I had been looking for a Starbucks-replacement and decided to pop into Urban Oasis. It’s quaint and clean, which is great, but the baristas were rude and the coffee was not that good. The free wi-fi is a definite plus, but not enough of a draw to get me there on a regular basis.

Quick stop for coffee while I was working downtown. Nothing special, nice interior, plenty of seating and coffee was all right. It seemed a little disorganized and I do not like when the have a half gallon milk carton sitting out even in ice.

This is a really nice little place. I used to come here all the time to read and do work. I don’t live nearby anymore and kind of miss this place.

I love this coffee shop. It’s super warm, all the places to sit are comfy and the art they feature is nice. The baristas are all friendly and have clearly put effort into making the space super inviting. I know some people have complained about the speed, but I would rather have someone put a little more time into my drink, than pay for the Starbucks mad dash experience.

Eh… not a bad smoothie. It’s what you expect. Nothing special. Still good, just nothing special. On the other hand, cool atmosphere. Just not in the best location. I think they would benefit if they moved.

I met up with a girlfriend here on a whim and was impressed. They had a small but delicious menu, available cold or warmed. The food is pre-prepared but still fresh, and they had options from breakfast burritos to paninis. The server was much more amicable than I would have expected from a private Seattle coffee shop barista. I expressed that I was a coffee snob and was trying to determine the style of their drip coffee, and he was very receptive and had a conversation with me about what I preferred and why. The ambiance was really comfortable with a wide variety of seating options: couches, 2-tops, long tables, high tables. They had a section of board games to use as well as a piano. I would definitely return!

What a sweet little coffee shop! I popped in here for a meeting and was pleasantly surprised by not just the size of the space, or the various eating options, but I loved the free WIFI and the service. I asked for some loose leaf tea and the guy behind the counter jumped up and brought a few samples for me to sniff and choose from. He was extremely friendly and seemed like he loved his job. It put me in a good mood just being there!

Nestled in the hard of Belltown, this is a great place to drop by and catch a beer or coffee. Great beers on tap and nice lounge wear to sit and relax and chat with a friend. Not a typical bar atmosphere but more coffee shop appeal. Enjoyed a pitcher of beer with friends, before going out for the night. Nice!

My fiancé and I were walking through Belltown when we hit a dangerous blood sugar drop. We stopped in to Urban Oasis, but were skeptical that this was what we were looking for. The owner was behind the counter and must have sensed our skepticism, because he engaged us in a conversation about their offerings… not in a creepy salesman sort of way, but in a genuine, friendly manner that immediately had us dropping our guards. We split a sandwich, which we had warmed up in the panini press, and grabbed a couple beers. The sandwich was fabulous and the atmosphere was so relaxed that we ended up loitering for quite a while. We don’t always swing down 1st, but we certainly will do so more often now.

«Please, come on in and make this your living room!» That, my friends, is a direct quote from an employee when asked if my friend and I could practice a song on their piano. We did just that. I feel as at home there as I do in my own home! It’s sophisticated enough for a glass of wine or pitcher of beer after work, but friendly and chill enough to be inviting for families. Their pizza is insane good and always gooey and fresh baked. Their cookies, muffins and pasteries have an addictive quality. Oh yeah, their coffee is pretty good too! Two thumbs way way up!

Great coffee shop that’s more than a coffee shop. Good food & atmosphere… some music, wine, all the stuff we like, & nice people.
