Hands down best Teriyaki in Seattle(so far)… If anything, this place is a go-to. I always order Chicken Teriyaki w/Brown Rice and sauce on the side. #gainz

My husband wasn’t a super big fan of the chicken teriyaki, but I thought it was tasty(and very comparable to other teriyakis out there). We both got the«small» bento box with california rolls, salad, gyoza, teriyaki and rice — $ 11.99 each — and it was so much food! Plus the service was speedy quick. Sure it’s not gourmet, but there’s always a time and a place for simple, quick and yummy.

Just tried this because it’s next to the dry cleaner. Very tender and juicy chicken teriyaki, also tried the beef teriyaki and the gyoza. Giant-sized portions of really good teriyaki, even the rice was fresh tasting with an excellent texture. Didn’t know that teriyaki could be this good. Will be back soon!

Came for lunch. Ordered miso soup and a #1 chix teriyaki. Miso soup was forgotten wasnt made. Had to wait for them to make some. The soup itself was bland since ive had much better. i like it strong and just good tasting. The chicken teriyaki was ok. The lady was rude and didnt ask what i wanted about 3 mins after standing in front of the register

I’m from Los Angeles and as I visited Seattle, I have not seen so many Teriyaki joints in my life. I stayed in Seattle for a year and tried as much food as possible. Nori Presto is one of the best ones I’ve gotten to eat at(and I have eaten here at least ten times). Every time I go to this restaurant it is 1. very busy and 2. always delicious. They have a few dishes that I haven’t seen before in other restaurants like the SESAMETOFU which is outstanding and their version of the Orange Chicken and General Tso’s Chicken is amazing. The best part, of course, is the amount of food you get per order. I don’t see how anyone can finish their plate. If I were to recommend anything though… their Mongolian Beef is so damn good along with their Spicy Chicken Teriyaki. The restaurant is owned by a nice Korean family and they are always welcoming to everyone and it does bring a smile to my face seeing the lady in the front always being so joyous. It is a well kept restaurant though you can’t really avoid the fact when you open the door. bugs will fly in but that’s literally something the restaurant owners can’t do anything about except bug spray the crap out of them when no one is eating! Check this place out! YUM!

My favorite local teriyaki joint. I get the large chicken teriyaki, the girlfriend gets some combo depending on what she’s feeling like that day. I asked for extra sauce one day and the lady just gave me the bottle! Food it awesome. $ 20 that gets us 4 or 5 quality meals is totally worth it. The service is amazingly quick even when I dont call ahead. Under 10 minutes in and out when its busy. My girlfriend tells me the in house miso is amazing, I wouldn’t know I’m not a miso person. Nothing is too salty, everything seems fresh and well prepared. Only complaint I have ever had was when their Pepsi machine was out of syrup. They refunded the cost of the drink and gave me a 20oz bottle to take home. Really wonderful place.

Good food and great portions here! The only complaint I have is for dining in. I brought my family in and was directed to sit in the front near some less than desirable guests. I asked to go to the back area to get my kids away from the foul language but was denied. Poor form. 5 for food and a 1 for service.

Review of nori teriyaki: Nori? More like NO-RETURN. Walking in, I am greeted by a middle-aged lady who clearly would rather be scooping her dog’s waste than running a restaurant. That fake smile almost snarling through a dark frown is usually a dead giveaway. Maybe she’s concentrating on something? Maybe she’s having a bad day? Who knows. I order my food and try to find a decently clean table that’s been recently wiped… None found, I just sit at the corner of the least filthy table. Good thing I ordered takeout… Looking around the general disorganization around the FOH, I begin to wonder just how messy is the BOH? Shutter. Food’s ready! Skeptical, I open my box and take a nibble… Decent salad. Teriyaki Chicken: chewy and salty. How old is this chicken? Orange Chicken: flavorless, dull, soggy, chewy. QA Bueller? I couldn’t get through even half of the $ 10 meal without deciding I need to ask for my money back. I take the unfinished slop to the cashier and tell her straight up, «this chicken is salty and chewy; the other chicken is flavorless.» She replies«So what do you want?» with contempt. I am a bit flabbergasted, yet not entirely surprised. «At the very least we can split the cost because I am returning more than half the food.» I think that’s more than generous on my part. She huffs and huffs and pretends to not understand. After repeating myself five times she’s hands me five back and retorts«this is how our food is.» I wish her good luck and gtfo. Pardon my French. How did this place get four stars??? Talk about self righteous. It sure is odd to me when a restaurant-owner takes pride in their food but is shocked when I explain specifically what’s wrong with it. G. Ramsay, here’s a kitchen nightmare for you. If you’re looking for salty, chewy, flavorless chicken with somewhat dingy atmosphere and bitter service, boy have you hit the jackpot! I have a headache from the salty chicken and sheer confusion. Godspeed, Nori. I’ll be back when the chicken is as fresh as her attitude.

Really really good teriyaki. They have brown rice as an option for a buck and I’m happy to pay it. I usually get a large chicken teriyaki and that’s enough for dinner and lunch the next day. They have Chinese food there as well. I’ve never tried it but it’s there for ya. The lady who runs the front of the house is super sweet and has never messed up my order. The food comes out pretty quick. The sauce is thick, sweet and kinda salty. It’s very good. My favorite thing about the place is it’s consistency. I’ve been there when it’s busy and again when it’s dead and the service and quality never wavers. They’re a bit pricier than others but not bad.

By far my favorite teriyaki place in Northgate. To start off, the staff is very nice, always recognizes us with smiles. There’s also complementary miso soup and tea for those who are waiting for their food. For me, the best part are the food portions! They are huge where when I order to go the top can barely stay shut! The food tastes great and we always return satisfied.

One of my favorite Japanese places! I love their bento and free miso soup is reason enough to go. The owner is a very nice Japanese woman and she has always treated my family well. Service is quick and portions are good value.

I now have rather high standards for teriyaki now that I am obsessed with Nasai Teriyaki on 145th. Nori Presto was fine and did the job, but it just wasn’t outstanding. The teriyaki sauce was thicker than what I’m used to, and the spicy chicken teriyaki was not spicy at all. However, the BF’s katsu was delicious and very well coated with Panko. This place is run by a super sweet lady who was very accommodating even when we came in half an hour to closing, and pointed out that there was free miso soup if you dine in.

Yum! Finally tried out Nori for dinner a few days ago and found myself pleased with the outcome. I ordered their special orange and teriyaki chicken with brown rice. It was delicious and was enough for two meals! Watch out for the extra charges though, they will add on 50 cents for extra salad dressing or teriyaki sauce and an extra dollar for brown rice. I ordered to go, but did see their free miso soup. I look forward to trying it the next time!

I come here at least twice a week for a reason. Amazing taste with a great value. Portions are perfect for meal times. Owners are very polite and kind. There’s even complementary miso soup while you wait. Wait times are generally about 10 minutes(up to 20 if they’re slammed, just call your order in if you’re rushing) but food is served piping hot I can make it home and its still steaming like it’s fresh of the grill. The Large Bento Box is perfect if you’re really hungry and has a good selection/variety of what’s on the menu. The combo plates offer the best value and the beef teriyaki is delicious. If you’re ever in Northgate/Pinehurst definitely pay Nori Presto a visit!

This place is simply the best teriyaki I have ever had. I have been coming here since 2007 when I was in high school, and it has ATLEAST maintained its quality over the years(and probably gotten better). I always get their spicy chicken, which is their best offering(according to none other than me). It is tender, hot, and the perfect amount of spicy. It also doesn’t taste like Korean, or any other kind, of barbecue, unlike many other teriyaki places’ spicy chicken. Then there’s the owner and her husband. They have kept the place humming along, and have only made the interior more pleasant over the years. She is one of the most friendly people I have ever met, and has always greeted me with a large smile and a loud hello from behind the register. Must try if you’re a teriyaki person. I also forgot to mention that their teriyaki sauce(in a bottle on every table) is FANTASTIC on rice, and their salad dressing is great as well(my friend always gets extra to put on his rice)

I was out test driving a 1984 vw diesel rabbit with my mom, my sister and my girlfriend. I wanted to test its weight capacity and how it drove with a full load. It seemed to drive fine, but, what if we all ate some chinese/teriyaki and then drove around a bit. Well, a quick search on the Unilocal app and this spot came up as not far from us, so we puttered over and ordered our food. The coolest thing about this place is the«help yourself» miso soup. And boy was it tasty! The lady helping us was super helpful and we all had our food quickly. The food itself was awesome and the helpings were plentiful. Which is a good thing, my goal here was to really make sure this car could handle a full car load of people with full stomachs. So we all finished up and then got back on the road. The car seemed fine and everyone seemed to think the food was great. Woohoo, thanks Unilocal reviewers, another win!

Nori Presto is alright. The people working here are nice and you get good portions and a bang for your buck. I got the small bento box for $ 11 plus tax which is not small at all. It included a generous portion of chicken teriyaki, 8 piece California roll, 3 pieces of gyoza, and a small side salad. While the chicken wasn’t fatty the flavor tasted a tad off to me to me which is why I can’t quite give them 4 stars. I’m not sure if it was the chicken or the sauce but I think it was the chicken. I had been curious about this place for a long time and am glad I finally tried them. It’s a fine, serviceable teriyaki joint which is nice enough to dine in.
