Always a great experience! I come in a few times every trip to Seattle, beer is always good(Mannys Pale Ale) the staff is always fun to chat with, and plenty of great patrons and things to look at around the restaurant. Has a real neighborhood, local pub sort of feel to it, which is a breath of fresh air… especially being only blocks from the space needle! Go check them out…

Really good fish & chips and mac & cheese. Super nice sportsbar and nice people working there.

The Lucinda Caliente was amazing! It was big, so juicy, and absolutely packed with flavor. I’ve honestly never had a better stuffed burger. I’m looking forward to eating here again tomorrow.

Loved the breakfast selection. We had pancakes and chilaquiles– yum! The staff was nice and although the atmosphere was super sports bar-y, it still felt cozy and comfortable.

Had higher expectations. Waitstaff was nice and attentive. However, for the price, food could have been waaaaaay better.

Staff is cool. Beer is cheap. Atmosphere is classic. If you’re looking for a traditional American bar to hit up after a long day of work, come visit these guys and tip them well. They really look after you.

Good spot to watch any game you want. Food is just ok, some good bar favorites, but some misses(like the juicy lucy). Staff are friendly enough, but not very attentive if you’re sitting outside.

Now that I’ve moved Uptown from my Childhood Stomping Ground of White Center/West Seattle to Lower Queen Anne, I have slowly begun the process of discovery. Close and oh so easy to walk to is Buckley’s. They’ve come in handy for my Late night dinners or any other time. Nice clean American Sports Pub. Salads are great and plenty of Beer to choose from. Custom order Sandwiches are not to be bypassed, as you’ll miss a good bite. Burger that I had at the time was just eh. so-so. Burgers for me have to be juicy, flavorful and oh so tasty. It has to melt in your mouth and not rely on any other flavors but the meat itself. Plenty of Televisions for watching Sporting events. Overall good place. Hometown and in my backyard.

I love that this place shows all the games on Sunday’s. And I also like the rowdy atmosphere it garners from die hards. But the service I think would benefit from an increased sense of urgency. Like the teams that play on Sunday’s, wait staff should be attentive, engaged, and efficient. Often times the staff here find themselves trailing in the 4th quarter.

I had the pot roast sandwich and it was very good and a nice variation on an old standard. Nice relaxed atmosphere and I’d def go again but hopefully next time not after flying for 6 hours. Excellent service as well!

We go to this place weekly as it’s a) two blocks from my office, b) has the coolest staff/owners around, c) allows my «service» dog to accompany me and, d) has THEBESTBANNER in Seattle(see below). I fail to mention the food is always spot on and the service is tremendous. If you’re ever in lower Queen Anne, this is the spot for beers and food — just be forewarned on Saturdays in the fall, the place is a zoo.

I met up here with some friends for a drink and a quick bite to eat. The place itself seems pretty average — it was a sports bar but almost felt like a McCormick’s type of place to me. When I sat down, I needed an extra few minutes to look at the drink menu and our server seemed pretty annoyed. He didn’t come back for a while after that, and eventually I had to flag him down to get his attention. I ordered a beer and a salad — I believe the salad was on a specials menu or something because it wasn’t part of the main one. However, it was really awesome… it had quinoa, chicken, cucumbers and a whole host of other veggies with lemon vinaigrette. One of the best salads that I’ve had in a while. However, while I was in good company, the service was slow and unfortunately detracted from that experience. Next time, maybe I’ll order to go…

Disclaimer: I’m from out of town and haven’t experienced all Seattle has to offer. If recommend Buckley’s on Queen Anne to anyone for any reason. Sure, it’s a sports bar and has that vibe, but the atmosphere provided by the staff and location are hard to beat. I got a burger with sweet potato fries and it was really quite good! The burger was juicy but most likely of the frozen patty type. Toppings added greatly to the flavor and made it a solid 7⁄10. The sweet potato fries were some of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly crunchy and amazing, 10⁄10. As stated before, the atmosphere and staff were wonderful, and I can’t imagine a complaint, 10⁄10 for them as well. An overwhelming thank you to this establishment for making my last day in Seattle memorable!

Great place to watch a game at. The atmosphere is lively and the food is really good. It gets pretty jam packed in here, so grab a spot early.

The roommate and I were driving to Seattle from a long day in Vancouver, so we were hungry. I was meeting up an old college friend of mine and told him I wanted a burger. He suggested Buckley’s. February 2012 *Lucinda caliente with tater tots *Fish & chips(2 pieces) The burger was stuffed with pepper jack and jalapeño, came with pico de gallo and a chipotle aioli. The burger was good, but not as comforting and melty as I expected. It did come with tater tots which I just adore. The roommate got the fish and chips which were just pretty average. Good place to grab some burgers and bar food. I love that tater tots are an option instead of fries!

Cute place with great Happy Hour specials on drinks and food. The bartenders are friendly as well which is in the top 2 of important things for a good bar/restaurant. Try the meatloaf sliders on happy hour, so delicious

Great Food, Great Drinks. Definitely a neighborhood favorite to watch sports, but it also can get crowded quickly, particularly when the seahawks are playing. Highly recommend the sweet potato tots with the chipotle sauce, delicious.

Had an IPA. Waiter rolled her eyes when I asked the difference between the 2 IPAs they have. Usually I get a clear detailed description to the cell on IPAs in SF with similar/other recs. Food was mediocre, we had buffalo wings n calamari. Ugh. Cute location though.

I had just run the Seattle RnR Marathon and was hungry for my usual post race burger and thirsty for some beers. This place sure fit the bill. It was close to my hotel, so I didn’t have to walk too far. I started off with their featured IPA on tap while watching the soccer match on one of their several TV’s. Then I ordered their Juicy Lucy burger with tater tots. It was a good burger and I love any place that serves tater tots. I prefer tater tots over fries any day. I then ordered their featured IPA on nitro to finish off my recovery meal. I didn’t catch the name of the beers, but they were both good beers. Service was okay, but there wasn’t very many people there at around 4pm as it was pretty early for dinner. I think this would be a good place to watch a sports game or just to unwind and have a beer or two.
