Hair By Alyssa

This is my first Unilocal review and it’s because I’m in love with my hair! Went to Alyssa for a hair cut (4″ off) plus a «fix up» for my color. I had an ombré for about 6 months and I was looking to touch it up. She did a fantastic job! When I first left the salon, I loved the the cut, color enhancement, and the style (beachy waves). However the next day I realized that when I put my hair half up-​half down the back parts of my hair (that never see the sun) was much darker than I wanted. I texted her about this issue and she gladly put me in her schedule the following week (no additional charges). My hair is even more amazing! Absolutely love the entire hair color (put light strands in for the back and lightened a couple strands by my face for a contrast) and she re-​trimmed my layers (that were «weighted down» that she didn’t notice the first time). She even re-​styled my hair! Alyssa is personable, goes above and beyond, and she did a fantastic job! I will definitely be coming back

I am convinced that Alyssa wakes every morning at dawn and burns incense in reflection of some ancient and wise hair goddess. My hair always looks perfect when she does it for me! I’ve been seeing her for my colour for over a year, since I decided to go blonde, and now I feel like I can’t trust anyone else with my colour. Not only is she a wonderful colourist, but she’s funny and personable, and incredibly easy to sit in the chair for several hours with while she makes your hair look perfect. I have naturally dry hair, but wanted to try out being blonde, and she has really worked some magic because I’ve had very little breakage from the colour and my hair always feels healthy and soft. I would send anyone I know to Alyssa for colour and cuts alike! I know I always leave the salon feeling confident and fabulous!

I’ve been going to Alyssa for about half a year now. She’s amazing. I literally sit down in the chair and let her work her magic, I let her do whatever she wants. I’m happy every time I leave, I’ve never been disappointed with her work.
She has a real gift with color. She thinks about each piece of hair and takes her time. I never feel rushed to leave the salon.
I have very thick hair and Alyssa knows just how to cut it to make it light and not too poofy. I love sitting in the chair and chatting with her, she’s the nicest! I can see her having a very successful career.

Alyssa has been doing my hair for years! She’s amazing! I love the color and highlights she does, It always looks perfect and rich. I love love her haircuts, the cut always holds the shape for a long time afterwards. I highly recommend her!!!

Alyssa is great. I’m really happy with my highlights and love the way she cuts my hair. My color looks very natural and my hair feels healthy. In my experience, it’s really hard to find someone who does a consistently good job with natural-​looking highlights (and I have even been to some really expensive places in New York with A-​list celebrity client lists). The products she uses don’t damage or dry out my hair. As an added bonus, I really love the way she cuts my hair. My hair is straight and pretty fine, but she gives it some body and volume without having a ton of layers that require styling. Alyssa is really nice and talented. I would definitely recommend her!

I just moved to San Diego and was super nervous about finding a new hairstylist, but I’m so glad I went to Alyssa. She talked me through the color change I wanted to try, told me the truth, and gave me the best tips and tricks to keep my newly platinum hair bright and beautiful. She stayed long after the salon closed to do my hair, and I really couldn’t be happier! Such a sweet person :)

I was looking for a good hairstylist for a long time and was recommended to go to Alyssa. After seeing the results, I will probably never go to anyone else! I love it! You really don’t have to say much for her to understand exactly what you want. She knows what will look good on you and she always makes sure you’re happy with it afterwards! Alyssa is an amazing person and a wonderful hairstylist. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to come out feeling better and they went in for a hairstyle.

She’s a sweetheart, very talented and GREAT with colors! She took care if me for a year + than unfortunately I moved out of town and sadly I haven’t found anyone to «substitute» her yet. Its gonna be hard.
She’s young and motivated very up to date with everything related to her profession.
