Visiting from Austin and staying down the road so I stopped in this morning… just got my usual drip coffee but it’s so great! Barista was very friendly and accommodating to everyone in there. A+!

The Station is my favorite coffee shop in beacon hill. It’s so cozy inside and the patio is awesome, especially on those sunny days! I go there to meet up with friends or get work done because of the great drinks and free wifi. It has a real south Seattle community feel and great customer service.

I live in the area and after two disappointing visits, I now choose to pass up this shop for another in the area. The coffee & food are ok but I felt extremely unwelcome when I came to this shop. When I arrived for what would be my last visit to this shop, the baristas were in the middle of a conversation and didn’t bother to let me interrupt them. They continued on as if I wasn’t standing right in front of them, desperately trying to make eye contact. After waiting a minute I finally asked if I could order. Their attitude was as if I was an annoying inconvenience. I can’t rationalize spending my money to be treated like this.

The building is very cute and tucked away between houses on a pleasant neighborhood. We chose this based on photos and that it was a tad off our route on our road trip. However, we were disappointed when we ordered. My friend and I both received a chai but it was incredibly strong. It was bitter and left an unpleasant after taste. When we came, I wanted something to eat while on the road but their pastries were far too big for my liking(but would be great for anyone else!). I asked for a breakfast sandwich but the barista said that their toaster was broken and that they keep the sign up because the toaster being broken deters people from buying it. Had I lived in the area I would have been fine with it but since we were just passing through with no access to a microwave I had to drop my order. I felt unwelcomed to be honest? The place looked super cozy and perhaps we swung by on a bad day since the Chai was bitter and toaster was broken but the atmosphere was also INCREDIBLY quiet. It felt like we were in a library rather than a café.

This place is very small but cute. Coffee and hot chocolate delicious. Not much to choose from pastry section though. Be aware that they are mostly cash only! I was told by one employee that I’ll be charged $ 0.25 for using my card. Witch is probably double what they’re charged by credit card company… This place will be moving into bigger space just cross the street when the new building is up. I’m hoping to find more space for wheelchair or stroller and $ 0.00 fees for using card. If you driving be prepared to be looking for parking spot forever. Since it’s close to link rail it’s pretty congested and you can park only 2 hours.

Wow I love this place. Reminds me of what so many coffee shops in Seattle used to be like before the tech booms. The cold brew is top notch, the workers are super friendly, and it has a cool space out back to sit. If my condo was closer I’d practically live here. As it is, whenever I find myself nearby I make the effort to stop by, easily one of my favorite coffee shops in town.

The Station, recently started Internet java on BeaconHill. kitty corner from the beacon light rail station is an excellent location for Java, teas and pastries offering a wifi area. The approach is enjoyable and relaxed. The java is Herkimer. Stop in and hang to your lengthy Beacon Family.

Tried this place on a whim while waiting for someone to meet me elsewhere, and I must say I honestly based my choice off the fact I read they had wine ;) unfortunately for me, they were out of wine– but I had a chai tea latte instead. They have hemp milk, so bonus points for that! The chai seemed a little weak, but to their benefit I usually order extra chai which I forgot to order this time. The inside was super cute! I think they have a porch– they were almost closing and it was dark and freezing so it wasn’t open, but I’d definitely like to check it out in the future.

The staff is really friendly. The space is quite small, but really cozy. Their bakery products are good as well. Very interesting decorations. Overall, a nice small neighborhood coffee place that it’s worth trying.

Great coffee place, one of the best actually. Sometimes the weefee is down but there’s weefee everywhere so it’s all bueno. The station is always full of good folks from round the area. They got pretty groovy music on the stereo AAA+++ would get coffee again.

I might get a little sappy here, but this is my favorite coffee shop! The owners have so much involvement in bettering the community and creating a gorgeous, hip, comfortable place to hang out and present art or even talk about politics. I hadn’t been to The Station for a couple of years but moved back to Seattle, and they both recognized me and even came around the counter to give me a hug! We need more businesses like this! The coffee is also incredible. It has a very unique, smooth, rounded flavor and texture. No added flavors needed but they’re nice to add sometimes. Love love love The Station!

Love the staff and patrons. One of the only diverse community spots where you can be yourself. They are genuine and kind and warm. They are loyal to their customers and look out for you. Their coffee is the best and served fast with smiles and humor.

This little gem is LITERALLY the only thing I miss about Seattle. For me, it’s not about the drinks, although they make tasty ones, but it’s the vibe. The awesome, personable, open, friendly, diverse VIBE that made every trip there worth it. Take your ipad, don’t take your ipad, whatever– it won’t matter. People watch, chill, pet the doggies and just enjoy the scene. And be sure to tip your baristas!

Cute shop, great location, ample parking, pretty/friendly baristas, and stellar coffee. There is literally nothing I can say about this place other than why did I wait SO long to come here? Seriously, after my first sip I was hit with ‘holy shit, I needed this.’ I got an iced coffee with room for milk too, nothing fancy and it was great.

This is a fairly small coffee shop but nice in its own way. I like how it has a urban/laid back vibe. People come and go to get their coffee here. The barista/cashier was pretty nice and friendly. They made sure to acknowledge your passing and goings. It was really hard for me to find a table to study at since all of them were occupied. I had to sit on a stool at a bar like counter. My back started to hurt after 2 hours. Its not a bad place to study at but the music is fairly loud. They were playing some kind of techno music that made it hard to concentrate at first. I eventually got used to it though. The bathroom is very clean here and I appreciated the extra effort they put in to keeping their facilities tidy.

All aboard!!! The Station is a cute neighborhood café in Beacon Hill located by the Seattle Public Library and the Red Apple grocery store. The baristas are definitely friendly and the homey atmosphere is a nice way to start off your day. There aren’t a lot of coffee options in Beacon Hill, so The Station adds something well needed to the area. However, it does have limited hours, which is unfortunate. Additionally, don’t expect anything too fancy. The Station is really just a small, charming local coffee place to hang out. Just an fyi, this place is cash only! So, remember to bring enough money to enjoy a latte or a yummy Mexican Mocha. The breakfast bagels are pretty big for the price you pay, and there’s nothing like a tasty egg sandwich to satisfy your belly.
