I love this place. Great in all ways and off the mainstream path. Highly recommend for a night of drinks with friends.

Good dive with random good music. Ok beer selection with a small back patio for a nice toke. Sometimes the bartenders can get a little tipsy

Great acoustic music tonight, but the real show stopper is the bartender Jesse. He is awesome and his drinks are very tasty!!!

Tims Tavern on 105th is in its 3rd year and believe me it has gotten better. The other day I treated myself to a fireball and it was the best Jack Daniels that I have had in a long time. The food there is fantastic. If you are hungary… try the ribs… It comes with potato salad and the salad is just creamy and down right good. I left the city of New York 20 years ago and this is one of the reasons. Tims music scene is one of the best in seattle. He had last year a tribute to the late Jim Morrison and the performance by the lead singer of this group knocked my socks off! The bands who perform here are some of seattle up and coming and to this old goat of a rocker… It is some of the best. Of by the way… Tims birthday is Friday. Come in the tavern and sing and wish him Happy Birthday… Happy Birthday Tim and i will see you on Friday!

Live local music is more important to me then most everything else. Tim’s delvers.

This is a great neighborhood bar. I generally go for the live music, they get some great acts in there. It can get a bit crowded during those, but the bar is run very well, you never really have to wait for a drink. It’s a fun atmosphere and there’s a good crowd in there. I’ve always had fun!

Friendly local sports bar. Quiet and relaxing day times. Very dog friendly. Check out their ribs!

Great dive! None of the other bars within walking distance of my place are dog friendly. Been here twice since moving to the neighborhood a month ago and plan to become a regular as soon as my schedule clears up(studying for the bar exam). Good beer, good service, dog friendly, what more does one need?

A couple of our friends were performing one night, and we came to support them. They have cheap eats and cheap beer. I had a cider on tap and it was very good. We were also really hungry so we ordered the ribs, which were surprisingly really tasty. This bar is a little out of the way for me, but it’s a great little spot for live music.

I went in here to ring in my birthday this last Monday night. The bartender was fantastic. Excellent drinks, stiff but still tasting good. Awesome crowd, super friendly. The ribs were amazing! Only $ 7 for a slab of them. Hell yeah. Will definitely go back!

Best neighborhood bar in North Seattle! Rotating micros on tap, good deals at happy hour, awesome ribs, pulled pork and don’t forget taco Tuesday!!! Bingo, bands, movies and more!!! Always fun to be had here! Bartenders Linda, Fran, Theresa, Steve and Dave all rock! And Tim is a great bar owner!

Tim’s Tavern has earned the 5th star. I went to Tim’s earlier this evening and was greeted by Steven the bartender. I sat at the bar and conversed with Steven and a couple patrons. I got a whiskey sour and a 7 and 7. They were also showing A Clockwork Orange from a projector onto one wall. I was only there for an hour because I was waiting for my girlfriend to get off work. But it was a fun hour and so they get the 5th star

This place rocks! Awesome live music, stiff drinks and clean bathrooms! Add in super friendly staff … what more can you ask for in a small neighborhood bar? Highly recommended!

Ideal neighborhood bar for the North Greenwood /Bitter Lake /North Park(?) area. As such, it caters to a wide variety of people without the slightest of judgement in terms of service. I won’t use terms like«dive bar» or «hole in the wall» to describe this place, because Tim’s is much better than that. It’s a quality, no nonsense establishment — a bar you’d envision being made by someone who wanted to make a no frills, quality bar.

This is a fun little whole in the wall joint. I really liked visiting and plan on making a stop by their open mic one of these nights. IT definitely has a local feel so if you aren’t a relaxed person and can’t be patient I suggest you pick a more tourist type bar.

This place. I am torn between 3 and 4 stars. I might come back and upgrade later; the bartender is super sweet and nice, and the beer selection is good. The bathroom isn’t disgusting, and no one seemed to mind Mike and I loudly criticizing the UFC fight on tv. Someone slid us some Valentines Day chocolates, too. The beers are well priced here, even not during Happy Hour. It’s the perfect spot to wait for the sushi to be done next door. :)

Tim’s advertises itself as a retro dive bar. Not sure if I got the retro feeling, but it is definitely a very nice dive bar and even has live music! Our large group stopped by on a recent evening, and the single bartender provided great service and took care of the group quickly. They have all of the basics as well as some decent drafts on tap. Will definitely come again for drink, as it is just one of those places that feels very comfortable whether you are alone or with a group.

Small little hole in the wall bar, with great staff & a parking lot, woohoo! Staff are friendly, patrons are really really friendly. Known for its karaōke, but I don’t like that the karaōke stage & entrance to the bar are in the same place. Super distracting if you’re singing. Bathrooms are super small self contained units & open up to the bar. Ya gotta wash your hands in the bar, a bit weird. But it’s a fun place with a good crowd! Smoking area out back. Love that they’ve got the parking lot, as finding parking in the area is a pain since no parking on 105th. Great place for a small or medium sized group since its small & cozy.

Aimee on Monday night is the best(most badass) bartender on planet earth. If your cool she will let you know. and if your an idiot … well … don’t be an idiot and you will have a good time.
