Super Bowl had a free pizza offer for all Papa Johns. This Papa John did not grant us our offer and turned it down. This is a horrible establishment for customer service.

Got an XL Ham Sausage and Onion Pizza for the Seahawks game and it easily was the sloppiest most unappetizing looking pizza ive seen aince i was in my high school cafeteria. We ignored that and unfourtnatly and ate most of the thing only to find myself feeling very sick just a couple hours kater at the most. By about 10pm that night i had began vommiting more than i have in years and running to thw bathroom back and forth ill never eat here again and i will warn ever single person i know tp do the same!

This is usually our go to for pizza mostly because my hubby used to get so much of it when he was a bachelor. I don’t mind Papa John’s as I like the garlic sauce you can drip the bread in but I am more of a Pagliacci fan myself(where no sauce is needed — I eat it all!) But I did carryout since I wasn’t in the mood to wait for the pie when there was a Seahawks game on. It was only 5 mins away from our house and it was totally empty probably due to being right around kickoff of a home Seahawks game. Food was done and I was in and out within 1 min(including signing the prepaid receipt). Food was good as always and parking was ample on street so no complaints here.

My family and I have ordered a pizza a week here for nearly the last 12 months. Hundreds of dollars on dozens and dozens of pizzas. Theres been some minor issues in the past, but we’ve always overlooked them because our daughter is a finicky eater and she really likes their Pizza. Today I tried to order a couple pizzas on their website online. I tried configuring my order twice but both times I tried to purchase it would increase the price about 30% right before final checkout. I started over again, and entered in the same pizzas under a different special. It still came out 10 bucks higher than it should have according to the special deal on the website, but I didn’t care at this point and I just placed the order. When the pizzas showed up one of them was not baked on thin crust like I wanted. I explained this to the driver and he said he would call his boss and they’ll re-bake me new pizza on thin crust. The driver whips out his phone and calls his boss, Josh, and in just a few seconds josh says, «No, too bad, the order came in a thick crust,» and hangs up on his driver before the he can even say anything else. I told the driver to call him back and let me speak to Josh. Josh and I get on the phone and I explain to Josh what happened and that I intended to order a thin crust pizza, and he re-explains that the order came in as regular crust, that his store is not at fault and that they will not re-bake my pizza. I explained to Josh that I’ve ordered countless pizzas from his store, that I believed I had ordered a thin crust and that I can’t eat this thick crust pizza and can he please re-bake one for me. Josh restates that its not his fault, and that he will not get me a new pizza. I urged him to change his mind one final time, and he rudely and condescendingly refused. I don’t know how or when the pizza I was ordering on the website got changed to reg crust, but good service in the restaurant industry sometimes means getting the customer a new dish /menu item, not sticking them with something they didn’t want. In this case stubbornly telling a long term customer«i’m right, your wrong, tough Sh*t» has cost this establishment all of my family’s business. The driver took off WITH the pizza I didn’t want and all the cash for the total bill, $ 22 of which was for the pizza I refused. Not being willing to replace the pizza is one thing but taking the Pizza back with you and keeping the money make this the worst pizza delivery experience I’ve ever had. My brother ordered a chicken pizza from this same place a couple years ago when he lived at my house that had giant bone in it, on which he seriously chipped his front tooth. He had to have it repaired by a cosmetic dentist, and this place refused to cover any costs. I overlooked this before, but after seeing other reviewed on here about lack of basic food safety, I feel compelled to share this also. For the cost of one pizza, or at the very least not running off with my cash, Josh could have kept me as a customer. I feel bad for the driver, he seemed like a nice kid.

Estimated delivery time was 30 – 45 minutes when i placed my order online. An hour has passed on our 50.00 order and no pizza, no email, no call. We called and nobody seemed to know why it was late or what the explanation was. We were told another 20 minutes because they needed to make it. 10 minutes later they are at our door. Cold pizza. So frustrated and mad I added my tip already.

Saw the reviews after ordering from them a couple times since we moved to west Seattle. It’s always on time, i use the app, and we live near Lincoln park) fresh and hot, delicious. Thanks for hooking up my extra ranch order!

The pizza tasted bad. This is the second time we’ve ordered from this location and the pizza was gross both times. I’m not sure how this happens considering papa johns has set ingredients and procedures…

Two words: food safety. We ordered a pizza for pickup while visiting my parents in West Seattle. I arrived before the pizza was done, which ended up being a good thing. Long story short, the mirrors enabled me to see an employee eating handfuls of toppings in between sprinkling them on my pizza. Fingers in mouth, fingers on toppings, repeated multiple times. No joke. I wrote to management, and they gave me a coupon for a large three topping pizza as resolution. Thanks, but no thanks. I know sanitation at fast food places probably isn’t great anywhere, but having to see it blatantly in front of me is something that can’t be ignored. There are plenty of pizza places in West Seattle. Wouldn’t recommend this one.

I’ve ordered from different Papa John’s locations over the years. This was my first time ordering from the CA Ave. location, and it was a disappointment all around. I really hope they were having an off day. First, I was annoyed to discover that just because of my ZIP code, the prices jumped sky high and the specials I’m use to having disappeared, including the ones they were advertising on the front of the website. I placed an online order for a lunch delivery since I was sick and working from home. I was surprised when my email confirmation told me delivery would be 1 hour! WTF! After 1 hour and 15 minutes going by, I was called by the location and told that they would be late with my order. All I ordered was 2 medium pizzas with 2 toppings. I said fine. That’s the female version of fine, you follow me? I asked how late, and he said another 20 – 25 minutes. Holy cow! 20 minutes later, the delivery guy finally arrives. They didn’t comp any part of the bill nor did they offer to give me something for free. Being sick and having lost my voice, I was in no mood to call the manager. I figured, at least there’s food, and I don’t have to cook or go to the store since I feel like I got hit by a truck. Then, the pizza was awful. The crust wasn’t freshly made. The ingredients seemed stale. They were just bad. BAD. Not at all the Papa John’s I know. What happened! If all the other pizza places in West Seattle go on strike or get flooded out or something, I might give this Papa John’s another chance. But probably not. Food: 1 Service: 0

This location gets five stars. Papa John’s Corporate gets ZERO stars. I placed a large order($ 300) online to provide pizza lunch for a construction site. Corporate shut down the computers for an upgrade and didn’t get them back on when they committed to. Luckily I called as soon as the location opened to make sure there would be no problem and was told they had no information on my order. The store did a great job of scrambling to get my pizzas done very close to when I needed them. I filed a complaint with corporate through their website and have gotten a canned spammy response and nothing else in over a week. I usually place orders like this quarterly, but may have to find a new supplier due to corporates lack of response.

This is the worst service that I’ve had in quite some time… I get that its a chain but this is just rediculous. The pizza was over an hour late and when I called and spoke to the manager he was not only uncaring he was insulting. Never again.

Papa John’s in West Seattle has long been my favorite, for Pizza delivery, however, the past 3 or 4 orders have been a disaster. This spring, they consistently take 1.5−2.5 hours to deliver, and the pizza has been stone cold. It’s not the driver’s fault, it’s poor management. I’ve called, they’ve given me credit for another pizza, and same story. At least it’s now consistent, not even going to call them to complain this time. Be warned… cold pizza, couple of hours later. Not again.

Only pizza company open and delivering at 11am during the Seahawks game vs. the Falcons. What can I say, our crew wanted pizza: we also had it the week before vs. the Redskins, so we had a bit of a «lucky charm» and«dammit don’t jinx it we’ll be so pissed at ourselves if we do anything different» mentality. As if WE truly affected the game with our food of choice.(But let’s… not talk about the actual game, shall we? Moving right along.) I decided to pick up b/c delivery was quoted as over 60 min(again, only pizza chain open at this hour) — it was hot and ready when I arrived. Guy with longer hair was busy but very friendly. The pizza is the same machine-generated pie you’ve had a million times. The crust is a little thin and bland, the cheese a bit cheap-tasting, but the sauce is good and it is a cheap deal. And, you know what they say about bad sex. The cinnamon sticks are surprisingly crunchy and pretty tasty(pic included).

I’ve actually had pretty experiences ordering pizza here except the last time and I don’t think I’ll be back for anymore. The customer service wasn’t always that great but I wouldn’t expect much for a $ 11 pizza. But as I walked out with my pizza, the cashier grunted«…all these fucking toppings and not even a big enough fucking tip!» After this incident, I refuse to go back to purchase anymore pizzas. The cashiers are rude and I rather take my business somewhere else.

Disgusting. Super salty, few toppings and just not fresh tasting. It was like chewing on a salt lick. This may just rival pizza hut for the worst pizza ever. I did a pickup and they made it while I waited so can’t blame the delivery. And this was a supreme style pizza but where the hell were the toppings? Ever see the canned bits and pieces of mushrooms in the cheap section of the canned goods? Bingo! I remember working at a pj in college so I speak from experience when I say things have gone bad with the chain. Pagliacci oh how I love thee!

I ordered a pizza a few weeks back and will never order from here again for the following reasons. 1. The pizza took 3 hours to get to my house. 2. When the pizza arrived it was cold. 3. When I called back the manager was rude and refused to help me. 4. When I filed a complaint to corporate, I never received a response. 5. My expectations were not unreasonable, and overall if I have an experience as bad as this with a restaurant or any business I will assume that there is some sort of mismanagement occurring, and they do not have the customer in mind. I own my own business on the side and the customer experience I went through would never stand.

Props to Papa John’s at California Ave in W Seattle for making my day. When I went to pick my free pizza(coz of a promotion) w/salad after some inconvenience due to MY mistake, they gave me a free side and when I was walking out the door everyone shouted«Have a good day!» Thanks for putting a big smile on my face and letting me keep some more $$ in my pocket!

I love online ordering. I have become so fed up with calling for pizza and having to deal with inept teenagers or people who don’t speak English clearly(whether they be foreign OR from here and just too dumb to use the proper form of the English language) that I find myself giddy when I find a pizza place that does online ordering. I can only hope that some day the pizza places will take a tip from Pagliacci and have a centralized phone system where they have people who are well trained and friendly and there JUST to take your damn order. You don’t NEED to talk to the store. No, really, you don’t. Papa John’s sent me a coupon for a free pizza shortly after their store and myself moved into the neighborhood. I have a few«regular» pizza places, so though I was tempted, I never tried to use it since I had never tried their pie. That is ’til the boyfriend ordered it at his place one night. That stupid garlic stuff is so damn good, I decided to finally use my coupon. The coupon that expired a week before. Oh well — THEYHAVEONLINEORDERING! Wheee! The crust was a bit more floppy than I usually like and the sauce could’ve used more oregano, but they delivered in the time predicted, knew exactly which building to buzz and I only had to deal with a pizza person for a few minutes! One bummer about online ordering at PJ — if you want to tip on your card, you have to add it when you order, not after they deilver. That’s bunk.

They do not deliver to my hood. The bf prefers this place over all else, so while in West Seattle on Thursday I called for a Hawaiian style pick up. I was 2 min. away at a friends house and mentioned this while on the phone and without skipping a beat, they offered to call me when it was ready. Super stars! They rang and I came right over. 15 minutes later I arrived home with said pizza and the bf was elated! Dipping his slice into a very delicious buttery garlic sauce, he smiled at me happy as a clam. Not hungry, I tried a bite myself and ended up finishing off a piece. The crust was really good, chewy and just scrumptious. The toppings were plentiful and melted into perfection. I felt under privileged as a child after trying this pie. I’ll be back!
