It was busy due to Seattle PRIDE but no need to be rude and tell me he couldn’t make me a Cosmo after our table ordered a couple pitchers of beer. I went to the bar to order my drink and he got annoyed with the bartender for fulfilling my order. I’m sorry you’re a fucking BAR!

Ozzies is a great semi pub bar feel. You have the crowds of the hill workout feeling overwhelmed as you often do on the hill. Dana especially kills it on the back bar and John on the front bar.

Karaōke, dancing, pool tables, and seating. What more could you ask for? I went here for a friend’s birthday and it was a great time. There’s a lot of options to do to cater to everyone’s interests. The only reason I’m giving them four stars is because the bar was so packed it was uncomfortable at time. But overall, a great experience and I will be returning.

Not sure where all the hate is coming from, honestly. Maybe this place had some issues a while back, but in the last year I’ve been visiting here, it’s been completely fine. Food is OK, definitely not bad for a dive. Drinks are on the strong side. The ambience tends to be pretty chill, unless you hit this place up during busy weekend nights. We often swing by on off-nights like Sundays, and it’s plenty laid-back and casual, exactly what you’d want in a familiar neighborhood dive. Service may not be super attentive, but I’ve never had to wait long(unless there was a crowd) to be served if I just went up to the bar and ordered there. The one time I was ignored(accidentally, I’m sure), the bartender was very friendly and prompt once I got his attention. I don’t know where other reviewers are encountering the«rude» bartenders; all the ones we’ve met are plenty friendly and easygoing, often chatting with regulars and making an effort to remember familiar faces. I don’t live close enough to attend this place frequently, but gosh, I kinda wish I did. The karaōke is absolutely, totally on point. The usual MC is super friendly and humorous; he keeps the tone fun and light-hearted. It’s a wonderful setup nowadays, with a stage, hip mood lighting and its own secluded area so you don’t get noisy, rowdy bar patrons chatting and disrupting the karaōke area. Sometimes the karaōke crowd gets a bit rowdy themselves, but what bar doesn’t have this problem sometimes? I wonder if some of these other reviewers are accustomed to visiting dives. Most of the clientele are fine. A few rude apples are inevitable, and half of attending bars is just learning how to weather those conflicts and roll with it. Closing advice: If you want to avoid some of the rambunctious crowds, don’t come on a game night; stop by on a quiet day of the week(i.e., not Saturday). My group always has a lovely time.

Terrible food and they could not make a Bloody Mary when asked. With«5 bars», as they claim, you’d think you could round up some tomato juice. The meatloaf sliders were served with hot dog buns, so I’d go ahead and recommend against those.

It’s always a good time here. I love ozzies! Chill, spacious, good vibe. Sometimes crowded. But love coming here with friends and for friends birthdays too. Karaōke is hilarious(line is always long though lol). I enjoy coming here and plan to continue to come here. I highly recommend this spot!

We were planning on coming here for HH cause they have a great looking menu. We were in the area though so we came in about 1:30pm, we found a booth, there was only one other person in the place, which was awesome. We got a Stella Artois and a Hefeweizen. We split the fried cheese curds with pepper jelly, our first time trying curds and they were amazing! We got a club sandwich and the awesome bartender had it split for us. It was delicious and the fries were really hot and fresh. We would definitely come back here. Great food and service.

Pretty much my favorite bar in Seattle. The DJ is always — ALWAYS on point and I love knowing I can pop over to Ozzies anytime I feel the urge to dance the night away. I have probably come here over 100 times and I have always found the bouncers and bartenders to be completely friendly and attentive. I give them 5 stars because while they might not have yummy craft cocktails or anything fancy like that, they’re a dependable good night out and I always have a blast here. That’s definitely a rarity in Seattle! I love that there are so many different«experiences» here — two sections for karaōke, a good sized dance floor, a space for pool and a space to just hang out and chat in the booths. It definitely has a dive-y college bar feel to it, but if you don’t mind that vibe and appreciate it for what it has to offer, you’ll enjoy yourself. Thanks for so many fun nights over the last 7 years, Ozzies!

Middle of the road bar. Food here is ok. You will be happy to pay Happy Hour prices but not sure full price is worth it. What is labeled on tap is good, but might not be there. The space for karaōke and quiz are lacking. The equipment is bad and the rest of the bar has their speakers playing other stuff. You have two different things playing at you. It’s a dive bar and slowly killing itself.

I wish I could give this place a good review unlike other people I didn’t get terrible service and had a decent time. However towards closing time my buddy who wasn’t overly drunk and not doing anything, went to close his tab and out of nowhere a bouncer agressively started shoving him out the door even while he was calmly try to walk with the guy and repetedly call him«retard». Having a mentally disabled person in my family I found this highly offensive and unprofessional. It left a feeling of not being very safe here and like they just wanted to try and fight and escalate a situation for no reason. Judging by previous reviews this is an recurring theme and clearly starts with management. I definately would not recommend this place, there is much better in the city and it’s sad to see this kind of thing in a nice part of Seattle like queen anne.

Good place on quiet night during the week, enough happening with constant karaōke, sports on the tvs. Strong drinks, cool bartender and pull tabs!

Until last week I hadn’t stepped into Ozzie’s in eight years, and I really hadn’t stepped into Ozzie’s before 8PM ever. But for a neighborhood decidedly thin on happy hour options(what’s up with that, lower QA?) Ozzie’s delivers some great options. Tall boy cans of PBR for $ 2.00(ahhh, if only it was Rainier), plus half off appetizers(so a big plate of chicken nachos for $ 4.25? um… sure!). More than enough staff and plenty of bar seats open, even for a HH on a Friday. In this part of Seattle, it’s hard to ask your local dive bar for more than that for a weekday HH…

Great bar with a lot of different things going on. When I went, they seemed a little under staffed and service was a little slow, but not to bad for a busy bar.

Last time I’ll go there. Male bartenders there are rude. Learn to treat your drunks, it’s a bar! I would give it 0 stars if possible!

This bar was a bit under my age-range(full of 21 – 25 yo’s), but it was still fun and quite amusing. I arrived with some friends earlier in the night(about 10PM, because sheesh, when you’re getting older, 10PM seems like 1AM), and the bars were empty. I walked up and ordered a beer, and service was quite and pleasant. Some booths were open, so we grabbed a seat, although felt pretty out of place for not standing in a group holding a drink. Going later into the night, the bar filled up and lines got a bit longer, but not too bad if you know where to stand. There is a karoke side, which was honestly pretty fun to watch everyone. I was not drunk enough to sing, but I can foresee that happening in my future. A couple of my friends sang, and all was well for the night. Since I’m married, and almost 30, coming here will be to snag some quick(strong!) drinks only. I definitely woke up the next day with a sore throat from talking so loud since it was jammin’ with music– so old people, beware. Jeez, this post makes me realized I am getting old.

After a fun night on the town, we went to Ozzie’s for breakfast. It has a straightforward menu with all the classics at great prices. I got the eggs benny and the hollandaise was done very well. Hash browns and drip coffee rounded it out. They don’t do specialty coffee like lattes, just an fyi. I like the feeling of the place, a simple diner with cozy booths. I didn’t go over to the bar area, but that looks like a good place to kick back. Saw they had at least one pinball machine back there.

I couldn’t get into the bar because the bouncer said it wasn’t me in my ID; I was shocked. So, I had to do 3 signature tests, show my debit/credit cards and show my student ID and that still wasn’t enough! I actually felt offended. The head bouncer didn’t believe me! Ughhhhh talk about being annoyed and left out in the cold. Don’t worry though, after demanding for a manager I got in. However, I had to get my friend to get the manager for me because the bouncer wouldn’t do it.

Ozzie’s was pretty cool and I had a great time out here. I went here after a concert at Key Arena and I hung out downstairs but also watched some Karaōke upstairs for a bit. Everyone told me I needed to go check out Ozzies when I moved here and I could see why after going, it’s got a great atmosphere and it’s a good time.

We decided to venture out and try a different neighborhood and much to say that I might just be sticking to my usual Capitol Hill spots. But this might be a great last resort for some people if they decide to go out last minute at midnight because there isn’t a cover charge or even a line to get in and parking is easy to find on the street. I agree with Ren G’s comment in her review, «I’ve never seen a floor so sticky outside of a movie theater, or a dance floor so tiny, or a bar so packed out». That sentence pretty much sums it up. I’m glad we decided to try a new spot, but maybe I’m just the wrong demographic for this bar because this feels like where the college kids go to hang out to be young, wild, and free.

Went here with friends after having dinner and then stopping by a house party in south lake union! The ambiance was like a busy college dive bar but 4 times the size, complete with pool, darts, 2 levels, karaōke, and some pretty stiff drinks, depending on the server! The bar food was served all night, eventually shutting down after midnight, but it looked pretty decent to me! Grabbed a Jameson and ginger ale, followed by a tequila sunrise, and then a pint of Guinness. The ambiance is the primary reason why I enjoy this bar, because I like bars that are full of people, and entertaining. I played a round of darts, and then I also sung a couple of songs via karaōke with my friends, and we had a blast! The restaurants around the area are open late, and if I could I would go there more often! Such a fun time here with my friends, I definitely plan on coming back to this bar again soon!

HUSKERBAR!!! Came from out of town and found this GEM. Being from Nebraska it was great to see other Nebraska cornhusker fans in the same bar. Small world when you see 3 people you went to school with!!! Loved the beer and atmosphere!!! Cant wait to come back and cheer on the huskers with the fellow fans!!!

We held our company«Karaōke» night here last night and I just have to say, Ozzie’s was an AWESOME venue and the staff were great to work with. Brian, our Karaōke DJ, was amazing! THANKYOUBRIAN! He quickly figured out how to play to the interests of our young crowd, and helped keep the energy up. We had our own format that we wanted to follow and he made it feel like it was no problem, and was happy to help. We also had an great bartender(Sarah i think?) and Dan the manager. We had a delicious Taco Bar and drink tickets for our peeps — it was so reasonably priced. We had the whole upstairs to ourselves, and it was clean — brand new looking floors. Had ample bathrooms. Would recommend Ozzie’s to anyone for an event venue!

Disclaimer: I had already been to many a bar before stumbling into Ozzie’s, so this will be brief. I really wanted to do karaōke so that’s why we headed in here. It’s definitely divey, and the karaōke was in the back room, if I remember correctly. It had that local vibe, with not very many people doing karaōke. We ended up not doing it because I wasn’t feeling the songs, and also the same guy kept getting up to sing! It was lacking the energy I was expecting, but seemed like a chill spot.

Super fun bar! Relatively younger crowd and lots to do for different types of people. From casually grabbing a few drinks, to playing pool, to karaōke, to getting your dance on, this place has something for almost everyone.

Great bar! This is a great bar in Lower Queen Anne that my friends frequent. I’ve waited to write a review on this bar until I went 4 or 5 times as I wanted to make sure I wasn’t just catching them on an off night. So after being to this bar 5 times, I can safely say they are consistent in the following… THEGOOD: Great location in LQA around other bars and seems pretty much spot on for karaōke! They’ve always got karaōke going on different floors so there’s always an opportunity to get get tipsy and sing your heart out. They also have pool tables, TVs, and great DJs regularly so there seems to be something for everyone there. The last night I was there they had pretty much the best DJ I had ever seen so I was quite impressed with that! The Bartenders all seem very friendly and seem to definitely be up to standard from a customer service and efficiency standpoint. Fun Trivia! You can download the app on your smartphone and play along. THEBAD… When busy, security aren’t friendly or reasonable. Drinks aren’t just poured strong, they are probably 90% booze. However, this may be good news for the raging alcoholic. The strong drinks are probably why security is so uptight on busy nights. As I’ve perused other reviews, it’s clear that these two things are pretty common complaints. I have plenty of experience in the industry and I can never figure out why mixing poor drinks and having punks for security are acceptable tendencies. I’ll be back though as this bar’s shortcomings are trumped by what makes it great.

This a dive bar that comes by it honestly. They have decent food, a couple cider options(one is a hopped cider). Lots of different PNW brews on draft and plenty of things to do. First floor: Karaōke room, bar eating area, two pool tables, and dance floor-ish area. Second floor: Dance floor/private room? I just glanced in on second floor because I was greeted by someone and felt the private party vibe from them. The bar gets packed after 10:45p but before then you can definitely grab a seat and get a bartenders attention. The bars — once you order from one… Keep going there, they don’t connect all cashiers together it seems. This is definitely a place to let loose, drink, and über/cab home. It has a young twenties drinking atmosphere and you will see people carried out while they are too outrageous or passed out.

I happened by on a Wednesday night after a SIFF movie. They had a Wednesday NY Strip steak special with great baked potato and caesar’s salad for about $ 10. Steak good size and char broiled perfectly medium rare though definitely not prime beef. Service was good. Iced tea tastes like it comes from a mix and should be avoided. Lots of TVs to watch sports.
