Again!!! I came home and my order was wrong. The food I paid for was not in the bag and to my surprise the burrito they gave me was falling apart. Nobody likes to eat food they did not want. The service needs to dealt with and employees need to pay attention to the orders people pay for. I don’t have time to go back and deal with this in person. I called the manager/supervisor spoke with Veronica and explained my situation and she will follow up with her employees. I don’t plan to go back to that location again. But for sure next time I will double check my order before I leave even if I have to hold back the line. Sorry!

Their food is amazing. I got shrimp avocado tacos and they have freshly made sauces like guacamole, salsa etc. couldn’t stop eating those. This was my first time eating at El Pollo Loco and will come back again and again. My #1 favorite fast food but not junk food!

**WORSTLOCATIONEVER** The manager of this location should be fired. Worst looking store and wait times are unacceptable. I have been to this location on 2 separate visits and they were out of chicken!!! What??? How can there be NOCHICKEN on the grill… This is a Chicken restaurant, right?!! Get your act together. The dinner area is a total disaster very time I’ve been in there. The Salsa Bar is food poisoning waiting to happen. I never see any employees cleaning it. When an item gets low are about gone, instead of removing item, they dump fresh on top of old! I’d love to see El Pollo Loco Policy on the damn Salsa Bar. GROSS! This location has an issue with homeless, inside and outside, either begging for money or sitting at a table for long periods of time. The drive thru is in a horrible location and always backs up the parking lot. I sure hope corporate reads these reviews and does something about this store!

Waited 10 minutes in the drive thru to move one car space. Got to the speaker, wasn’t acknowledged. After 5 minutes of silence I realized I was going to be late to work if I waited the entirety of this drive thru(even though I just wanted a burrito and a soda). Put my car in reverse and a lady came over the speaker and snapped«just give me a minute». Yeah like that’s going to make me wait longer. I haven’t been to an EPL in years. Looks like it’ll be even longer till next time.

Worst EPL around! I try to avoid this location due to the fact that you feel like you are literally waiting for them to kill the chicken. The wait is ridiculous, and 9 out of 10 times they forget they freakin cilantro dressing & salsas(that’s a crime in itself). But this most recent and last trip was the ultimate. The wait time for a family meal…26 minutes. The sides we ordered… completely incorrect. The pico de gallo… dark brown. The rice. topped wth 2 little hairs, actually the hairs were more towards the bottom. AND… the managers name tag in our box of chicken! Yes ladies and gentlemen. We got hair and a name tag in lieu of our salad dressing and correct sides! We will be taking a drive to Newhall or Granada Hills the next time we feel like having the fast food habit worth having!

I went last night, waited for like 10 minutes in the drive threw. When I finally got my food I asked the guy if the salsa where in the bag he said«yes». I asked him one more time before driving off if they were there he reassured me they were. When I got home I was taking out the food and notice the it wasn’t there and these are the people that are asking for $ 15 an hour??? I called the manager and all he said is «what can I do for you» no apologies! Will NEVER go there again!

Worst pollo loco ever. Wanted to get something to eat really quick and for my luck was stuck in that drive thru for almost an hour… Then you finally get to the window and all you get is an «OHIMSORRYFORTHEWAIT» like omg really… Then your happy to finally get your food you get home to find the chicken not fully cooked. Their service is AWFUL

This place sucks I like the chicken because it’s crisp but the parking is terrible and for me any place that make their hot sauce in a factory with oviously the cheapest of ingredients just to save a few bucks just lost me as a costumer I use to love their avocation sauce and now they changed the recipe and it is watery and bad tasting I couldn’t even eat it I won’t be back again

Worst service ever!!! How do these employees justify a higher pay rate when they can’t even get the orders correctly!!! By the time you get home who the heck wants to drive back to the restaurant??? Good food, awful wait time, the line went outside the door. Then there was a guy in here begging for food. The parking is atrocious! My husband had to park further down the lot so he wouldn’t get trapped by other consumers blocking him. The only reason I came here was for some food. Next time I’ll go somewhere else.

20 minutes for a tostada and a 2 piece meal… might as well go to Mexico and raise your own chickens; it would take less time… UPDATE: It took a total of 26 minutes to get my order. Mind you, people who ordered AFTER I did got my food BEFORE me, so it wasn’t a matter of the whole system being backed up. Despite alerting the manager that I had been waiting for 20+ minutes with no food, all I got was a, «here you go!» when my food was finally ready. No apologies, nada. Can’t wait til the Foothill location is back in business.

San Fernando is limited for semi-healthy food choices… El Pollo Loco is one restaurant that can be «semi healthy». This location is close to my office, so i have gone several times. I have finally given up on this location, and will NOT be going back! The drive thru is terribly designed, leaving cars in line blocking thru traffic in their narrow parking lot. I have seen 3 fist fights in the parking lot in the span of a month, all due to someone cutting in line, or someone getting blocked in by someone in line! On top of this, the drive thru takes forever! they are always under-staffed, and getting your order correct is a 1 in 10 shot!

This pollo loco SUCKS!!! Worst ever! The manager is extremely rude and talks really mean to the workers. They are super slow and never get the order right. They will make your food and leave it sitting in the counter for a couple minutes and then give it to you. There counters are always dirty and they never have it stocked. You ask for a couple of containers to put sauce and they look at you like if you asked for their organs. They charged me for a wrong order and the manager didn’t want to pay me back the difference. She said she will discount it next time i come in. And she never did. She overcharged me $ 2.50! Their food portions also suck!!! I wish I could give it 0 stars!!!

They are always busy, never have enough cashiers and almost always get my order wrong. I don’t work to far from here so I come here quite often but how Hardin it to get a burrito done right. There have been times where I am missing items I ordered and since I’m on lunch I can’t check before I leave the window. Their line is out the door sometimes and the drive thru is no better. Cars are pouring out the driveway. I come here as a last resort if I’m not feeling like getting a burger. Hoping the service and accuracy get better. They need to step up their game now that Chipotle is open right down the street. But they aren’t doing any better either. But that’s another review.

Picked up the chicken mango salad for lunch. Got back to the office to find dry old chicken on my wilted salad with little to no mango and they eve forgot the dressing. Called to speak to a manager and the phone just rings and rings. The worst pollo loco ever. Won’t be going back there.

Worst place ever. Every single time you go through the drive thru they are rushing. Your order is not checked and you end up feeling rushed away from the window. Today this happened(WHYDO I KEEPGOING) mostly because there are limited options in San Fernando. But the lady at the window was rushing so much that she forgot one of our salads and then thankfully we asked for salsa and she noticed that the next item was still ours. So we did not leave without 2 missing items just ONE missing item. When you try to call the place the number is BUSY so good luck trying to reach a manager.
