McDonald’s

Pretty dirty outside and a lot of homeless people hang out around here now. Not the most pleasant place to enjoy a meal but quality-​wise, it is just like any other McDonalds.

I would give zero if I could. It does not matter who manages this place they do not get it. My daughter got breakfast and they fixed everything but the hash browns. The food sat there getting cold waiting for hash browns to be cooked. They did not start them until the food was already done. Who does that? They must be non-​intelligent people who do not understand that we should start parts of the meal so it all comes out warm and at the same time. Someday they might figure this out.

This is an ok McDonald’s. Located on the brighter of two corners of a stip mall past its glory, its well lit inside with a highly-​glassed exterior. The people who work here seem nice by my experiences. The food is McDonald’s food, and consistently so. Bathrooms are clean. Floors are clean. Tables are clean. For a McDonald’s those are the big factors that separate the wheat from the chaff.

Normally I wouldn’t waste my time with a review on McDonald’s. However, I have to say this. Everyone eats fast food occasionally or has at some point. This McDonald’s is the worst for fries. I don’t know about you, but the only reason I go to McDonald’s is for the fries. It seems like this place never has fresh fries, they are always packed there in the little boxes waiting under the heater. They must be there for hours, because each time I’ve been there they are soggy and cold. I can’t go back to the counter every time they give me crappy fries, so I just don’t go there anymore. There is another one down the road, I drive an extra 10 minutes just to avoid this place.

Is there a ZERO-​STAR option on Unilocal?!If so, then sign me up!!! This McDs is by far the worst. Don’t get me wrong: I wasn’t expecting fine-​dining experience from fast-​food chains. I’m a practical, realistic person. With that said, I HATE THIS PLACE! Here’s why:
I went in to order a 6-​piece McNugget meal (with large fries). They gave me 1 BBQ sauce… but since I’m a lover of BBQ sauce, I politely asked for another. The guy was like, «It’ll be another 38 cents.» Now, I’m not sure who came up with that number but come on!!! Is there tax on a $ 0.30 purchase? Is that how they came up with $ 0.38? Since I was mad-​craving for fries & BBQ sauce, I figured it’s times like this that I need to pull a «big-​baller-​shot-​caller» move and front the $ 0.38.
I got my meal to go and as I was munching on my fries, I found out they were century-​old fries that had not only been sitting under the heat-​lamp all day but was quickly dipped in the hot oil for 3-​seconds to fool one into thinking this was prepared hot and fresh. GAG! I may be one PMS-​ing girl who’s craving for some decent, properly-​paid-​for fries… but I’m as hell not a dumb ditz whose taste buds can be easily fooled.
Okay…legitimate venting session is over. I hope my experience helps you with your choice of McD’s location.

I would rate this less if I could. I know it’d fast food and you can’t be picky but this was ridiculous. The woman at the counter barely spoke English and double charged me for THREE items. When I brought it up she insisted I was wrong and she was right. We argued for a bit and management refused to reimburse me. The food was awful. It tasted stale and even soapy! Plus what is up with a take out tax? That’s absurd. There’s no closer drive thru. Needless to say I will never be eating at this McDonald’s ever again.

Used to come here all the time when I was a kid. Back then the food was great! The big mac was actually big! Now I’m just sad to say I would think twice before coming here. Service sucks and they really limit the amount of ketchup/​bbq/​sweetnsour sauce they give you.
Also, the food doesn’t come «hot». It’s more like slightly warm.

Hmm compared to other mc donalds, this one really shorts you on the amount of soft serve you get. and the server is unable to form a swirl pattern! Also, I found the remains of a previous cone within my cone! which means yup, I bit into and ate part of the paper wrapper that surrounds the bottom of the previous cone, which was also embedded within my cone. blech.

I remember coming to this McDonald’s as a kid. It doesn’t have a drive-​thru, but it has a wonderful classic fast food joint seating arrangement. And the service is always stellar.
Just a classic fast food joint. Every single time I come here, which is rare now, I am transported back to childhood.
And well, that is A-​OK with me.

Yes I’m a Fatass!!! Just finished watching the Ultimate Fight Night and Affliction and on my way back home I wanted to go celebrate Fedor’s Destruction of Tim Sylvia by getting some Piroshki from the Russian Deli on Almaden, but they were closed… and La Victoria wasn’t open yet, so I headed home. On my way, I decided that I had to feed my burger craving, so I stopped by this McDonald’s. Ordered a Big Mac w/​extra sauce, cheeseburger, and two large fries w/​no salt.
The place looked clean and the employees all had a good attitude. When the fries were ready, one of the employees started to put salt on it…“wooah, woaahh u’r killin me bro!!” hahaha, he apologized (since his co-​worker just discussed the no salt part w/​him a minute ago) and put in a fresh batch of fries. No big deal. If they had bad attitudes, then it’d be a different story, but it was all good.
Got home w/​my food and the Big Mac was good, Fries were really good, and the cheeseburger was almost ok. only problem is that after eating crap food like this, i get really really thirsty (i’ve had ½ a gallon of water already).
Hopefully I won’t be back too often because i’m gettin back into shape, but if the craving hits, i’ll be by here after doin some cardio next door to make up for it.
Being that it’s fast food, it’s hard for me to justify giving more than 3 stars.
