I wish there were more stars to give. My wife and I recently moved back to San Diego from Texas and were trying to buy a home. However, the areas that we love and are familiar with are way out of our price range. We tried a few different realtors, including RedFin [YUCK], but had not luck. Our friend was buying a home and suggested we use her realtor. Thus, we gave Dustine a call and explained to her our plight. We told her the areas we love, like Coronado, La Jolla, Point Loma, etc., but could not afford it and the areas our previous realtors were pushing us to, i.e. Rancho Bernardo, Chula Vista, etc. were just not us. Nice homes, but uncultured and boring [personal opinion]. Thus, she asked us a bunch of questions to understand our personality and within 2 or three hours she sent us some areas that she thought we would like. She was totally right. Within about a week we found the perfect home in an area that we never really even knew about.
The purchasing of the home was a little stressful, but Dustine stood with us during the entire process and really fought to get what we wanted.
I love working with Dustine and totally recommend her. She has a great ability to understand her client and go from puppy to bulldog in less than a second. You tell her what you want and she will work hard to get. When we save up enough to our home in Coronado, we will totally use her again.

As soon as we walked in we were in love with it — but so were lots of other people! There were like 10 offers in less than a week!
We trusted her advice all along — starting with the bidding process and we are glad we did. She has an excellent understanding of the industry and the market. She advised us perfectly. We did not want to lose the house, but we did not want to pay too much either. We were expecting an actual number for the counter-​offer, but it just said something like — make another offer at «best and highest». That threw us for a loop, but Dustine knew what to do.
This is our first house and we had never been through the process before. Dustine explained everything to us, kept us informed and always replied to text messages, calls and emails.
She has great referrals too — for the property inspection, the roof inspection, termites, plumbing, remodeling, painting, moving, etc.
After the inspection she advised us on what repairs to request. This is also tricky b/​c if you ask for too much the sale could fall through, but it turned out great.
Dustine gave us sound advice and guidance through the entire process — start to finish. We really felt like a team. At the very end, we met the seller and everyone was happy. We even took pictures.
