I have been here a few times in the past year. Usually one of my favorite places when I visit this area. Tonight was very disappointed. The server seemed to forget we were there. Slow service and the food was not that great. My pasta was under cooked. The stuffed mushrooms were cold. Not the Bella’s experience I was looking forward to.

I am sure the food is good if you can make it pass the front desk. Unfortunately we were not as lucky to get to try their food. We went in on a busy Saturday night WITHOUT a reservation. It was our first time there and We were expecting the wait to be about an hour(which we wouldnt mind). I walked in to this horrible hostess, she didnt say a word to me so i said«Hi table for 2 please» then she said«Whats the name» I said«Oh we didnt have a reservation but we are willin gto wait and put our name on the wait list».she then said«Sorry theres no waitlists. we are booked solid until closing time but you can walk around to the bar and see if you can find anything there, good luck» then immadietly continued to talk to her coworker. I was just standing there.STUNNED. I understand it was busy and they were all booked up but they really need to train their staffs, esp the hostess to talk to customers better. I was very upset, not about the fact that we couldnt get a table but it was how we got treated by the hostess. That was my first and last time there. What a shame!!!

Today is Mother’s Day and we had reservations for 6pm, it was 740pm and we had not been served with our food yet. The manager said that the kitchen was fully staffed, as we had asked if there was a staffing issue. I’m not really sure what the issue was today/tonight, but we walked out. Probably won’t be back, the manager should have offered us something which she did not.

I could maybe look past the ridiculous wait time for mediocre food, were it not for the fact that the women’s restroom had no soap and when I alerted the hostess, she offered me Lysol kitchen wipes for my hands. I don’t even want to think about how/if the staff wash their hands. If you value your time or your health, don’t come here.

Tell me how a restaurant can’t process your credit card! I’m trapped here while my dinner partners go to find an ATM so we can pay the bill. The waitress apologized that the system is down but if you tell us your credit card number well put it through tomorrow! Unbelievable! And to top it off the manager doesn’t have the courtesy to come by and apologize. Won’t be back and will definitely be spreading the word how thoughtless they were toward their customers!

Food was good, I had the swordfish. Sat at the bar and the bar staff was pretty bad. Can’t see me going back any time soon.

Just got home from celebrating my father’s 60th birthday dinner and wish that we could have a do-over. The waitress was nice, but the food was awful. I had the crabmeat risotto. It was bland and the flavor didn’t resemble seafood in any shape or form. My wife had a pan roasted cod loin which she described as flavorless(no seasoning). Our son had pasta and meatballs and the meatballs were inedible. Dad said his veal Parmesan was not good as well. Appetizers were subpar, although the stuffed mushrooms were the highlight of the meal(although, that’s not saying much). In retrospect, we may have had a better meal at a local Olive Garden. I have no intention of returning to Bella’s and encourage others to seek other options if you want a good meal.

I went to Bella’s last night for dinner and sat in the bar. The service was horrible and staff was grumpy. We had an appetizer and then 5 minutes later our meals came out. They need to work on spacing out when the food courses arrive. We were never asked if our food was okay and then the plates were never cleared from the appetizer. The waitress needed a hospitality course. The food was okay. Rice pilaf from a box, come on, so 1982, they can do better than that. An expensive bill for low quality food. The Phantom gourmet was wrong, last night the chicken parm was bland and unappealing. I will be going back to Spazio’s in Braintree.

I’ve only visited twice, & sat at the bar with friends. A nice after work, happy hour spot. Crowded both times and takes time to get bartenders attention, drinks and appetizers were good. Lots of smokers are regulars at the bar and although they go outside to smoke, the smell kind of lingers around. Restaurant is nice and I’ll definitely have to try a meal in there at some point.

Would have been 3 stars if the front of house would have been a bit friendlier. Bar staff were great as was our waitress, but the rest need to take a hospitality course. Most of the reviews on here about Bella’s have negative things to say about the staff, you’d think the owners would address this, maybe its the owners at front of house so they don’t care, i don’t know, but i know of at least 3 persons i met that needed serious attitude adjustments, or get another job. Also i notice that time is a problem here between ordering and receiving items, it seems everything from bread to drinks to main meals, takes too long. We waited a long time for our apps and dinners, i’d cut them some slack if we ordered something special, but chicken parm and chicken marsala takes about 8 – 10 minutes, not 35 – 45. Yes the chicken parm was tasty and it was hot, and there was plenty of it, but timing and staff attitude negate this from being a good review and will make sure i consider other places when choosing a local Italian eatery, after all, food quality and quantity is only part of the dining experience.

A warm, friendly atmosphere and delicious Italian food. The food was great and the portions big enough to make it necessary to take home a doggie bag.

I’ve been there twice, and in both occasions the food was great, the staff were very professional, very clean. I will surely return to Bella’s.

An episode of Phantom Gourmet piqued my interest in this place. I love me some chicken parm, and they featured that so that’s what I went for. It was definitely a nice sized portion and it was a good chicken parm. The sauce was piled on pretty thick, and while it was definitely delicious sauce, I had to scrape a bunch off to the side to get the proportion of chicken to sauce just right. I didn’t like the meatballs unfortunately. The service was not attentive, and over all pretty slow, which was discouraging when we were there at such a slow time of day.

Here on business and staying at the Holiday Inn. I’ll first say the food was great. I had the Veal Marsala and it was very good. However, it took well over an hour to get my dinner, and I only saw my server 3 times while I waited with no apparent concern as I looked at my watch. In addition, I was dinning alone in a dining room that was 1⁄3rd filled and, even as I was holding a binder and tablet, was seated right behind a large, loud group. As I was walking back to the hotel, I saw the server with another fellow out back doing something. I can only assume she was doing double-duty, and that there’s a serious issue with ownership/management that has the staff doing something other than taking care of customers. Again, awesome food if you have a few hours to kill waiting to eat. I honestly wish I would have simply had dinner in the hotel instead.

We’ve been coming here for the last 18 years. A wonderful upscale Resturant with super awesome food. The bar is a great place to hang and eat with friends. We love their pizza. Yummy!

I was a big welcome when you walk in the front door. The place is lively and always packed, that’s a great sign. I will admit I eat the same thing almost every time I go in there. I start with the Caesar salad and then I get the chicken piccata with mashed. I always ask for a little extra sauce on the potato and they always take care of me. The portion size are tremendous, always enough for leftovers. The prices R great and the service is what you would expect from a great restaurant. Congratulations to the owner for maintaining such a great place for so long.

On the road again and this trip landed me in Rockland. Bella’s was very close to my hotel soon I stopped in. Very crowded which can be expected on a Friday night but I was amazed by just how loud it was. There was a woman whose voice was like nails on a blackboard… It’s all I could hear for 15 minutes! The service was slow and I got the impression that since I was by myself… No big tip. The food was delicious… Clams casino and veal parm… Wonderful. However… 2 drinks were just as much as my entrée!!!

We loved it! Sat in the bar area with my kids. Service 5 stars food 4 stars. Shrimp scampi app to die for! Soup of the day was good but so hot I was thinking microwaved. Kids pasta with sauce great, ravioli great, chicken piccata delish but chicken was dry and overcooked, pizza good but not great. Will def go back and try other dishes. It was a lifesaver when traffic on route 3 was at a standstill. Played keno and had a great time. The whole staff was great! Do yourself a favor and try it if your in the area.

Yummy red sauce. had it on the eggplant rolletini. Good chicken picatta, a tad bit lemony, but good. Rice pilaf and grilled veggies were perfect. Will be going back. Only reason no fifth star is the service. When I arrived at the bar, I ordered a drink and told the server that I wanted to order a meal to go. She got my drink and then did not check back in after 15 minutes to place my food order. I flagged down another server, and he took my order.

This place makes a Caesar that’s a giant pile of win. And the table bread is very very nice. Halibut Francese is lovely. Chicken Parm is good but missing something I can’t put my finger on, no the best I’ve had. Water was never empty. Wine came when requested. Timing can be challenging for a large party but everything seemed to come out when it should. They did well with serving and cutting and plating in a cake we brought from outside as well. I’m especially impressed because we were like the 4th or 5th birthday party in that place so they werent’ just managing one large party, but many. The décor in here is really nice. Cozy somehow despite being so vast. Overall, good choice.
