This is the perfect spot to relax and have a glass of wine. The décor is very inviting and warm. It is the perfect neighborhood spot. The service is helpful. I like that they let you try a small amt of the wine before deciding on what wine to order. My friend and I both love red wine but have opposite tastes when it comes to white wine. She likes it dry and I like it sweet. The owner recommended we try the Gruner/Resling Vorgeschmack Arndorfer and we both ended up thoroughly enjoying it. In fact, we enjoyed it more than the red wine that we ordered without getting advice from the owner. The owner told us the winery that makes this white wine is owned by a young couple in their twenties in Austria. It is a nice touch to hear details about the wineries. Next time, I will definitely take full advantage of the expert advice and option to sample taste the wine before choosing.

The sommelier is cute, REALLY cute, well-versed in wine, and articulate. The selection helps. But the thing that I found somewhat disappointing, was the sparse, barren, unimaginative décor. It’s sort of like every other wine bar in town. The crowd seems a little unenthusiastic as well. Kind of felt like I was in a book-less library –that just happened to serve wine. Parking was not easy to find either.

ahhh Bricco. my favorite hill-top location for a bottle of wine with a friend. there’s so much to love about Bricco — from their extensive wine list, to their smart entrée’s and small plates(with unique flavor pairings), to the rich wood tones that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. combined, this cozy dining & drinking experience consistently has me staying hours beyond anticipation. did I mention the truffle mac n’ cheese? oh yes, there’s that too. salut!

Bricco Della Regina Anna is one of my favorite neighborhood spots! For awhile I was stopping in once a week, over time you start seeing other«regulars» so whenever I want to feel at home I go to Bricco. I have almost tried everything on the menu, the menu’s main courses seem to change quite often but its perfect for someone who frequents the restaurant often. The STAPLES: Lentil Salad, Mac and Cheese, La tur triple cream and the Mole Salumi meat… I usually order at least one if not all of these things in one sitting:) Other great menu items I’ve tasted are the Fennel Lasagna, Warm Goat Cheese, and there is a Pecan Bruschetta that is savory and sweet very different but great! Its perfect for a date night, lowly lit with candles. It’s great for happy hour as the prices seem rather low for the quality you are recieving. It’s also has a great atmosphere between 10 – 12 which I believe is only Friday and Saturday? They mix up/turn up the music and its perfect for a great late night(for me being 10 – 11) dessert(the Salted Caramel Gelato) and a glass of wine. I give it 5 stars because I feel I can go any day, any time, and in any mood and leave better then when I came in!

Apparently, HH is great, but we went for dinner and food was sub-par and overpriced. One waitress in the entire joint = sloooowwwww. Will never go back.

Bricco is just lovely. I came here with a friend to kill some time on a Saturday evening. The place was only half-full, so we were able to sit around for a few hours and consume a bottle of Australian shiraz and some baguette at our leisure. The décor is great — you can sit by the window and people-watch, sit by the bar for a more social experience or take one of the candle-lit tables if you’re after a more intimate and romantic experience. Our server was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the wines available, and she didn’t hesitate to recommend us a great bottle at our requested price point. We even got to sample a couple before we settled on a full bottle, which is crucial for a wine bar to allow. Bricco definitely hits all the points for a solid five-star experience.

I was absolutely impressed by the food, service and ambiance at this great neighborhood restaurant. A girlfriend and I sat at the bar for a casual late dinner. We were interested in trying a Rose, and the wonderful bartender took the time to go through her reccommendations and let us sample till we found the perfect glass! The bottle we chose wasn’t quite chilled, but no worries she gave us enough to hold us over. My friend loved that they offered half glass pours. The food was amazing! I would reccomend splitting the items so you can try more. Can’t wait to go back!

I had totally forgotten about Bricco, mostly because it has been crappy out and I was too lazy to walk the 5 blocks from our place. I think back then I would have given it four stars. But tonight, it was so gorgeous, and we decided to do the«hike» to the end of the Queen Anne Avenue. It was happy hour, so we scored, but I still couldn’t believe how great the prices were. I had a glass of the 2007 Mindervois Syrah, and all wines are $ 2.00 off at happy hour which I believe is up until 6PM. My guy ordered sauteed black tiger prawns with risotto, and we split the happy hour walnut salad. I had the seared albacore with cucumber, crème fraîche and chive. Yummy! Our bill was only 42.00. We will be going here a lot from now on.

Pricey. Especially the wine. At east in my opinion, but I am spoiled living in Seattle with so many great little vino holes. The food was good, but the flavors were… weird, for lack of a more sophisticated term. It might be the right spot for someone else, but not me, I have found many better places, I likely won’t go back, even if I am in the neighborhood… I’d rather try something less … meh. And chances are good in that neighborhood, there is a gem that I just haven’t found.

We started our meal with a selection of four cheeses(the triple cream is out-of-this-world good) and glasses of wine, followed by the octopus salad and pork tenderloin. All the food was delicious and the atmosphere is great for 2 – 4 person groups.

Yum! Went there with a few girls for our monthly dinner Saturday night and I love this place! The wine selection was amazing, food was delicious and atmosphere cozy and quaint. I only gave 4 stars due to a few small factors… the lady I made the reservation with said I had to be there within 5 minutes of my res or they would give it away… the credit card machine was not working so closing tabs took a bit longer, and the bathroom wasn’t up to par. Will def recommend this place!

A reliably casual, yet subtly sexy Queen Anne bar-resto. Nice happy hour menu with $ 2 off wines and affordable Italian bites. The gigantic green olives are a personal fave. Love the L-shaped bar, great for 90-degree people watching. The service is low-key and friendly, and the vibe is dark, cozy, neighborhoody. As an out-of-towner, you feel like you’ve found a local gem at Bricco. I had the salmon entrée with pesto sauce and white bean purée. It was smaller than I expected — definitely not for sharing if you’re starved — but for $ 14 it was a perfectly well-rounded meal, and super flavorful. My friend had the very intriguing veggie lasagna with fennel, shitakes, and mozzerella. Great winter dish. I never say«no» to a Bricco date.

What a lovely wine bar! I came here for Happy Hour with my girlfriend and was warmly greeted by their one host/bartender/server. We immediately ordered their House White/Red, for only $ 5. Their happy hour menu had a lot of great items on it, but a lot of the ingredients we weren’t familiar with. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave us really good suggestions. We ordered their Pesto Bruschetta and the Grilled Cheese with truffle oil. The atmosphere is very intimate, low-lighting, not crowded seating, a modern décor and very chill music. There is also a huge wine cellar in the back. I would have to agree with Ryan B.‘s review about there not being great ventilation because towards the end of our meal my eyes were irritated from the smoke in the kitchen. That issue should definitely be addressed. Overall, though, a very classy and romantic wine bar in Seattle. It’s a great place for HH with your girlfriends or an intimate evening with your loved one.

I really want to like this place. The décor and atmosphere are all fine, and the food is ok. I’ve been twice now and I want to like it, but I just can’t. THIS restaurant has a serious ventilation problem. This place stinks, like smells like burnt oil. Through osmosis your cloths will stink, and consequently your house will as well. I’ve always like the open kitchen idea, but Bricco has not been able to figure it out.

Love Love Love Bricco! It looks unassuming from the outside, but the second you walk in you feel instantly wrapped in warmth in a beautiful surrounding. Its a smaller restaurant, but cozy at the same time. I have only been for happy hour, but it has become my go to happy hour on Queen Anne, especially when I feel the need to impress someone. They have a great selection of flat breads and the wine list is quite extensive. They usually have a nightly selection of cheeses as well(which is worth it, no matter what price). Check it out — you’ll want to come back. PS — the grilled cheese is amazing!

Very gourmet menu with good happy hour food prices. It’s a little expensive for non-happy hour food, but a nice place if you want to dine and drink in style. The service was helpful and kind, but I felt a little slow at times. The dining area feel intimate, maybe because it’s a small place. I really enjoyed the farmer’s market special of pork stuffed zucchini flowers that were deep fried. Very unique. Lots of street parking.

I still think Bricco has an amazing ambience, still very sexy. Love it! I’ve been here atleast three times; once on a first date, once with a friend, and once with a Mr. Priestley.(Between you and me, the Priestley man is hot stuff!!) Do you want to know why Bricco is so great? They have this amazing wine that puts you in a perfect cozy mood. The setting is dim and there’s a lot of rich, dark wood. Their menu consists of delectable treats like olives, bruschetta and crostini, cheese plates, salumi, and other charcuterie as well as entrees in the $ 16 – 20 range. Perfect for a date night!

Definitely a place to go after a hard days work. Have a seat at the bar, order some wine and let the stress ooze off. The cheese plate is gorgeous and is worth a try if you’re a cheese foodie. Happy hour can make this small place feel that much smaller because it gets busy but not too crowded, it usually brings in a fun crowd. If you’re like me, you go to wine bars because you like wine and you like having someone who knows a thing or two about picking out the right one. The servers have good knowledge and will tell you which wine is preferred and it’s not because of price it’s because of flavor or good pairing. P. S. It’s a great place for a date

Disappointment. Disappointment is when you come to your favourite cheese & wine place in town and… and it’s not the same it used to be. Instead of the long cheese menu I saw only a choice of three cheeses. Three. T-h-r-e-e. The tiny, cheese starving mouse in me got angry. And disappointed. Disappointment is when you are used to amazing food in your favourite cheese & wine place and it’s not there. Disappointing. And when you trust the owners and optimistically order food, they bring you disappointment in your plate. Just take the seventeen dollar chicken off the menu, seriously. It’s embarrassing. That chicken is used to be served in a generic chain restaurant for 10 dollars. It feels truly uncomfortable in your place. *long sigh* Disappointment.

Moving back to Seattle, I was very happy to see a number of new wine bars, and Bricco is definitely one of the best of the bunch. The space is fairly small, but our party of three found a spot at the bar quickly. The high ceilings, large windows, dim lights, and dark woods, gives this place a sophisticated urban vibe, with a full room of people enjoying the evening. The wine list focuses on bottles from Italy and the Northwest, while the wines by the glass list has many choices from France and Italy. I’m about a huge fan of WA state wines, but it was good to see some nice choices from the Old World for a change of pace. Although Bricco serves a full dinner, our party stuck to wine, meats, and cheese, and we were not disappointed. The menu has about 30 different types of cheese, including some of my faves like Humboldt fog, sottocenere, truffle tremor and comte. The selection of salami was also impressive including a number of choices from Salumi. I was happy to see they had culatello, although I prefer to have it sliced paper thin like at Lark. Overall, Bricco is a great place where wine, food, atmosphere, and service all come together. Now, only if they would open a location in South Lake Union…
