RJ Barber shop is a decent place to get a cheap affordable haircut that is also quick and quiet. I would probably go back if in the area in the near future. Pros: Quick, Affordable Cons: Be careful what barber you get the one I had cut me.

Just went in for my sons First hair cut(he’s 1 year old) and the guy was fast, very nice and patient! Some younger Asian didn’t get his name, he also cut my hubby’s hair last weekend and did a great job on him too!

Great shop, usually a game on. Good guys, and ask for Linh. Great fades for 12.00, and good parking always. Much better environment than the hair force joke across the street, and far cleaner. Pound for pound the best barber shop in South San Diego.

The two that work there are very patient with the razor and scissors. Fades are absolute; have not had a problem with them yet. They will work with what you have. But like any barber/stylist, they cannot read your mind so be vocal about what you want and how you want it. Personable staff and customer friendly. At times, it can get crowded with only two barbers and the line can get long. So catch them when they aren’t too busy :) Customer hint: bring a picture of what you want your hair to look like and be realistic of the cut and your facial features.

Best barber shop in south San Diego hands down. Being a native San Diegan, I’ve been to it all, Phil’s Barber(cut my ear), Supercuts(too much manies), and a few mom and pops stores here and there. The barbers are nice, do a great job with your fades and actually take time perfecting your cut. I now live in Riverside, but I wait until I come back home to get my cuts here(even if I look like a mountain man).
