This review is only for Jenny, my stylist. They work sort of independently in there so I have no experience with any other services or stylist besides Jenny. Jenny has been cutting my hair for years now. She was a referral from a co-​worker who goes to her religiously, but I got to know Jenny more through a church program for our kids. She is a great lady and a wonderful stylist! She’s funny, talkative and understanding. We’ve gotten to a stage where I would tell her that I’m thinking of cutting my hair short and she said «no, you’re not ready for that. I know you!» Haha. It’s true. I appreciate that she is so frank and straight forward and does it with humor. The one thing that I absolutely love is that she doesn’t use a razor-​type instrument to cut my hair. I found that a lot of salons did this and it made the ends curl out. She cuts everything with scissors. She’s very comfortable with hair and color. She is super sweet and even offered to teach me how to cut my own kids hair at home! One time I went there with a headache and she offered me an apple to help with my headache. I highly recommend Jenny!

This review is for Hannah who does nails. Wish I’d go to her more often. She pays great attention to detail and does a wonderful job. She is calm, patient and thorough. She helps me pick nice colors and my nails always end up looking perfect!

Just went there for my first time and Deniz was fantastic. He was very friendly and very good at his job.

I purchased a groupon for a haircut with Deniz… Now I wish I would have NEVER done that!!! First off, I specified I didn’t want to trim more than an inch maybe two from my hair which was waist long… And I wanted layers but up to my chin because my hair is thick and wavy and if they’re are to short it gets poofy…
Well he did the TOTAL OPPOSITE of what I said now my hair is short… he cut about 4 inches and the layers are HORRIBLE!!! They look like bangs all around my hair… And UNEVEN… I HATE MY HAIRCUT, the EXPERIENCE AND WILL NEVER RETURN!!! EXTREMELY UNHAPPY!!!

I’ve had my hair uncut, untrimmed for more than two years before I finally decided to change it up so I went to Salon Sol due to the overwhelming good reviews. I got my hair cut with Deniz and was super happy with the overall quality and cut of the style. I showed him a picture and he was able to work with my hair and gave me the exact cut that I was hoping for. The head massage during shampooing was a plus as well ;)
Overall, a great experience, I did not regret the decision of cutting 4 inches off of my super duper long hair at all. I will definitely be back at Salon Sol for my next cut with Deniz for sure, I highly recommend Deniz for anyone looking to get a good haircut where the stylist will take his time to listen to your request and won’t rush through the haircut. Loving my hair!

Deniz was a nice guy. Not a talker, but good with hair. I gave him no direction, just things I didn’t like about my hair. For one, it’s always looked so out of control. He suggested a simple style with more layers, but no product. He told me how to take care of my hair and added a cute curled look. I’ll add my picture and you guys can compare to my profile pic!

I first met Deniz thru his groupon offer and I’ve been a regular client ever since. He is a amazing stylist. I have baby find hair and he has a way of making my hair look so full. He also colors my hair and it always comes out beautiful, shiny and the color saturation is awesome. Thank you Deniz, you are the best!!!

This review is for Hannah, an amazingly detailed manicurist. She is gentle, thorough, and meticulous. Hannah is also friendly and sweet. I can’t wait to go back for a pedicure. Prices are reasonable, especially for the quality of service. Hidden gem. Treat yourself!

I have been going to Josie for 2+ years now and I absolutely love her.
She takes her own appointments so you can’t get it through the receptionist.
Josie is great. I have been trying different hairstyles every few months and i am so confident in her abilities. Show her a picture of a style you like and she will look at the picture and then at your hair and come up with something great that you can easily manage and looks great!

I tried this pace for the first time today. It’s in a good area. Very central and easy to get to. The prices are very reasonable and I am super happy with my hair. My stylist Michelle did an amazing job! I’m so happy I finally found a stylist I can go to on a regular basis. My search for a stylist is finally over!

This review is for a Groupon deal I had with Deniz. I’m going to do my best not to rant, but I was really unhappy :(
1. He showed up 15 minutes late to the appointment with no apology. His receptionist told me he would be back from his LUNCH break soon.
2. Didn’t talk to me or even acknowledge my presence the whole appointment. I know it makes it hard to chat when there’s a language barrier, but he wouldn’t even look at me while styling my hair. He was looking around the room and at other clients the entire time!
3. Used practices that are very bad for hair. Roughly yanked on hair tangles with a brush, removed the water from my hair by twisting it tightly like a rope, etc. Super bad for hair!
4. Used no products at all. If he’s trying to save money, that’s fine. But not even a heat protectant before using the blow dryer on the highest setting? My hair is already damaged enough, thanks.
5. The worst part? My haircut was done in 5 minutes and it was BAD. I’ve never had such a choppy cut in my life. Picture attached.
Overall, NOT a good experience. Hopefully he treats his non-​Groupon clients much better!

Let me begin with… If I were able to give Tommy 5-​Bonus Stars I would! I came in with a horrible cut and bad color, worked with me to understand my vision, and saved the day and my hair! He was professional, fun, and incredibly good! In summary, he is all the rave and I highly recommend that you visit him for a new and fun look, or just to get an incredible style and color! Thank you Tommy!

I went to Tommy to get my hair colored and I love it! He did an amazing job and gave me just what I wanted. When I called, he scheduled me for the very next day, which was also new years eve. The whole process took him 4 – 5 hours and he was amazing the whole time. He had plans for the night but made me comfortable the whole time, and didn’t rush me when it was getting late.
I went in to color my hair purple and pink, and he is very experienced with this. He had to bleach my hair and he did a great job. My hair still feels healthy and looks great. And the colors he gave me were so vibrant, they were just beautiful.
He also gave me a haircut that I love too. Overall, he made me look and feel amazing. I absolutely love it and I plan on going back to him for every cut and color I will get while I live in this area.

I went to Deniz and he did great! With very little direction and a couple of photos I showed him, he was able to give me the exact cut I wanted.
I dye my own hair and hate when stylists harp on me about it — not him — he gave me some good tips and told me I chose a good color.

I bought a Groupon for a Deep Conditioning, hair cut, and style with Deniz. At first I was a little skeptical because it was a bit difficult to find in the evening, and it took a little bit to get my appointment started, but once Deniz started working with me, I was super impressed.
Not only was the scalp massage that was part of the deep conditioning process AMAZING, Deniz was super talented. He was extremely knowledgeable and certain about what kind of cut would be good for my hair type, just by asking a few questions and observing my hair. Also, his blowout was INCREDIBLE. I’ve never seen anything like it… He used zero product, two round brushes, and a hair drier, and gave me a Victoria Secret blowout in about 10 minutes, which is super impressive, considering how thick and unruly my hair can be.
I would definitely recommend!

I’ve been seeing Joise for many years now. She is an expert in color and sort a perfectionist. On my latest visit, she thought that the color turned out a little bland and it washed me out, so the last minute she added some low lights. I love this on the fly approach. My highlights always look natural and never over-​processed. I appreciate her recommendations and suggestions about color and cut. Did i mention, she really knows now to give a perfect bob haircut.
She is fun and easy to talk to. Go and see Joise!

I went here for the first time today because I purchased a Groupon for services. The place is in a little business mall, almost hard to see because the signs are rather small. Anyways, I came in to a warm, welcoming salon. Everyone is really nice and happy there!
I got my hair done by Deniz. He was amazing! He definitely knows what he’s doing! My hair looked horrendous when I came in, afterwards my hair was transformed into a silky smooth masterpiece. I also got a blonde Ombré done which looks awesome! This place is so worth it!
