I generally don’t come to Starbucks due to the poor service the company seems to offer, but today I came in for a chai latte while I waited for a friend. The line wasn’t bad but there was a rather large crowd near the serving counter, blocking my access. As a result, I sat at a table and waited for my name to be called, all the while watching for a drink that could have been mine. After a few minutes, the crowd cleared but there was drink that had been sitting on the counter still present. I walked over to inquire about it since my name hadn’t been called, and when I asked the barista, he decided to not only get an attitude with me, but also to roll his eyes at my question. What is the point of getting a persons name if you don’t bother to call it when their drunk is ready? Furthermore, if you are going to get an attitude when a customer asks a legitimate question, then perhaps don’t work in food service.

Space/Seating: 4.5÷5 lots of cozy small tables and bench seating with a large communal table and stools as well, lots of accessible power outlets. A little outdoor seating for people watching. Cleanliness 4.5÷5 they take their appearance seriously Professionalism of Baristas: 5⁄5 — professional, caring, attentive to the customer yet still having fun at what they do. Drinks: 4⁄5. we didn’t get anything fancy, just drip coffee, but it was fresh! Food: 5⁄5 — sandwich was hot and fresh and they took the time to made sure it didn’t slide apart in the heating process. :)

One of the less busy Starbucks in the area, however I felt the customer service was outstanding. I felt like they actually liked to help me. I felt comfortable and welcome even though I’m one of those people who come in for hours to work on homework and get free refills on my coffee(green level Starbucks card) This location had ample seating & really comfortable chairs! More comfortable than other Starbucks I’ve been to imo. All the Starbucks serve the same coffee so I can only say this location is different due to the awesome customer service!

This is actually inside the Barnes & Nobles. It is a separate business as they just rent out space inside. I had just a tea bag and hot water, not rocket science. I just chilled and read my book before the concert I was attending down the street. Decent customer service.

Ok, so my friend and I always come to this location when we hit up Seattle, but damn. this time was not a great experience. Massive amount of flies flying around barista. I could tell he wanted to slap his forehead multiple times to get the flies off. I had to shut my mouth the entire time standing by the bar and not only that. i probably drank a fly. It was disgusting. I grabbed the managers card, he will hear about his unsanitary store.

Even though there are a ton of people that frequent this place(especially during rush-hour times), the line always moves quickly and efficiently and the staff is always genuinely pleasant(even in extreme situations). I was coming from an early morning meeting, so I was a bit grumpy, and decided that I needed coffee stat! Despite the intimidating line(but also based on past experience with this particular Starbucks), I decided to give the place a try. I wasn’t disappointed: I wish I got his name, but I noticed one of the cash register guys took the time to compliment every person whose order he took on something he observed about them — It was a truly nice touch and I’m sure it made someone’s day. I was in and out of the place in 5 – 10 minutes, despite the line going almost to the door. Awesome!

Ill admit… I like starbucks! Actually, I like the convenience, as Ive always thought the coffee was a little on the burnt side. It takes the guesswork out of finding coffee though, and knowing what to expect has a lot of brownie points in my book…

While the quality of food and drink rarely varies from Starbucks to Starbucks, the experience and staff can be drastically different from one corner Starbucks to the next. I’m pleased to say the staff here are top notch. While working in the area, this Starbucks really became my go-to coffee place. In general, I found the lines here to be slightly shorter than other locations nearby. That being said, expect a wait if you’re coming around 8 am or 2 pm(those times were almost always pretty crowded). However, the staff are efficient and kept things moving at a fast pace. Bonus points for a good chunk of the baristas remembering my name and coffee order within a few visits. Two of the managers(at least I believe were managers) get my respect for always being on top of it and being two of the friendliest baristas I’ve ever encountered.

This store represents the paradigm of what excellent service at Starbucks should be. And you can point out a few of the staff to your children to educate them on what caffeine does to a person. I say that with love only. What you can say to your child, after you’ve ordered him a Peppermint Hot Chocolate, is, lil Bobby, this Starbucks is just like that Transformer I bought you, a well-oiled racing machine that goes from 0 – 60 in like half a second as soon as you say Tall Soy No Whip Cinnamon Dulce Latte. It screams over to the espresso machine and then effortlessly drifts its way under the invisible sign that says ‘pick up’ where the barista says ‘have a good one, Phoenix!’. I don’t have child but if I did, the next sentence to him would be ‘this is how mommy tolerates the world outside of you and daddy’. No matter how busy this place gets with lines out the door, the morning staff churns and burns, beaming with positive energy. And it’s pretty impressive at the number of cups that are written up with names and drinks that the baristas already know by heart. «Sara, your usual today?» Barista writes up a Vente quad shot Americano extra hot with room. i just made that up but you get what I mean. Meanwhile, lil Bobby is trembling just a wee bit because mommy is about to go 0 – 60 real soon and Bobby is going to be waving around like a little foxtail off the antenna. Seriously, there is no fucking around here. The one time they missed getting me my 8-grain roll, it was handle on the spot once they recognized I was waiting to long. They asked me what I was waiting for after I had already received my coffee. They gave me what I was missing along with a card for a free cuppa joe on my next visit. After being coffee free for 3 years prior to moving to Seattle and then doing the whole when in Rome thing, I’ve found myself here almost every morning for almost 2 years now. Every once in a while I’ll shake it up with a coffee from some other local faves, but for the every day grind, this is the place for me to be. A machine…

Every time I’ve been in I’ve seen different people working but it’s always the same excellent service. The people working there are always smiling, working hard and being friendly. I don’t go to many Starbucks often, maybe it’s part of the Starbucks company training but it’s defiantly better overall than other coffee houses. Everything is clean, warm and inviting. Good job!

Yes it is another Starbucks. It is in the heart of downtown right next to Pacific Place so it is extremely easy to access via public transportation. It is across the street from Nordstrom. The staff here are very friendly. They are very chatty and nice. The only thing I find quirky is that the Via packets aren’t prominently displayed here on the shelves. Most of the time they’re at the front where the cash registers are.

One of countless Starbucks locations in downtown Seattle. This location is located at Pacific Place though not actually in the main shopping mall area. It has its own storefront on the side of the complex next to Chase and across from the 6th Ave Nordstrom entrance. I like that this is location is near the main downtown shopping area, but not on Pike or Pine despite the address saying so. It seems like the Starbucks locations on Pine are always packed with customers. Worked from this location on a Friday afternoon. It too was quite packed. Primarily a mix of shoppers and workers getting a coffee break or working from the coffee shop like I was. This location has a subterranean feel to it. The right hand side of the store is darkly lit and the top of the space is much shorter. Seating is decent. There is a good mix of tables and chairs to choose from here. Also like the coffee art on the walls. Went with one of my standby drinks, grande chai($ 3.65) which I have been drinking since my high school days. It was fine, albeit warm rather than hot. This is your typical Starbucks, except it happens to be in a busy shopping area. If you find the Starbucks locations on Pine to be too busy, check this one out as it is just a half block away and less congested.

I went on 5⁄13 after a show at The Paramount. Friendly & Fast! Not bad… close proximity to pacific place and the paramount so it works for convenience on foot! The barista’s seemed cheery and saw that I was checking in on Unilocal and asked how they were rated. LOL! I told them at the moment only 3 stars but that is only 7 reviews and the guy said i’ve only been here for 2 months we’ll have to work on it… and the barista said to the cashier what are you doing to the place? I originally had us ranked at 4 stars! LOL! All and all satisfied; they have a restroom with pin pad… probably to allow for only paying customers. a few cozy chairs and some bistro tables along with chairs… it was charming and cozy feeling of «ah… just stay a minute and relax away and off the beaten path from the hustle and bustle»

Maybe it’s because this specific location attracts many of the kids that loiter around the area, but this place doesn’t have very good service. Look, I realize that you probably have to deal with high traffic and people that smell, but that doesn’t excuse you from being so rude to paying customers. And my pumpkin spice latte tasted burnt and gross… yuck…
