Pacific Place

Expected high priced mall within the main city limits.
Love the layout of the place, and the stores in there are your typical high end brands.
If you want to buy brand name items, come to this place.
I only came to see a movie, honestly.
I did, however, see a very decent food court on one of the top floors. So, if you’re starving, they have a few food spots there of your choosing.
Beware: It’s a very busy area! Great location though.

Visiting this mall is a frustrating, tedious experience if you’re coming for a short trip, say to pick up a book at Barnes and Noble. The parking is exorbitant: $ 4 for half an hour, and quickly jumping up after that. The lot is always packed, and you have to use a series of elevators to get from parking to where you’re going.

I enjoy visiting this mall every so often, as I work downtown. The holiday nutcrackers are lovely this time of year. I also enjoy Tiffany’s window displays during the holidays and Valentine’s Day; they are beautiful.
The mall has a good variety of stores and restaurants. It’s also close to Westlake Center and Pike Place Market.

Pacific place mall is smack downtown in Seattle near the link station, well, actually connected too.
It is 4 stories high with a variety of shops that appeal to different age groups. Unfortunately, none of these shops appealed to me. It also looked like it appealed to the more younger obnoxious crowd, or perhaps my visit was ill timed.
It’s an okay mall that would be somewhat entertaining to out of town guests.

This place was to rich for my blood only reason i came in here was to get me chowder, it was real elegant three stories high amd the stores were all high end. Places like that always has rich folks that will look at u weird if ur not dressed with a suit like them. The movie theater they had in there looked nice and the mall it self was nice but definitely out of my comfort zone.

I like this mall it has cheap to higher ends like club Monaco. Only thing is the parking in the area sucks.
Other than that, this place is very welcoming. I definitely would and will comeback to this place.
Also when you walk out the mall, you will see the strip of boutiques outside which is nice and take a nice walk around the area with all the stores.

Whenever my boyfriend and I come to Seattle on the weekends for leisure, and not for work, this is where we park. There’s also an abundance of parking spots and it’s only $ 8 for the whole day. That’s what I call a deaaaalll.
Pacific Place has all of the best stores, too! Pink/​VS, Tiffany & Co., LuluLemon, and lots more. It’s a great place to stop and peruse before you even step out into the shopping district.

This is a nice mall but everything about it is expensive. Parking, the shops… It has some mid scale (express, Francesca’s, j. jill) and up scale (Michael Kor’s) shops. It’s clean and well maintained. It’s worth a visit.

This is not a big mall but it has lot of stores. the third floor is where the food court is located. As well the top floor is where the theater is located as well. Parking is free if you are there to watch a movie.
It is located in a really hot good location. Which does have a lot of traffics. Lots of traveler likes coming here to shop. The mall is clean.

Pacific Place was definitely a really nice mall and best of all it was across the street from were I was staying.
Went to the mall many times over the week I was there and, And the movie theater inside top floor is the best.
Many great stores and lots of food choices.

I love parking here. It’s in the center of everything and has reasonable rates. Garage closes at 2 though and doesn’t open till 5am

Pretty small mall and full of more higher end shops. My favorite would be Zara’s since it was quite large with two floors and had tons of sale items! Zara in SF is smaller and doesn’t have that many sales so it made me happy :)
This mall also comes with a parking lot conveniently under the mall charging about $ 3 an hour on weekdays.

This is my go-​to place for downtown parking when I want to hangout downtown. It’s centrally located and easy access to and from the underground parking. I like that it’s close to Nordstrom and just about all the other shopping areas downtown. The alternative to parking here is going over off of 3^rd & Stewart at the Macy parking deck.
As for shopping there’s a Tiffany’s; almost everything else I need I order online anyway and just skip the hassle of going to downtown.

I am a fan of the parking of this mall. The parking off of either 6^th or 7^th ave and Olive Way is a real deal for parking on the weekends.
If you are parked over a Saturday or Sunday under 24 hours your parking is 10 dollars. If you park Sunday overnight into some of Monday like I did the parking was 15 dollars (some of Monday’s cost and over 8 hours on Sunday etc).
If you are staying at the Hyatt at Olive 8 like I did the valet parking there is 45 dollars a day. I parked here at Pacific Place for 2 nights and it was 25 bucks total.
The stores in Pacific Place are a bit higher end and the mall has a nice décor to it. I liked the interior as it was open to the ceiling and an open feeling in general because of the way the layout leaves the middle of the mall like an atrium.

If you’re looking for a mall and you’re in the downtown area, then this is the place for you! (Primarily because the next shopping area is either North in the outdoor mall in the U-​District or South to Southcenter in Tukwila…)
The mall is very clean, bright, and even has a welcome desk that caters to not only mall-​goers, but also that of tourists too! They have brochures a-​plenty, and there are almost always two people there to greet you and answer your questions.
Now to why this is only three stars and not more. Starting with the thing that annoys me the most. The escalators. They were poorly designed, so if you are running late and need to catch your 7PM movie, you’re better off running to the elevator than to zig and zag your way up the escalators.
The hours. The mall seems to only have hours that cater to the business crowds, and the whole place starts shutting down around 7PM. So if you’re coming from anywhere besides downtown and want to run into L’Occitane before it closes, you’re better off going to a different mall.
The food options. There are a few full-​service restaurants and then just Pike Place Chowder, if you’re looking for a quick meal before a show. Slim-​pickings, but adequate for how busy this mall appears to be.
And if you couldn’t tell, whenever I come here it’s 75% because I’m catching a movie at the AMC Pacific Place 11 (which I will review separately).
So the mall is fine if you know what is here, know the hours beforehand, and can snag some free parking. But the real draw to this place would be the few restaurants that are here coupled with the theater. Even though the restaurants are local and nationwide chains, it makes it easier if you’re planning a dinner and a movie.

This is a small to medium sized, indoor mall with mid-​range to high-​end shops with some restaurants and a movie theatre. I like this mall a lot. I can go into Tiffany’s, Express, and Coach while also shopping at L’Occitane, Eddie Bauer & Victoria’s Secret.
There’s also a walking bridge to get to Nordstrom!
There is a concierge service as well. This will come in handy for a huge shopping trip during the holidays. They will hold your bags for you so you don’t have to schlep around all of your purchases from store to store. Then you can stop back when you leave the mall and get everything on your way out. They’ll call a cab for you, let you borrow a stroller for your kiddo for free, and buy tickets for you for shows and movies if you ask. Also, if you are staying downtown or live downtown, and you buy something at the mall and want to send it to someone, you can have the concierge ship it for you.
Parking’s affordable but annoying. I don’t believe in paying to park my car when I’m already spending money there.

Great indoor shopping mall. A little something for everyone. I love how it goes up and it’s not crazy huge!

Great movie theater!
And a great variety of restaurants.
I love that they have a parking lot! And it’s a big one! And surprisingly the park is actually affordable. We parked here for an event then got dinner was debating a movie too but worried about the price of parking. Well it was so cheap kicking ourselves for not seeing a movie!
Great mall!!!

Pacific Place is an attractive indoor space in downtown Seattle. It is a verticle four story mall centered around an atrium. This review discusses how they score by category of store.
Apparel:
The shops are more upscale than mid-​level apparal shops. The Gap, Marshall’s and Ross are out of their element here. Apparal shops in Pacific Place include Guess, Barney’s New York, Eddie Bauer, and Club Monaca. There is also a walkway to Nordstroms. If your wealthy the apparel stores will get 4 stars. If your on a budget more like 2 stars.
Children’s and toys:
I only saw two shops for children. It is Top Ten Toys and Gymboree.
Jewelry:
Fitting into the upscale theme, I would think this would be an excellent mall for jewelry. From what I see, most of the jewlry business is a part of the apparal shops.
Shoes
There was not one store selling sneakers. So, I give Pacific Place zero stars for their shoe stores.
Specialty stores
The speciality stores reflect the upscale target market. The shops include The Art of Shaving, SEVEN Salon.
Electronics:
There are a few good electronic stores. It was in this mall that I first saw a Microsoft shop. There is also an At&T and Bose store, plus GameStop.
Specialty Gifts:
The specialty stores are nothing to boast over. They include Brookstone, Teavana, Sixth Avenue Wine Seller, and Coach.
Dining and coffee
The dining and coffee options are good. When you walk in from Olive Street there is II Fornaio Risotteria. Deep on the first floor there is a II Fornaio Risotteria & Bakery and Café. The other full service restaurants include Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant, Mexico Cantina y Cocina, Thai Ginger, and Pike Place Chowder. The closest to casual dining is the Johnny Rockets by AMC Theatres.
And there is the standard Starbucks. It is on the sixth Avenue side.
Books:
When it comes to books Pacific Place is my kind of place. At Seventh and Pine, a Barnes & Nobles stands at its southeast corner.
Entertainment:
The AMC Theatres on the fourth level is a state-​of-​the-​art multiplex. I give Pacific Place 4 stars for entertainment on account of the fact that it is the home of a state-​of-​the-​art multiplex in the downtown near the hotels.
Conclusion:
Pacific Place is my kind of place for books and movies. Owing to the fact that the majority of the shops are solely marketed for the upper income and sneaker shops are nonexistent, Pacific Place is not my kind of place for shopping. The way I experienced it, Pacific Place is an attractive three star kind of place.

Victoria’s Secret rules.

This mall is pretty annoying. There is no free parking, and you must pay at the concourse level below the mall. I think it’s a plot to get people to have to pay more in parking because people get to their car and drive to the exit then end up having to park again and walk back inside to pay. Dishonest really.
The actual shops here are great, with food options and a theater on top of the mall. There is also a cupcake shop on the concourse level, so you can get your sweet tooth fix while you wait to pay for parking.
There are some flat rate parking lots around the mall and if you are planning on seeing a movie they end up being cheaper to park at.
