We had just come from the airport and basically just looked for something that was still open at 11. What an awesome coincidence! Great food, superb service and all of that in a very nice cozy atmosphere. From our table we had an incredible view of the waterfront. It was just perfect!

I’m intrigued this place only rates at 3.5. I tried it for it’s proximity to the hotel and was pleasantly surprised. If you get the table in the back of the dinning area the view is very pretty. Dinner was a take on the classic Linguine Carbonara. It was well executed and very tasty, not to mention filling. None the less, I had the Cardamom ice cream which is made it house. It was far too much, but I ate it all. Delicious. Reading through the complainers, most seem to be on about the service. To be transparent, I was there when it was fairly slow. Probably why I scored the sweet table. I digress, the waitress was prompt, efficient and very knowledgable. With the bill, was a survey card. Here’s hoping they sort things out and are here for my next trip to Seattle.

A jolly jaunt across the courtyard from the door at The Inn At The Market will find you in the lovely little Marché. Tres adorable. The BF and I posted up for a start the vacation off right cocktail. Now normally when a staff member at a restaurant makes a mistake it can ending up in a lower star rating but not this time! The bartender accidentally put the wrong juice in my order the first time, ending up in an extra mimosa, tragic hu? Not for moi! I ended up double fisting that fancy steam and it was a pretty fantastic afternoon start! It’s cozy and there is several different seating options-a more formal dining room, the bar counters and tall tables, and some loungey couches. I imagine a rainy Seattle evening could be passed here rather delightfully. The wine list was interesting and the menu looked good-we didn’t stay and eat this time but look forward to it the next. Not my favorite cozy hole in town, but a win for sure.

Saturday night, pretty wild everywhere in the area, when suddenly my date and I stumbled upon this adorable and comfortably mellow-looking place! We got there just around 9:45 for a glass of wine only to find out they have an amazing late night happy hour from 10−11pm. 2 dollar Oysters which seems to be quite the steal in this city! Wonderful wine selection, super helpful bartender(we sat at the bar), and a really nice presentation with each item ordered. Will definitely be back for dinner on a someday. They also have Oyster Sundays where all oysters are 1.25 each. I’m freaking out just writing this! I know where I’ll be on Sundays!

This place has my favorite brunch ever! Atmosphere is so cute and slightly country-French/Parisian with a great view of either Pike Place Market or their outdoor garden. Food is wonderful — French press coffee, golden crushed potatoes, and baguettes with honey and butter — All to die for. I’ve tried everything on their menu and it’s all light, local and delicious — even the huge portion of sausage. Seattle’s best kept secret, It’s never too crowded to be seated! Love this place!

This place was just ok for me. It’s in a cute little area of the market and they have nice courtyard style seating out front. I went on a weeknight and while the bar seemed to be fairly steady, the restaurant side was completely empty. From 6:45pm when we were seated until 10pm when we left we were the only table… not sure if it was just due to the fact that it was a weeknight or what was going on with that. The service was ok. the waiter was cordial and did explain things when we had questions but in general he just seemed a little annoyed to be there. Then again, I might be to if I had to work all night and only had one table I was banking on for tips. I didn’t find the menu to have very much selection. Our table had a couple appetizers all of which to me were just ok. For my main dish I was going to go for the roasted chicken, but when I placed my order the waiter told me that it would be around a 45 min cook time, so I didn’t end up getting it. It would’ve been nice if that was something they could note on their menu. I settled for the mint linguine minus the poached egg. I thought the portion was just right and thought the dish as a whole was pretty good. We ordered a couple desserts to share and the beignets wereI tasty. Overall, I just found the whole experience a little underwhelming and wasn’t one to add to my list of «must come back here»

I’m a fan. I recently went here for the first time and had a great meal. During summer they are a lovely outdoor sitting area and an upscale indoor area year around. The food and drinks were all quite good. The menu is small — just the way I like it. Enjoy

The service here or lack there of was beyond awful! We booked for a party of 5 on a Friday night at 8:15. Arrived on time. The place was busy but there wasn’t a wait and it’s not a very big place to begin with so I am a little unsure as to what the problem was. We waited 20 minutes for a server to even acknowledge us and that was only after I had to get up and go and ask the hostess if we had one. When our waiter arrived, he appeared very flustered. I almost felt like him waiting on us was an inconvenience for him. I felt like I had to hurry to even order a drink. First round of drinks took another 15 to 20 minutes. I ordered some appetizers which came in a decent amount of time. However when I told our waiter we were ready to order our main courses, again flustered, he told me to hold on and walked off. We ordered our main courses and a nice bottle of wine. Our water was constantly refilled by a multitude of different employees. We were never once asked if we wanted more drinks or another bottle of wine once it was empty. Coming from a table of wine drinkers, this was extremely irritating. I thought servers were supposed to try to increase the bill to therefore increase their tip? Our main courses took an hour to arrive. The staffs excuse was that the«chicken takes 30 minutes to cook.» Food was good. That’s about the only positive I can think of regarding this place. Horrible service and 250 bucks later, we were not happy campers.

Frites(ordered crispy) with the malt vinegar aioli are killer. Everything else was just okay, mostly because the flavors literally hit you over the head without any subtlety. Service was great(bartender) — sat outside in the courtyard for an early dinner and enjoyed the fountain. The ramp linguine with toasted pine nuts, parmesan and a poached duck egg was swimming in sauce, and the sauce itself was so strong(despite the cheese and the runny egg yolk) that it’s still with me hours after having eaten it(even after trying to kill it by eating bread and chocolate). I have eaten ramps(Spring wild onions) before and know they have a strong taste(which I like) … but most other preparations I’ve had have either used ingredients or techniques which tone down the heat and taste a bit. The pasta was well-cooked. My husband’s hamburger was perfectly cooked to medium-rare. He really enjoyed the meat and cheese(Cantalet), but found the pickled pepper marmalade to overwhelm the meal with a cloying sweetness. The 3 pepper relish on the burger at Local 360 is much better. He’ll order it without the marmalade next time. Had the flavors not been so overly bold, this would be a 4 star review. We’ll be back and try other dishes.

This was a good experience with some excellent points, and some not so much. The limitations seem to be in the training of the staff. The hostess was great, attentive, and ensured even with her regular trips through the dining room that we had what we needed, even if this wasn’t really her job. The waitress was efficient, refilled wine and water glasses and cleared the tables promptly. We didn’t get the impression that she particularly wanted to be there, but it was okay. The sommelier(bartender?) who brought our bottle of Pinot Grigio presented it well, but didn’t have a container for the open wine to sit to stay chilled. Warm Pinot Grigio is not as good, an hour into the meal, as chilled Pinot Grigio. It’s just the way it is! The food selection from the Prix Fixe menu was very nice and the coffee with dessert was wonderful.

*Save your money for any other bar/restaurant in Seattle that has the smarts to NOT hire Phred the ebullient horribly mean bartender that revels in treating people like idiots *Just when I thought he would move low and behold he’s back being a jerk as usual *First and last time I will visit Marche, I hope they flush this guy out soon, I might return. Yikes.

I love the décor and views from this location. you can see the twinkling lights of post alley on one end and the ferris wheel on the other. It’s great for drinks and light fare. I met up with my friend and we had the following: –farmer’s board: morbier cheese, sliced cured meats, house bread, house-made pickles 10. –Sherry Roasted Beets yogurt & pistachio aillade 9. I loved my Beet Salad. It was full of flavor– much more intense than the type you pick up at whole foods. I couldn’t see the color since it was pretty dark inside the restaurant but the beet had been soaked and topped with a light pistachio yogurt that complimented the richness of the beets. The food here is executed in nice fashion and care. one of my fav french places in Seattle.

We hit this place up for a holiday dinner with friends. It is a very cool restaurant with fun views of the Market and the waterfront. We were warmly greeted by the staff and quickly shown to our table. Our server took our drink orders within a few minutes of us sitting down and then came the wait. It took 20+ minutes to get them; this worried me about what was to come because it was not busy. Once the drinks arrived the service picked up and the rest of the night went off with very few problems. We started out with a couple ounces of the Camembert, the pork shank terrine, house pickles, Salad Verte and frites. Everything was sharable for a table of 6. The cheese was outstanding; stinky and creamy. The terrine was so good we ordered another plate. It was a very generous portion with pickled items, mustard and grilled bread. It was fatty and luxurious. The pickles were not what we expected. They were not pickles, but pickled vegetables and fruit. This was not a problem because everything was so good. The surprises were the pickled cherries and citrus fruit(at least that what we thought they were). The pickled beets were outstanding! More of these came out with the second order of terrine. The salad was simply dress with a bright, fresh taste. Everyone at the table got a generous portion. The frites were crisp and full of potato flavor. I ordered the mussels and frites. My wife got the omelet. The mussels were generously portioned. There were big hunks of bacon in the broth. The broth had a bright vinegar flavor that complemented the meaty mussels which were perfectly cooked. The omelet was everything you would want in a French omelet; creamy and soft with the right amount of filling. One of our friends ordered the roast chicken. It was a generous portion of meat. I did not taste it, but it got pretty good reviews. The potatoes it was served with were not a hit. Another friend ordered the bouillabaisse. It was very good, but confusing to eat. No one at the table had ever had it and we all had confused looks. The seafood was served on one plate and the plate next to it contained a bowl of the broth, toast points, and two types of aioli; our sever had to come back and explain the process. Another dish that came out was Marche’s version of puttenesca. It was very salty and had to be returned for a different dish, another omelet. When we were leaving I heard another couple complaining about the salt. My wife and I ended the night with a plate of cookies. They were all delicious, not too sweet and a perfect end to the night. The others sampled the pots de crème and the cognac chocolate mousse. Marche has a great wine selection of bottles and by the glass. It is a manageable size, you don’t need all night to read it, and it has a great selection for any budget. Our server was very good. She made great recommendations for food and wine. This was a great night. Marche is perfect for a romantic date or a small group(no more than 8). There is even a small seating area at the bar if you want a drink and a small bite.

What a pleasant way to unwind after a very long and exhausting day. Beautiful view of the waterfront, excellent wine selection, tasty tomato confiture and olive oil to snack on. On weeknights, I’m sure this place is quite pleasant. I tried carrying conversation with my colleague and succeeded for an hour until the party table next to us decided to be a bit shout-y. But even obnoxious, drunk, middle-aged women can’t ruin this place. We had a manager personally seat and stop by a few times during our drinks. Service was flawless, which is impressive, with such a large party right next to us and minimal staff working. As stated, the wine selection was spot-on. I tried a very beautiful and rustic Malbec and the oh so fruity and floral Vinsobres(which was my favorite– especially with the confiture). Such a pleasant evening and pleasant way to spend my last evening in Seattle.

Tucked in the corner of Pike and Post, overlooking Pike Place Market is the lovely Marché! Locals flock here for the wine but we were attracted to the French Menu! Marchés menu provides you with quality over quantity, which was nice. We were able to quickly decide on a variety of Tapas and an Entrée. 1. Gizzards 2. Tongue, Pâté and Terrine 3. Anchovy Pasta (photos included) The gizzards were good but I don’t recommend them as a must try. The Tapas on the other hand, YUM! The tongue had a nice texture and paired well with the pâté! My Fiancé was a fan of the terrine but I thought it was just ok. The tongue and pâté stole the show! I’d highly recommend you try all three. Individually just wont do it justice! Together made it that much better! Anchovy Pasta was a little on the salty side but that was expected! It was still amazing and I’d definitely order it again! Marché is a great place for large groups or small, date night, lunch meetings, everday meal or just visiting.

If you’re looking for great food in an even better location, almost nothing can beat an experience at Marche. So glad to have eaten here on Bastille Day and enjoyed the festivities. Good for large groups, small groups, dates or just regular meals, this is a must-try Seattle restaurant.

Had an excellent brunch here with my girlfriend. Fantastic service by Cameron and the rest of the staff. We ordered the duck liver pâté to start — excellent presentation, deliciously creamy, but lacked enough crostinis(which they happily refilled upon request). The classic cigar omelette was just perfectly prepared, fluffy egg together with a well paired cheese. Absolutely divine. The other dish we shared was the shakshuka egg, which was just okay to me(wasn’t crazy about the flavor) and the egg was slightly overdone. If you care about ambience, the location in Pike Place makes it vibrant, and the view is spectacular.

Went here later in the evening and was craving something French ;) Atmosphere here was quiet and intimate. Good wine selection and tasty appetizers. I ordered some kind of braised beef dish which was server on top of toast and had a fried egg on it. Looked really cool(see pics). The beef however was tender but really dry. I thought there could have been a lot of potential there. Anyhow I may go back if I’m in the area and the other places are closed.

What I loved about this place: 1) Location(in the heart of the market) 2) The Ambiance and Feel 3) The Bar and lounge side and the restaurant side 4) The friendly staff 5) The Oysters and the Leek and Tomato Tart What was just okay: 1) Most of the menu 2 The taste of the food Why I will go back: Because it is a great location with a nice feel and vibe inside and a good staff. Hoping they will change up the menu and bring some vitality to the otherwise somewhat bland selection.

Marche, we had a slow start, you and me. But I’m glad that I kept creeping around. I had to believe that the restaurant that replaced Campagne was going to be a winner. I’ve been in a couple of times now; the first time, they had just opened and I wasn’t blown away by anything. The second time was much better(and we came during SRW, which can sometimes be an unreliable time to try out a place). I preferred the old décor of Campagne to Marche; it’s minimalist and doesn’t have that romantic thing that their predecessor had. Oh well. The small space has lovely views in the dining area and the food is very good. I started with the recommended eggplant nestled on a thick sour cream. It was surprisingly delicious; the sour cream was particulary sour and refreshing, which balanced the savory, almost meaty eggplant. Great overall combined flavors and cleansed up my palate for the mussels that came next. The mussels were dry-roasted and retained an enormous amount of flavor. I really did enjoy them but a little part of me missed dunking bread into some kind of shellfish nectar. Served with frites, they’re the small, short kind – not my favorite. Dessert was the most interesting I’ve had in a while. It was a sticky rice over a spiced apple anglaise of sorts. Sprinkled with pomegranates, and topped with a small palmier. I could have eaten this for all 3 courses and would have been perfectly happy. Marche is a nice little spot.
