Favorite place for a drink and a snack. I have had each of the house specialty drinks and they were all great. I’m a whisky fan so some were a little adventurous for me but I enjoyed it. Bartender remembers us every time I come in and always makes sure we have a great time.

I finally got to try this place out on a quieter late spring Tuesday evening. They had their garage style windows open for a patio like feel which was great. It’s super comfy inside with throw pillows and leather bean bag style seats. We ordered a couple drinks and about 6 different tapas plates. Everything was packed with flavor with an eye on detail. I loved the pâté with pickled grapes. Our server brought us refills of the crostini 3x without us asking. Their white cheddar grilled cheese panino and tomato bisque was also the best I’d ever had. We’ll definitely be back soon.

This place is adorable, makes great and creative cocktails and the pâté is fantastic BUT … and this is a big but … KIDS should NOT be allowed in here. I was in on a Saturday night and there were a litter of small, screaming children running amok. I asked the waitstaff if they could at least ask the family to control the kids but they could not. Who brings kids to a bar on a Sat night? Who lets them scream at the top of their lungs? I get that you don’t want to pay for a babysitter but have some respect for those of us that have chosen NOT to have kids and thus, do not wish to be around them. Sadly, all the good cocktails and pâté in the world will not bring me back.

This place is amazing. Great drink selection, good music, friendly bartender. The food menu may be small but dont let it fool you, it packs a big punch when it comes to taste. I came in on a whim waiting for traffic to clear, ordered the Sautéed lacinato Kale, purely amazing! Will definitely be coming back!

I like this place and it’s in our ‘hood, but we don’t eat here often because we find out bill quickly stacks up to $ 100 or more(though two drinks each explains that). The ambience is dark and cozy and just the right amount of noisy on a busy night(we recently went around 7:30 on a Friday eve and nabbed the only available table, which had just been vacated). The cocktails are solid and from the Eats menu, the cheese-and-soup combo is a standout for me, as is the kale. I was unimpressed with the warm castelvetrano olives, which were so piping hot they tasted cooked through, which I didn’t expect at all(we had to let them cool down). The greasy pork sliders were so forgettable that my husband couldn’t recall them at all — until I reminded him of the scant filling in each of the three little servings. I also found the description of the salami plate a bit coy and misleading. The husband was still hungry after sharing the other three dishes mentioned, and neither of the desserts sounded enticing enough, so we ordered what we thought was a charcuterie-ish plate. I was planning on nibbling on the included green olives and grilled bread, which turned out to be small croutons and olive bits as part of an herb-and-date salad on top(yes, technically olives and grilled bread, but huh?). Our cute and friendly server offered to bring something else when I inquired where the bread was, but my husband liked the dish a lot so we stuck with it. All and all, the place makes for an enjoyable date night. It’s also a great place for happy hour on weeknights.

What a great place. I love Greenlake’s vibe and this place is the cherry on the sundae. I didn’t try any food, but I was very impressed with Robert’s cocktail skills. I tried to challenge him a bit and he proved he knows his drinks. Thanks to him and Bri for great conversation too. I certainly will return, sooner, rather than later.

Brian made some amazing drinks. If you have him just say bartenders choice!(Don’t order popcorn or olives). He picked out some great music too!

If you’re looking for a bar to hang out with friends, I’d suggest coming here. On a Friday night, it was not crowded at all. My single girlfriend was telling me how it is hard for singles to meet guys because the scene is not very happening in places like Greenlake or Greenwood. The bar was mostly filled with ladies catching up and couples. The bar was kind of dark/dimly lit. The music wasn’t too loud where I felt the need to shout. I thought the volume was set at a pretty good level. The drinks were okay — moderately priced. All their drinks cost about $ 6 – 10. I’d say the median price point is around $ 9. It isn’t too expensive but then again, it is not set at a happy hour price. We ordered two dishes — the truffle popcorn and blue cheese dates. I didn’t have the blue cheese dates so I can’t say anything about this dish. The truffle popcorn was a disappointment. It wasn’t fresh nor hot. The temperature of the popcorn was probably room temp and the seasoning was too salty. We sent it back. The bathroom was whimsically decorated. Oddly, it reminded me of the haunted mansion at Disneyland. Our waiter was very nice. He noticed that a drink was spilled and came by to wipe our table. There is plenty of parking out back.

Great ambience. Cocktails are great. Wine, scotch, whiskey lists are decent. Food options are limited but we have only been here for weekday happy hour from 5 – 7 or late night happy hour on a sunday till midnight. We tried the popcorn– good, grilled cheese sandwich with soup– great. I think we have tried the pâté before but it was ok, not memorable. Stars are for excellent service by the staff, right volume and type of music for a classy bar, noise was average. People were dressed up or down– both fit in. Docked a star for lack of food options and slightly overpriced food options. I would have got more dishes if everything in HH menu wasnt 10 $ avg.

One of my favorite spots in Phinney Ridge to relax with a cocktail. I’m a fan of their Bobby Burns. Great selection of whiskey as well. Ambiance is nice and service is good

Came by for a Sunday evening date and had a great time! The eats selection may be small, but all the dishes we tried were delicious! We had the truffle popcorn, sloppy joe sliders, chicken pâté, stuffed dates, and the s’more dessert. I was really looking forward to the s’more, but it turned out to be a really sweet s’more sandwich, which I wasn’t look for. Still not bad though. I think the sliders and the chicken pâté were my faves. Great selection of drinks, too, and perfectly made. I had the French 75(twice) and it was balanced, bubby, and did it’s job! My date had a martini with black pepper in it and found it spicy but good. Would totally come again!

Excellent cocktails. Delicious food. This location is much bigger than Oliver’s Twist in Magnolia. Nicely designed room. Menu items are slightly different. I’d highly recommend the chicken wings/pork sliders/potatoes cooked in duck fat and the olives. Staff are friendly and know their stuff, if you’re not sure what you want to drink just ask and they’ll concoct something tasty for you.

I could sit here next to these open garage doors in the front of the restaurant and do work on my laptop for hours. It is comfy and there is nice chill music on. It’s very eccentric in here with various art pieces and bright fun pillows to lean against and get comfy. My heart broke a tiny bit when they told me they had NOWIFI. I luckily used my hotspot… But please, please get wifi. It’s just a necessity in a place like this. I’ve had the same waitress both time I’ve come, she has awesome lavender hair that I love. She’s works at a comfortable pace. I have not eaten here. I prefer drinks. But I’m sure it’s lovely!

I came here yesterday to grab a drink with a friend. The staff was really friendly and was able to bring us drinks very fast. The overall feel of the place was pretty good for my taste. It wasn’t some cheap hole in the wall place and it also wasn’t some fine dinning place. It was perfect for a causal place to hangout with a friend. The pricing was pretty good to. I didn’t end up spending a bunch of money either. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a causal low key place to just hangout with friends or a date.

Solid spot — complex cocktails and well-done snacks. I loved the duck fat potatoes, grilled cheese, and marshmallow sandwich for dessert. Drinks were very good, especially the one with turmeric in it — looks like yellow cool-aid but tastes way more sophisticated! Generous happy hour too. Perfect place to take a date or just catch up with friends.

Never disappoints. shit dinner and got here as quickly as I can. Bullseye made me feel warm in the tummy and much better. All is right in the world again. Tuesday vibe is Great. not too many people. My favorite watering hole although very far from being a hole in the wall. Hip vibe without the Ballard Bros, Cap Hill Hipsters or Belltown Boobs. I’ve been working down the list and haven’t been disappointed. nice staff and not too overly friendly or disingenuous. Vieux Carré is my favorite for fall and winter. spring? Moscow mules or sowerberry. Best Moscow mules I’ve had in Seattle. Nice selection of other herbalicious liquors as well. Like the limited beers on draft. Stoup and Boneyard.

I’m so glad I finally got to try this place! My friend and I stopped in here for a drink to kill time before our dinner reservation. It’s funky, cozy and intimate — I immediately fell in love with the overall vibe of this neighborhood cocktail bar. I ordered the Giles — vodka, blood orange, elderflower and bubbly. It was like it was invented for me. Tangy, fizzy and not to sweet. It was perfection! My friend ordered the classic Moscow Mule which was done well, and in the traditional glass(nice and frosty!) I would love to return to try some of their nibbles and sample other cocktails on the menu!

It’s hard to find that perfect bar. The one that makes you feel comfortable but provides enough ambiance to make it worthwhile to leave your living room. The one that is creative but not pretentious. The one that is full enough on a Friday night to make it feel alive but not so crowded that you have nowhere to sit. The one that offers delicious cocktails AND beer AND wine AND food. The one that doesn’t break your wallet. Oliver’s Twist managed to meet this high bar. We met up with some friends on a Friday night and lingered around the bar until a table opened up, which happened almost instantly. The service was excellent and we got our drinks within a matter of minutes. The dark and stormy was one of the best cocktails I have had in the entire city. And when we ordered a single late night s’more sandwich to split between four people our waitress brought out individually divided pieces for us to devour(all too quickly). Overall we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The service, food, and drinks were all top notch.

Sometimes you just want to go out, grab a drink, and relax. You don’t want to be bothered with the loud humming and buzzing of an overly crowded bar and waiting forever just to grab the bartender’s attention. This is the place to go! The ambiance is dim and intimate. There’s plenty of seating, both booths and at the bar. The bartender is very nice and helpful with selecting the perfect drink for you. During my visit I order the Miss Nancy which had a nice balance of alcohol and fruitiness. Then I ordered the Moscow Mule which I enjoyed even more. It reminds of the one from The Innkeeper in Belltown which is one of my favorites! It doesn’t have that sharp ginger bite and yet it’s still really refreshing. I like it my Moscow Mules smooth and well balanced with the vodka. They have an extensive drink menu that I’m sure will have a drink that tickles your fancy.

What a gem! This is one of the first times I’ve been to this neighborhood and it’s a really charming little strip in a nice low-key neighborhood. It was a Thursday but man that place was hopppppin! Not in a bad way, either. So the inside is small, it’s quaint. The layout is a little bit odd as it goes in back and deep. That’s what she said. The 70’s color scheme of browns and reds is a little off putting to me. The reds and oranges seemed a bit too pronounced for my liking, but as far as design goes it was nice. The weird masked aliens on the walls are a little strange too. We both got a couple drinks each. I got a girly drink to start with, mine had a sprig of rosemary in it, which we discussed at length as to why it is necessary and how it just a gimmicky and unnecessary addition to an otherwise perfectly good beverage. The lady had something equally as fruity and girly sans rosemary. We went for more classic drinks for round two, though I was happy to see that my absinthe came with all accessories for me to pour it myself! Washington State stuff. Nice! Perfect place for date night, though sometimes the music was a little loud.(good music, however) I didn’t get to try food yet but it looks delicious and gives me a reason to come back.
