I get take out here at least once a week. Staff is really friendly(especially the older woman, the owner??? Need to ask her). My favorites are the Pad Kee Mao, the Special Eggplant, and the Mango Salad. Consistently great flavors and ingredients. Also like to dine in on occasion. Nice atmosphere — cozy. I feel very lucky to have this restaurant in my hood!

Love the Pa Nang curry here! It’s a great spot in the heart of Fremont. It’s cozy and they have great service. Their Pad Thai is a little on the salty side but it is still delicious. Order rice on the side to pair with your Pad Thai. One order of rice is pretty big. I will definitely go here again in the future.

Food is good, service is good, clean environment. Tom yum soup it good, shrimp was fresh. For the lunch combo, phad thai was bit too salty for me, but the rest was great.

Terrible experience. All meals delivered separately at different times, they confused our orders, and then argued with us about the bill.

It’s telling when you come in the middle of the dinner and it’s almost empty. Food is not too bad, but my squid was a bit over cooked. Service is fairly slow and they should step it up. This place is a goldmine, they just need to realize it.

great service, great food and outdoor seats. We were two people and god our food in 5 – 10 minutes. Not recommended for coming in large group though.

One of 3 Thai places I frequent in the Fremont area. I would say this is good standard Thai restaurant. I think the flavors cater a little more to the American taste palate than Kwanjai or Chille’s Paste down the street. For instance, the Pad Thai is sweeter/reddish. Depending on my mood, I’ll go to one of the three. Service is friendly, but sometimes slow. I like that they have a large outdoor seating area. And of course if it’s in season get the Mango Sticky Rice.

Was in with my friend for a later dinner a few weeks back, they were attentive, fast, and most of all super tasty! After having laughably bad service at Jai Thai a week or two before, Kaosamai was refreshing. I very much so enjoyed their food, and I can’t wait to return and try more! I highly recommend the salmon curry.

My husband and I stopped here for an early dinner. The service was super friendly. They brought out a bowl of cold water for our pup. The food was well seasoned with fresh veggies. The Thai iced was delicious. We will definitely eat here again.

Love this place! I live right around the corner and on days when it’s raining or I’m feeling extra lazy, it’s nice to know they have free delivery. The Thai iced tea is really good and all of the curries I’ve tried are delicious!(I just wish it was a bit cheaper…)

Not usually a fan of pad thai because many places make it sickeningly sweet and syrupy, but this place gave me a sigh of relief when I taste decently spicy slightly sweet pad thai. It was nice having outdoor view while enjoying my food bug-free but the service was somewhat a letdown. The woman was quick with my refills on soda but took such a long time to get us seated(she could have told us to sit while on the phone but kept us waiting for 10 mins), get us our food(another 15), and our other orders. TLDR: pretty good food, below average service.

I just ate the best Panang Curry I’ve ever had. Also, really good tamarind heavy Phad Thai, just the way I like it. Tamarind Phad Thai is hard to find on Seattle! Lunch prices are a bit higher than I am used to(8.95) but the portion was really big and quite good. Next time I’m in Fremont, I’ll definitely come here again!

So far of the, no joke, five Thai restaurants within a 4 block radius this is my favorite. I haven’t actually dined in but have done take out multiple times. The staff have been super friendly each time I’ve been in. The pad thai and chicken satay is great. One of my favorite all time peanut sauces with the satay! They also have a huge patio which I am hoping to enjoy during the sunny months!

If you do nothing else with your life, please, please please go and have this mango salad! I wish I would have taken a picture of it for you but I only have scraps left and that probably wouldn’t really drive home the point I’m trying to make! I’ve never sat down at this restaurant I must disclaim. I have only done delivery here through Eat24, although it has been at least 5 times now in 2 months! About that Mango Salad; well it’s slivers of mango with lettuce, peanuts, green onions, maybe some cabbage? and some really amazing lime-ish spicy vinaigrette type dressing. It’s so fresh like everything there. I have also really enjoyed the Ba Me Hang noodle dish, which is a long egg noodle with a pork meat on top with peanuts, and the soup, Guay Tiow Gai. It’s a chicken broth based soup with lots of great flavors! I’ve saved that one till the next day before and man was that even better! I’ve found their flavors to be very poignant. Spicy when it needs to be, and because of effort not just a bunch of red pepper flakes thrown in. It feels healthier than your average thai menu. Now, my husband has had the Phad Thai and he reports that it’s «ok» I wish he would try some of the other dishes so he would love the restaurant as much as I do!

Love it. Our go-to Thai in Fremont. There are many options! We have always been happy with our food. Carry-out or eating in. Nummers! Panang Curry is my fave. They also have an AMAZING, flavor explosion, appetizer called Mieng Kahm. Nummy leaves you can fill with many different things including; ginger, peppers, toasted coconut, peanuts, lime and some nummy sauce. Seriously so good. Staff is always super pleasant! They also have a patio which is lovely for our Seattle summers. If you want Northern Thai food try Zap Verr.

Since moving to Seattle, the last time I had Thai food was in July — and that was in Woodinville on my way to go wine tasting. Needless to say, it was one of the first things that came to my mind tonight after leaving the somewhat chilly Fremont Oktoberfest. Coming from LA, I have very rare paid over $ 10 for any Thai dish so I was looking for something similar over here in Fremont. My friend and I ordered the fried rice and pad kee mao(3⁄5 spiciness) and I was very happy with the way both dishes were prepared. The fried rice was my favorite of the two because the seasoning was on point and the rice was neither too soft nor chewy(just right for me!). The pad kee mao was spicy enough to balance out the other flavors of the dish and thus not overwhelming for my tastebuds. To me, I think the perfect level of spiciness is when you can enjoy a dish without having to constantly down copious amounts of water. I’ll definitely have to try out a few of the other local Thai places to make a definitive judgment on which local restaurant has the best Thai food, but for the price and taste I was satisfied with Kaosamai. One last thing: Is it just me, or is pineapple fried rice not served in Seattle? I only say this because it’s on almost every menu in Los Angeles. Just curious!

We walked by on busy weekend night and were seated immediately. And then we waited. And waited. And the waiting was emphasized by the fact that we chose to sit outdoor(like most ppl there) and ended kind of freezing our asses off. The spring rolls were hot(I was close to shoving them in by bra for some extra heat). The curry fried rice was good but I was surprised to find pineapple in there(I have a no love relationship with pineapple in my rice). The yellow curry was a bit of a let down. It had that recently seasoned color that turmeric added too late gives, huge potato chunks and some flabby tofu. No peas, no carrots, no other veggies to speak of. Their outdoor patio is lovely and very spacious for Freemont. I’ll try to them justice and come back when the weather is nicer to experience a bit more of their menu.

The service here was very, very nice. Sweet people! I think this is one of the better thai spots in Fremont. We got a pot of jasmine hot tea, a pad see iew, and curry fried rice. I really like the fried rice– the pineapples were not from a can and were very flavorful! The pad see iew was really good, but nothing overly special. I was not a fan of their spring rolls, they were very doughy. There are several vegetarian options here, just make sure you ask for no fish sauce. They offer tofu, but I just asked for more vegetables instead and that was excellent. I cant wait until summer to try their great patio!

Good Thai food. Everything we have had here has been great. Slow service don’t be in a hurry if you come here. When you run out of water I’ve found it a lot quicker to get more water myself. I don’t think I would have gotten a refill otherwise. They have a bigger beer and wine menu compared to a year ago. nice big patio that is dog friendly.
