Let’s just get straight to the point. Ordered a chicken shwarma with a side salad which comes with a free drink.(1) the chicken was dry without much flavor.(2) The veggies in the salad was bruised and the dressing tasted like any old vinaigrette you could get at a dollar store.(3) I ordered the house made lemonade which tasted like they wrung the water out of a dish towel to give it that«acquired» taste which I’m pretty sure stems from the ice they use so I wouldn’t trust any drink from them. Not sure why this has four ratings but y’all need to have higher standards for yourselves! Hope I can aid in your path to tasting the goodness life has to offer.

Ever since New ownership, the Quality and service has declined. Baklava not made there but shipped in from Shatila. Too bad.

Good service, pleasant and friendly people behind the counter. Food is great. I guess the management and cooks have changed so I think it is better now than before with my last visit. I would definitely keep on going back.

I went here thinking I want to grab a quick bite but not fast food. Good quality, but not expensive. I got the gyros lunch special. $ 5 for a gyro and soda. It is quick to prepare and it was so good it made my Neal even faster :-) My only regret is not trying something on the menu I haven’t tried before(like the Lebanese pie). I’m definitely coming back!

This is a good place to satisfy your kebab or shawarma craving for lunch. I popped in and got one of the lunch specials which came with a kefta kebab wrap, fries, and a soda for under $ 10. What a deal! The service was very friendly too. If you’re dining in, they have plenty of seating inside and a few tables outside. Not much in the way of decorations, but that’s okay. And since it’s near Miramar, be prepared for jets to be buzzing overhead a few times during your meal.

First time so went for the kebab combo. The good: hummus was good, bread was fresh, and the salad was fine, they used fresh tomatoes and the dressing was good. But all of these are pretty hard to mess up. The bad: the rice was overdone and all three kebabs were overcooked and dry. Icing on the cake: the trip to the bathroom an hour later.

I ate here only once for lunch, so take this review with a grain of salt. I had a falafel lunch set. The falafel tasted authentic and good, however, the volume was tiny. I told my wife that I would need two of these to feel satisfied. Moreover, the lemonade that came with the lunch was so horribly tasted that I would have believed if they had told me that they accidentally gave me diluted paint thinner. I will not go back. Sorry.

I’m an Arab from Arabia, this is good food. Wallah very good, authentic, original, everything. Spinach meat pie is amazing, tabouleh is great, very good love it.

Great delivery. Ordered lunch for 16 hungry co workers while in town for business. Did a great job of getting the order correct and delivered right on time. Everything was delicious and as promised. Everyone was very pleased with their dishes as well. Great job Taste of Lebanon! Thank you Unilocal and Eat 24

Tried hummus at countless places, but this place beats em all. Unfortunately the shop is closed up before end of business hours(probably because of a slow day), but that’s inconvenient and unprofessional.

Delicious shawarma and such great customer service. I was asked a few times how I was doing after I got my meal. Free lemonade or ice tea with your meal, great prices for quality food.

Their chicken and kafta kebob combo plate is solid. Includes some salad and tasty hummus. Their garlic dipping sauce is my favorite part.

Been there a couple of times with my friends. Great place to hang out and enjoy great food. Best shawarma in San Diego area hands down. The service is friendly I wish they open late for midnight cravings lol

I am surprised that the reviews were so good and yet our in restaurant dining experience was less that fabulous. Both the chicken and beef shawarma were dry. End of story…

Super friendly service and fast too! I ordered the falafel and fries and very much enjoyed it. I ended up picking out those pinkish vegetables from inside the wrap, though. What are those things? I’m not sure if I like them for more than a bite or two, but the falafel and the sauce were amazing enough it wasn’t a problem to pull a few out every once in a while. I’m a weird picky weirdo, though. The dining room is actually very calming too. I’m not sure what it is, but I felt good in there. It’s super clean and very spacious. Maybe it’s the space that makes it feel better to me. A lot of the lunch spots in the area have tiny and dark dining rooms, but this was bright and wide open. And with interesting TV to boot!

I was absolutely starving and just wolfed down the vegetarian plate. I completely recommend it: Hummus– creamy and delicious Falafel– crunchy on the outside but still moist inside Dolmades– to bet honest I usually hate these: it was fine, I actually ate it Tabouli– fresh, fresh, fresh!!! Perfectly seasoned Baba ganoush– I really liked this. It does have a strong smokey flavor so just be prepared…

This place is on my regular work lunch rotation. I have ordered quite a few different items and none of them has disappointed me yet. Gyro salad, Lebanese meat/cheese/spinach pie(good and super filling!), gyro sandwich combo, and some of their plates. Everything is decently priced and delicious. They have a case full of Lebanese desserts which I have yet to try. Perhaps next time! The staff is super friendly. Every time I come in, they ask how my day is going and there has never been a time where the person handling my order wasn’t smiling, which is what I like because it makes lunch a better experience. The look of the place could use a little sprucing up, but it doesn’t bother me because I always take my food to go. Parking in his plaza can get pretty horrible during the lunch rush. So avoid it by going on an off hour.

If there is only one thing that you should take from my review, just DON’T order the chicken here, because you’ll probably be disappointed. Like so many other Middle Eastern establishments in San Diego, the chicken was very very dry. The seasonings were minimal, and I heavily relied on the«white sauce dip» and hummus for added flavoring. Bird is not the word.
