folks at work, it’s literally a hole in the wall of the parking garage just south of the Seattle P-I building. My boyfriend and I’ve been bringing our lunch lately but didn’t today, so decided to walk the few blocks there. We both got the bibimbap and katsu combo($ 6.99). They’ve got great katsu, light and crispy with an awesome katsu sauce. While their bibimbap as a whole isn’t the best I’ve had, the spicy red pepper sauce for the bibimbap is one of the best I’ve tried. You can tell it’s home-made! And they give you lots of bulgogi/teriyaki beef on it, which makes it even more filling and tasty! So not a ‘traditional’ bibimbap, but good nonetheless. They’ve always got 3 – 5 different items to sample, and the owners are this sweet Korean couple. The wife will always make sure you take at least one sample! I hear their smoothies are also good, but I haven’t tried ‘em yet. *If you’re not sure what bibimbap is, check out this Wikipedia article:
