I have eaten here about three times for lunch, each time about two months between each visit… The service is a bit slow even at the«lunch hour»… The food is decent not bad, but not amazing. It the row of restaurants i guess you need a choice…

CLOSED as of April 1st. They are directing folks to their sister restaurant in Redwood City, Crouching Tiger, which is far better, IMHO.

This place is good when you need nourishment quickly and aren’t too picky. We’ve been here multiple times and we keep coming here when we’re short on time. Décor is somewhat lacking(water damaged ceiling tiles, etc.) but they always have room. The soup they serve before main course is not bad, but you might want to add some salt. As for«main course», I recommend their vegan deluxe item, less chance of it being lukewarm. That being said, their Mongolian beef is ok, but be wary of the burnt chilies, they pack a punch and the texture is somewhat lacking(being burnt and all). It’s basically a Chinese fast food place with emphasis on fast. If you got the time, I’d recommend amicis pizza which are located in the same building or togos if you feel so inclined.

Got the war wonton soup yesterday and enjoyed it as much as I would enjoy any won ton soup from any random chinese place. A little salty and a little pricey for my liking. But I was inspired to go home and cook myself a waaay tastier meal, make lunch for the next day, and make breakfast in the morning. I was getting kind of lazy so I guess I should thank them for reminding me how great my cooking really is.

This place has become a disaster. Food is so and so. We went today for lunch and took them about an hour to serve us(3 ppl). There were a couple who came way after us and for some reason, they got the menu first, food first and by the time they finished, our meals weren’t even served yet. I ordered brown rice with the lunch. It smells funky and old(smells like 2 day or more old). I checked with the waitress, she said that she’s been having this everyday. That is so lame. I’ve been having brown rice for the past 3 years and if my rice smells that bad, I would normally throw it away. Service, oh, did we actually get any service? Talking about being served after 1 hour. or get served with one menu or one glass of water or one dish for 3 ppl. This is really not acceptable.

The spicy eggplant and shrimp is at least 4 stars. Ask for it if not on menu. The house wines are not very good, and the house red wine is sometimes stale. But you can get a decent meal here, and they have takeout.

Over the years, we’ve eaten here many times… and I guess the lure of how good it used to be kept calling us back. Sadly, we’re turning our backs on Yeah. The food we had tonight was super salty = super unhealthy. We’ll be downing quarts of water tonight!

Seems to have gone downhill over the last few years in regards to food and service. They will make any dish vegetarian using meatless products which is a plus for me. Pretty much the only plus. The food used to be amazing, so tasty, fresh, and presented well for a casual Chinese food place. Unfortunately in the last couple of years the food seems to be thrown together and put on the plate in haste. I can cut some slack in the presentation area when a restaurant is jammed packed, but this place is dead most of the time recently so it seems a bit more care could be used. Food just tastes bland which is sad when I remember how great it USED to be. Service is terrible. I’ve had many different experiences that lead me to say this. Hot soup being spilled into a friend’s lap by the waitress(no offer to even bring napkins or a towel to clean her pants with)…waiting forever for drinks or the bill… being told 5 minutes to closing that we need to leave so they can close. You may wonder why I seem to return here, but someone in my family still seems to enjoy it. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unfortunately. Sorry Yeah, but you guys need improvement in many areas.

Came here on a Saturday evening for my daughter’s softball end-of-year party. I guess they chose this place because it’s empty so we can have almost the whole place to ourselves. The food is not very good. We had the mushu pork, chow mien and pork chop. The mushu pork and pork chop were not too bad. The chow mien was very salty. Definitely wont come back again.

Generally good, legit chinese food. Dishes comes out rather fast, prices are decent, and the portions are good. Mongolian Chicken — a bit on the spicy side but good flavor. Chicken Fried Rice — eggs are done well in the fried rice, very light and airy. Lunch specials are a great deal for around $ 7 and come with soup and rice.

Cheap, decent Chinese food around the area. You’re always served with a cup of hot and sour upon seated. Food comes out quick and really hot. I’ve had their combination pan fried chow mein, string bean with beef, three deluxe szechuan noodle soup and spicy beef stew noodle soup. The pan fried noodles were meh, but the noodle soups were good! The portion is fairly big and I always have to pack half the order to go. Be sure to come a little earlier to beat the lunch rush, or come after the lunch rush, or else service can be a bit slow.

I’ll start off by saying that I can walk here from my home, the Happy Hour 4−7pm offers me $ 4 wine & wells, and 2 for 1 appetizers — «YAY! I AM A FAN!» It took us over a year to come in to try this palce due to the 2 star rating here on Unilocal. That coupled with the name«YEAH» really didn’t give us any sort of draw to the place. But last night? We were out on a walk together taking in the fresh night air and we saw the Happy Hour sign offer and decided — what the heck, right?! The woman seated us in a booth and gave us menus right away. They had a great selection of items on the menu. We got 1 Chicken dish and got 2 appetizers to share. Sezchuan Chicken(nice & unique touch was the huge black mushrooms in a spicy sauce), brown rice for 2, Spicy double cooked Tofu and Pot Stickers. YUM! Zak even said this place was more than a 2! I think he was thinking more along the lines of a 3, but for me? I’m sticking with a 4 because the pan seared pot stickers were DELICIOUS& so was the sauce for dipping(Zak saved it for the tofu). The Tofu was my FAVORITE! It was so good! Spiced up just right with chunks of garlic, onions, & peppers. The Sezchuan Chicken was very good. I couldn’t eat too much of the sauce as it was pipin spicy for me, but Zak really dug it. We DID laugh though at the fact that perhaps this place caters more to the Chinese food lovin restuarant for white people(not so much«authentic» Chinese seekers). And as a person of that demographic, I say, YUM! In other words, EATYOURHEARTOUTPANDAEXPRESS! LOL We’ll be back for sure — esp during Happy Hour!

Before: Came here with a coupon. After: I don’t think I’d come back even with a coupon. I’ve had Chinese food countless times; I AM Chinese. So please, heed my words. My biggest disappointment was their Dragon Eggplant. Their online menu described it as a «lightly breaded eggplant stuffed with minced shrimp and served with gravy». Understandably, I was extremely looking forward to this. And even though I couldn’t find it on their menu when I got there, I proceeded to ask for it and they said they could still make it. — Lightly breaded? It was a big layer of batter that I just had to fork off. — Stuffed? THEYJUSTSLITTWOWHOLEEGGPLANTSDOWNTHEMIDDLE. — Minced shrimp? They just stuffed whole pieces of shrimp inside. If you pictured what I pictured in the former, the latter was disappointing, and that’s an understatement. No wonder it’s not on the menu; shame on me. I just had to post pictures of this heartbreak. We also got Beef chow fun, which was probably a 4⁄10 on my scale. It wasn’t very flavorful; the noodles were still white when they should be brown. And the noodles were kind of slippery, when they shouldn’t be. Their House Special Pan Fried noodles were good though, crispy noodles with seafood and brown gravy. That was the only thing I liked about lunch, and the only reason I’m even giving 2 stars. We also got Mongolian Chicken, which was decent. But there’s just no reparation for the Eggplant and Chow Fun. The End.

I really wish I could’ve given this place at least 3 stars, but the cold restaurant, slow service and questionable food makes this a 2 star for me. I ordered a chicken, broccoli, mushroom and carrot dish(name I could’t remember). While very generous with the chicken, I found the vegetables to be lacking. Rice was all right, but I’ve seen bigger bowls of rice given out at street vendors in other countries. Restaurant was cold and uninviting… i mean, really cold. Like nipples stayed hard because it was so cold. Sorry for the TMI, but it was merely an example and not a reality. I am no small girl and I got the weight to keep me warm, but when my sweater and scarf aren’t enough to keep me warm and I find it warmer outside than in your restaurant… baby, it’s cold inside. For me, there was something off about the chicken and the first bite just turned me off completely. Veggies were nice, but they were very stingy with it. Not sure if I’d give this place a second shot… I’d go to Togo’s next door before here.

Yeah! was a bit of a no-no for me. It was a reminder that I really need to Unilocal!places before I dive in. My excuse, end of a hard day and it was close to my hotel. Once inside I realized it was more of a lunchtime place, clean and friendly but not somewhere I wanted to relax after work. So, I ordered takeout which was probably a blessing because I am a repeat offender when it comes to over-ordering when I dine in but not when I take out. The food didn’t offend but it was not good. My pork was bland, overcooked and hard, served in a gloopy sauce with tasteless vegetables and the noodles were just a sticky mess. Absolutely nothing about it that would make me want to go back and give them my hard-earned dollars.

Yeah fits my needs so well and almost deserves 5 stars in my book! Here are those needs that it fits– 1) A quick dinner out with a friend: we each had a glass of wine and then we enjoyed edaname, brown rice fried rice(we loved that it was brown AND not greasy!), and a chicken dish. It was yummy and cheap! 2) Sometimes I need good easy, take-out for me and a friend: I got a chinese chicken salad and hot & sour soup and he had a sandwich with fries; they definitely have a lot of variety! 3) On an(embarrassingly) regular basis I come here just to order a small hot & sour soup. It’s really good hot & sour soup, only $ 2.75, and they have yet to complain about my very frequent order of just soup(and my payment with a credit card ;)) Thanks Yeah! Oh Yeah!!! :)

Do not order any of the American food here! Unfortunately I had to learn that the hard way… I was not the only one who felt this way because I over heard the elderly couple at the next table yelling at the waiter about how they ordered two medium rare burgers and they were delivered way overcooked. The older lady was saying«You guys need to just stick to what you know, Chinese food!» The poor waiter that looked completely overwhelmed, was very generous, overworked, but generous… I would go back there just to try the chinese food.

An Americanized Chinese food restaurant and bar that is very tired on the inside… Hot and Sour soup were complimentary which was okay. It came with a slice of bread?!? …randomness! The bread wasn’t super fresh nor was it stale, it was ehhh. Beef Chow Fun — tasted more like the noodles, Fun, with a light coat of soy sauce, sprinkled with sparse pieces of beef, onion, and bean sprouts… — oh yea, the noodles were super wide, not very soft, and were all clumped together! …ai yah!

Like my ability to tape House for my wife, Yeah has lately become inconsistent. We have our staples or the«go to» dishes that we order on a regular basis. The Kung Pao chicken for example at times comes out fresh with large chunks of white meat, but other times not so fresh and tastes like the chicken was raised in the projects. The spicy orange beef is either meaty or greasy depending on the night. For the record, I prefer meaty over greasy. The rice has been on the sticky side as well. Overall not a bad place, but nothing to write a review about. Oh wait.
