Drinks are good. I usually get black milk tea or Thai tea. This specific visit, I ordered a Thai tea and a Taro Snow with lychee jelly for my dad. Wait time is pretty short, five min max, even with 4 – 5 people in front of me. First my Thai tea came out and then the taro shortly after, except it had tapioca instead of lychee. After pointing it out, they quickly started to remake my drink. A moment later, they told me that they had run out of lychee, wah. This was around 4pm. I asked for their next popular jelly, which they said was rainbow jelly. I was in and out of there in perhaps 10 min. My Thai tea was good. Not sure if they let you customize ice level, in which case I would have asked for less. I think they let you choose sweetness level though because I heard a drink being called out as half-sweet. Anyways, my dad said the taro was good, too, but the rainbow jelly was flavorless. Not sure what it’s supposed to taste like though. I’ve only ever tried the popcorn chicken here once, but I would say the drinks are better than the food. Overall, solid place for good bubble tea. Lots of seating for hanging out as well. Remember to ask for a stamp card. Mondays are double stamp days!

Awesome décor and clean aesthetic that fits right at home in Capitol Hill. I just ordered my first Taro Milk Tea there today and it was so good. It tasted FRESH, which is not a common reaction I have when I order Taro, but it was. xD xD The milk tea was purple and I got a purple straw to match. It was magical…

I love this place! Will come back all the time! Thank the lord that oasis opened up a location near Seattle U. ID location is the best in my opinion but I can see this place being a hit for college students around the area! The atmosphere of the place is very much like ID but I can see the unique twist it has being in the heart of Capitol Hill. Getting jasmine milk tea here was just like the International District location. Very consistent recipes. I hope that they food at this location soon! I liked getting the popcorn chicken from the international district location. Only flaw.

This is a really nice place to hang out when you have a large group of friends. The price is fairly cheap(but then again all bubble tea stores charge about the same amount). I think that the bubble tea has decent flavor, but oasis is mainly a hang out spot, and it’s great especially since they have semi-comfortable furniture and they don’t micromanage your time spent there. Definitely the go-to spot for hanging out!

I like to come here when I’m meeting with more than 3 people because they have two levels here. But the owner lady is kinda mean, she doesn’t smile and when she takes your order there is this tension in the air O_O Also, they never pick up their phone. Recently, I called to place an order because I only had a 15-minute break at work but they hung up on me and so I decided to go there to order and there were 3 people working and no one in line. I think the drinks at the Chinatown location are so much better.

I loooove Oasis! :) This is hands down the best bubble tea on the Ave. They have such a wide variety of drinks, including slushes, which I get on hot, sunny summer Seattle days. The café itself is pretty loud, so I usually take my bubble tea to go. Definitely ask for a punch card!

Tonight I stopped by and ordered a lavender milk tea with boba and pudding. I got water with creamer and a table spoon of boba and pudding and the cup was filled 2⁄3 of ice.(Waste of $ 4) The girl who made my drink was probably new but at least give a generous amount of boba and pudding and train them more. If you want better service go to the Oasis in china town.

Decent bubble tea and slight cheaper price than other bubble tea places. Always have seating because they have 2 floors and have board games.

Above average tea with above average hours! If you’re looking for a great place to study or just hang out the atmosphere here is great. They have more board games then most bubble tea places, even with cars against humanity! I got honeydew melon tea which was pretty good. Unfortunately lost my wallet in the area and they didn’t pick up their phones for 3 days until I just gave up.

It was a Sunday night, and my family really wanted some popcorn chicken and drinks from Oasis. The one in Chinatown was super packed, so we decided to run to the one on the Ave. I always tried to call ahead because I usually place a big order of the popcorn chicken. I called them once or twice on the way there but no one picked up. When I got there, there were no customers. I was able to order right away. The drinks came out super amazing. I ask for suggestions for kids, and the guy suggested mango slush. I had a sip before I gave to my daughters, and I fell in love with it. It has real mango pieces in there. And the texture just makes it so fun to drink. My daughters loved it too. The popcorn chicken was cooked to perfection, which really surprised me because the past 4 – 5 times that I had purchased from the Chinatown one, the chicken pieces were all burnt. I still liked the way it taste, but I would’ve rather it not be burnt. The university village one made it so perfect. It makes me really wish that I lived closer to that one instead. So about my minus 1 star, when I had asked about why they didn’t pick up the phone just 5 minutes before I got in to the store, they said they didn’t hear the phone ring. And then they looked at each other, as if they knew of an inside joke that I didn’t, that they know a secret about the phones that I didn’t. It made me very uncomfortable. There are a lot of ways to explain to me why you didn’t pick up the phone, instead of making me feel like I’m not cool enough for you guys to pick up your phone for.

My royal tea drink was fine. The 2 stars is for the customer service as far as catering to the customers. I was with my boyfriend and he didn’t like the drink that he ordered(the ginger milk tea here does not taste like the one at Kung Fu Tea) Being that it was our first time here, we were unfamiliar with the drinks. I expressed this to the crew, they were nice and said sorry… but that was it. I’m used to better services where a new drink is offered. Here visiting, will not be coming back here.

This place is okay, but not amazing. Their WiFi is a bit spotty at times too, so it’s not an ideal place to study if you need to stay connected. I got their lavender milk tea with 50% sugar and it’s not bad, but it’s not something I’d get all the time either. This place kind of reminds me of a TapEx or Lollicup back in California. The prices aren’t too bad, about $ 3 for a drink, and they have a stamp card and you get double stamps if you’re a student on one of the weekdays. One thing though is that I wish they had ketchup on the side so I could stop asking them for ketchup packets.

In short: long wait and bad food despite cheerful service and large portions drops two stars from my review. I’ve drank bubble tea practically since birth and oasis was a disappointment despite its amazing recommendation from my friend. I went to this place because my friend who works at a tea shop herself said«I wish my shop was this good!» It did not live up to its reputation. Ordered jasmine milk green tea with rainbow jelly and the popcorn chicken meal. The drink was syrupy and half the cup they gave me was ice! Too much milk was added and there was a bad aftertaste to the tea. There was not enough rainbow jelly in my drink. It was rather watery and subpar to what I was hoping for. They charged me around $ 5 for that cup of ice and I had to wait 10 minutes for it. Popcorn chicken meal was portioned well and generously but the actual food was pretty horrible. The popcorn chicken was not seasoned prior to being cooked and thus the cook decided to dump a load of salt and pepper on top after. Seasoning was totally uneven as half the chicken was covered in nasty and the rest was bland and dry. The rice was cooked well but the minced beef on top was probably bad, oversalted taco meat. The egg was a bit cold and there was no flavor. The part I did like was the steamed broccoli that came with the meal. Only a few pieces, not seasoned, but at least they were cooked right. The sour sauce that came with the meal was straight out of a bottle and completely unappetizing. I did not finish the meal. I paid about $ 10 for this meal and it took 15 minutes. Not worth it at all. The upside is the location, free WiFi, and the seating. They have fans(I think) and nice areas to sit and chat. The service was slow despite us being the only ones who had ordered food… there were only 5 other people inside besides us and they had only ordered drinks. The cashier was pleasant though and welcoming. In all, a bit of a disappointment. Overpriced, not many food options, bad food, but slow but good service. Would not come here again.

Tea itself is like a 3, but service and accommodations really put it as a 4, and the fact that this is one of handful of decent boba shops up here, I’m inclined to say it deserves its reputation. The drinks are hella sweet and I want to know what milk and cream they use. Either that did they make their pudding out of rotten eggs? I have never had a worst experience with a snow/smoothie before. I’m not lactose intolerant or with a very sensitive stomach, but I felt like barfing after a few hours! Anyways got a matcha snow from here. Pretty aiight, i tasted more sugar than tea if anything. But I’d come back for more that’s for sure. I think it was like $ 3 something. Works for me. If you’re a boba addict like me, I would rate Oasis as around below-average a typical Californian boba shop but above something like Chatime and Quickly.

They have good bubble tea, fast service, plenty of seating, and a relatively nice location. What else could you possibly want from a bubble tea place? This place does what it’s here for.

Best Bubble Tea place in the U District. Every time I’ve been here, the staff was super friendly and they made my bubble tea very quickly, even despite being busy! Also, I’ve found that on average the bubble tea here tends to be around $ 1 cheaper than nearby locations. Some other nice features include an upstairs area(with board games) and a bunch of couches. Seating and noise level here is generally not a problem. Great location for hanging out with friends or just getting a quick treat while studying. :)

Oasis is great for satiating a bubble tea craving quickly, but there’s nothing really special about it apart from the price/variety. Like most bubble tea places, Oasis uses artificial flavoring(unless it’s otherwise advertised) so it’s pretty average. However, I will say that their Fresh Kiwi Slush is actually pretty good – good enough to stray from my usual Thai Iced Tea /Pineapple Slush. The space is also pretty cool if you want to sit and chat with friends while sipping your bubble tea, they seem to have a lot of board games and such.

Oasis is definitely my go to spot when I am craving a cold slush. Compared to all the other places that sell milk tea on the ave, I am pretty sure that Oasis is the only one that does slushes right(some of the other places don’t even sell slushes). I personally love that they blend the slushes to be thick, cold, and icy yet still manage to be pretty smooth and consistent throughout. My personal favorite is the kiwi slush, which is only offered as the kiwi season begins. It’s fresh kiwis so it has a burst of natural flavor in the slush. Because it is a «special» and a «fresh fruit» slush, the price does increase up to about $ 4. However, I think the extra price is worth it if you are a kiwi fan. I’m also a pretty big fan of their mango slush. When it comes to the slushes on the menu, I’m not entirely confident on how many of them are coming from natural fruits. The mango slush tastes pretty sweet and good, but because it’s offered year round, I’m not sure if it’s 100% natural. However, it doesn’t taste super artificial or anything. On the other hand, the apple slush is completely artificial. I saw them make it and it was coming from green apple flavoring. This gives the slush the sour apple taste. The slush is entirely a vivid, bright green which just emphasizes that it’s no where near natural. Although it gives it that strong sour apple taste, I’m not a huge fan of how fake it tastes. Still, it’s not the worst, but, I don’t think I would get it again. Moving on to their milk teas. I think they do a pretty good job on their milk teas, although Yunnies is still probably my go to when it comes to milk tea. They offer honey milk tea, which is one of their most popular ones. Honey milk tea is one of the rarer flavors that I don’t see at all bubble tea places so it’s nice that Oasis offers this one. You’ll have to check their full list of milk teas because they have ones that other places don’t have, and the vise versa is true for other bubble tea places. The honey milk tea has the perfect amount of sweetness and that light touch of honey flavor to it. I like mine with lychee jelly. They also now offer mini boba, which I personally have not tried, but still think it would be kinda cute and fun to try. Oasis has two floors so there is a good amount of seating. They are open late like most bubble tea places, however, Oasis tops the others by an hour. On Friday and Saturday they are actually open until 1 am(it says midnight on Unilocal but their actual hours on the door specify that they are open until 1). Oasis also sells snack food like popcorn chicken and desserts waffles. They also sell shaved ice(some people may know it as patbingsoo). This is the only place nearby that I know that sells shaved ice, but it’s hard to come across a place that has perfect shaved ice. There are enough workers working here that drinks come out quickly(and at night they have quite a few workers too). There is no minimum amount for debit card use — which is great since Meesum and Yunnies both have a minimum amount. They also have the stamp card where you order 10 drinks and get your next one free which is useful if you drink a lot of milk tea. Overall, for the slushes, this is the place to go.
