Letty’s Hair Cut & Color

Went in for a haircut, all the ladies there were friendly and their prices are reasonable. I will definitely get a hair cut there again. Overall great customer service! Seriously first time I DON’T walk out from a hair salon like wanting to cry lol, I love my haircut!

I have been going there for over 10yrs on and off, but always for a pedicure w/​Lupita, and hair cuts for my son w/​Edgar in the last 2 yrs. Staff are very professional and caring.
I love going to Letty’s to get pedicures with Lupita, I have brought nearly my entire family to her over the years and they love her pedicures, she is the best, takes her time (literally 2 hours) but well worth the time and money. I even took my bf who has never had a pedi and he told me that he will be a returning customer from this point forward.
I also got a hair cut this Friday, Edgar did a fantastic job, my hair looks and feels so healthy and full of body. I will be going there for the next years to come. Thank you Letty and staff.

I love going to Letty’s and getting a pedicure with Lupita. She is the best! My toes end up looking and feeling so smooth. She also takes her time (literally an hour) nothing fancy polish wise, but who cares you won’t have left over cuticles like at most other places. Lupita is so sweet and does an amazing pedicure. I always leave with perfect shaped nails and soft feet. A must try!

This place is way over priced. They charged me $ 95 to remove color, put toner, and don’t let them put hair food (conditioning treatment) in your hair because they said 3 processes =$ 95. I was shocked. Not to mention the stripping shampoo made my hair yellow which is why I needed the toner in first place. The worst part of this story is I went in for a partial weave.

So glad I gave Lettys a try. Eva cut my hair and she knows what she’s doing. No more cutting my own hair! I bought the hair product for my short do too. I’m so pleased with my haircut and my experience with Eva as my hairdresser!

Rude; took my daughter in for a trim, and was quoted $ 15.00. You know that scene in Coming To America where Prince Akeem pays $ 8 to have the guy snip off his rat tail? This woman literally cut ½ inch of hair off the base of my daughters hair, no thinning and no layering; these were like 22 hairs on the floor.$ 15, she says, literally 3 minutes after we came in. Reasonably clean shop. But… Never again.

I love going to Letty’s Hair Cut & Color. The price is good, the cuts are great and the people there treat me like I’m special. I’ve been going there for seven years.

I love the friendly service from Letty and Staff, they have reasonable prices. Every time I go there for my haircut and brazilian blowout I receive a lot of compliments. Love it!

So, right off the bat, I need a spanking for even setting foot into this place, let alone getting a chemical treatment here. Ha, ha, the joke’s on me; hopefully, it doesn’t have to be on you!
It does appear clean, and there are some strange hangers-​around, but the worst part of this place is Letty herself. I have actually gone to the trouble of calling the state board about this.
I got a perm that burned my scalp every moment the solution was on and it fell out that night. I went back to show her my gastly hair and she blames me saying I must have «did-​n some-​ting to eet».
Really? Well, at this point, I cannot walk around with it like I have for the last two days, so she sits me in the chair, and against my better judgement, PERMS ME AGAIN!
After talking to a friend of mine, I learn that perms are to be done at least two weeks apart.
Why, you ask? BECAUSE YOUR HAIR WILL FALL OUT!
And that is exactly what is happening. When I went back again to show her, and beg her for advice to make it stop falling out, she blames me again.
On the bright side, I have new crops of baby hair springing up in large patches all over my head. I am thinking of shaving it all and starting over… I’ll post a picture in about TWO YEARS!

It’s kind of a ghetto hair and nail shop. I asked my mom for a place to get a pedicure and she suggested «the new place by Albertsons». I called and only $ 15 for a spa pedicure so off mom and I went.
The massage chairs were comfortable and worked fine and I’m happy to report that the nail tech didn’t freak out by my leprosy looking stuff on my feet and calves brought on thanks to the fire ants in Dallas; she didn’t bother wearing gloves so I was happy. My mom seemed happy with her girl and her pedicure too.
Don’t expect a fancy or new place when you walk in here that its not but it was fairly clean for where it is and what you’re paying.
They asked if I wanted a salt scrub and foot mask and for an extra $ 8.00 I went for it, hell it was only $ 23.00 but this is when the gloves came on. Being rub and scrubbed with latex gloves is always interesting.
The girl who did my mother was super cute, very friendly and talkative. We both liked her mine was on the quit side but did an excellent calf massage, I could have sat there all day while she massaged my feet and calves.
Besides those two girls in the nail section there was a man and lady in there and all they did was take turns sitting in the empty massage chair, scratching off lottery tickets and eating it was very interesting I’m still trying to figure out what their purpose there was.
