Loved ToGos in Rancho Bernardo for years when I worked for Sony, Now that I found one on Mira Mar Road its on again, Best and Biggest Pastrami Sandwich out there, finely sliced, piled high… after two times ordering by phone they know me by name as I enter its always «Hi, Jeffery your sandwich is ready… you want a drink today or no ?» that is great service you love… I get emails all the time, but only recently went back to get a sandwich, my bad– TOGO’s is as Good as EVER… Do yourself a favor try the Pastrami with mayo mustard lettuce and pickles and peppers on Wheat… KA Boooom its the bomb

Curious about the mixed reviews, I made my first Togo’s visit last month for lunch. Place looked clean. Several middle aged guys were working the counter and while I wouldn’t call them bubbly, they were polite and seemed very professional. I knew what I wanted going in, and got my reuben done correctly, no special request, in just a couple of minutes. Their sandwiches seem to be around $ 9 – 12 for a 9-inch that is wider than average, and probably weighs at least as much as a foot-long elsewhere. I thought it was a pretty good reuben; the bread had good chewy texture and pastrami seemed about deli-quality. Minor downsides were just one kind of soup — potato — and unsweetened iced tea on the watery side. Overall, I was satisfied and will go back again to try out other meats.

The crew that works here were the same guys who worked at the old Solana beach Togos. An awesome team, Norton the manager is great he knows my name and exactly how I like any sandwich I get. He runs this crew well and the food is always fresh. I work close to this location and come in at least 3 times a week and never have issues. My only complaint is that they aren’t closer to my house haha. The 3 star rating for this Togos is totally incorrect… 5 out of 5 stars.

I’ve been going to Togo’s for over 20 years. .. in Northern California, mostly. My husband and I love their sandwiches. However, frequently I like to order their Southwest Chicken Salad. Very yummy!!! However this week, much of their lettuce was brown or rotten. Yuck!!! I had to throw about ¼ of the lettuce apart — hard picking through the rest of the goodies to toss the bad. I would have sent it back, but the guys behind the counter probably would not have noticed. Once in Reno(5 years ago) I asked for«fresh lettuce», and the manager assured me that it is always very good because she is a stickler about her lettuce too. And she was right; excellent. I’ll never order another salad from the Miramar Togo’s however.

Awesome sandwiches. I have been a Togo’s email club member for years & the rewards are definitely worth it. Besides a free sandwich on your birthday, there are several good deals throughout the year. And the sandwiches are top notch. Mgr. Matt & sandwich maker Raol make your sandwich any way you want it with the toppings you want. They now serve fresh brewed Lipton iced tea & it tastes terrific. This Togo’s will be a favorite place of mine for many years to come. Join the email club & start taking advantage of the deals & discounts.

Rushed to Togos after class with 4 other classmates… it was 4:50 when we arrived… doors were locked and sign flipped to close… hours on the door clearly stated they were open until 5 pm… we saw an employee inside but he just shook his head no… either the manager has horrible business practices by not abidding by the hours posted on the front door or the employees have total control of the operating hours… either way totally disappointing.

Had Togos after a very long time at this location and I was pleased. A bit on the pricey side but God damn! That«Boom Boom Pastrami»! It was delicious. The older gentleman that made my sub too was a pro with a slight of hand had me in and out of there in about 5 mins. Good, clean location. Excellent! Will return

Good sandwiches, however this particular Togo’s has some unfriendly workers. The workers seemed lifeless and slightly agitated when you don’t know what to order. My pet peeve as a customer would not being asked for a combo in the first place, which they did not do. But oh well!

Love the Togo’s in Carlsbad, but I’ve moved south so thought I’d try the Miramar Road location. Was concerned after reading negative reviews regarding poor customer svc, etc. However, I was craving the Pepper Jack Pastrami, so decided to check it out. Well guess what… the store was closed at 3pm on a Saturday! I guess all the negative reviews(about this location) were spot on. Togo’s Regional Mgnt should find a new franchisee b/c this one is ruining their reputation.

Good Pastrami or Salami sandwiches. Agree on the comments about hours and food stock. Have come by with the shop closed during posted«open» hours later, and have come by when out of bread types or meats. You can goto and join the togos sandwhich club for good discount promotions sometimes.

I would give less than a star because manager is definitely judgmental(he was working on my order.) Made fun about my request in substituting something in my wrap. Food is bland anyway and seems not fresh.

I love togos! I’m from the Bay Area, where the chain started, and there aren’t nearly as many locations in San Diego. I’ve been to this location several times craving an egg salad sandwich, and almost everytime I’ve gone, they are out of eggs. What the heck? After multiple unsuccessful attempts, I won’t be back.

Meh. I’ve been here a few times. It just isn’t good. All my sandwiches/wraps end up being a bunch of shredded iceburg lettuce soggy with too much dressing. ETA: I don’t eat meat, so likely a contributing factor.

There are much better options in San Diego for sandwiches. Drybread blend flavors just a tiny bit of meat on my sandwich. If you like Drybread there’s plenty of that.

Only togos i know of that is still open. And they close one day of the week. Lol! So yea dont go there on that day! I think its sunday? Im pretty sure its sunday. Anywho their sandwhiches are pretty good… But then again its kinda similar to every sandwich place well besides subway. Their bread contains similar ingredients to that of yoga mats … Eeks! Okay yea enjoy!

I had come in a while back, and it is now under new management… And let me say: «What a difference!» Super friendly people behind the counter. Fresh made meatball sub was great, and so far everything me and my coworkers have ordered has been excellent. I spoke with the new owner today(ordered the chicken salad sandwich, and YUM) who was very friendly as well. Thanks a lot for the great service and fresh food. FYI, they actually make their meatballs and sauce fresh daily! Vast improvement from when I was in last with previous owners.
