Jade is an electric server with a knack for making a mean mojito. You’d be doing yourself a disservice by not requesting one from her specifically.

Get the Mojito!!! It’s the best in all of PORTLAND!!! Especially if the bartender Jade makes it!

Came down here with a few friends from out of town today. They had a packed house! They had the both the NFL games on, and we were to seat ourselves. Our server came by shortly after and they took our orders. The food was great, beers were great. We got the Poutine, Pearl Burger and the Chicken Pesto Sandwich, Delicious!

One thing… AVOCADOFRIES. Great place to watch a game and drink some beers(although, wish they had more IPA selection), but also a date-friendly atmosphere. Good location.

Dim lighting, group seating, & a lot of tv’s! The service was great but the food was okay. Nothing special. I ordered the Pesto Chicken Sandwich– basic. My Dad ordered the pearl burger-eh. My Mom went with the chicken nachos, meh. My friend ordered the Mac & Cheese– she said it was delicious but very rich. Overall, ok, I saw hey have a good happy hour until 6 pm and then again 9– close and a Taco Tuesday. Mostly men at this place… again, it is a sports bar! I like Henrys Tavern better.

We had a super great experience yesterday. It wasn’t very busy — but the service was fantastic. There are tons of tvs so we were able to watch our game. THEMUSIC: awesome playlist(led zeppelin, alabama shakes, black keys, jimi hendrix, etc…) We had wings and avocado fries; both were delicious. Bloody Mary was good, complete with cheese skewer. Decent sized tap list.

Over paid for a margarita with very little alcohol in it. I bought a $ 5 shot of well the tequila and added it to make it make it taste the margaritas should taste. With that being said, the ambiance was great. Sports for days and decent seating. Very very very over priced for below average drinks and food.

This is a fun place to come and drink beer and watch sports. The prices for beer are reasonable and the food is pretty solid. Some of the portions are a little small for the price(5 wings for $ 8), but they usually have a daily special($ 1 tacos on Tuesday) to help the bargain hunter out. Overall, if you want to grab some good beer on tap and watch sports in NW, this place should be in the conversation.

**update** I went back in with my boyfriend to give them a second chance after a not so great experience and I have to say it was a million times better. The owner reached out to me and I think for a small business that is huge. He gained a lot of respect with both my boyfriend and myself. Our server this time had fun purple hair and a great personality. I would happily sit in her section anytime. We ordered the mac and cheese and Pearl burger both of which were delicious. I will be back. I’m convinced our first visit was a fluke and we were very pleased with our second visit.

First and foremost, let me start by saying I have never eaten here before. The menu looked amazing and I was excited to know they had NFL Sunday ticket so I intended to dine here while watching a football game this Sunday morning. This plan was halted and I never got past my original phone call. The woman who answered the phone was extremely rude and made it a point to emphasize her irritation at me calling while they were busy on a Sunday morning. As someone who hosted at the busiest Sunday brunch restaurant in Portland(Mother’s Bistro & Bar), I never think it is acceptable to treat an inquiring guest poorly, no matter how busy you are. If all their employees treated guests as that woman did over the phone, it was sure to be an unfavorable experience. Her phone etiquette was so appalling that I changed direction in my car even though I was only a few blocks away and missed the opportunity to try out what looked like a promising new brunch sports bar.

Nice spot. Tons of TVs. Very friendly bartender. I had the BeLTA and its one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. Fries have some kind of Cajun spice on them, a heads up if you don’t like that. I’m not a fan but the fries were still good.

Great place to watch sports and grab a delicious bite to eat paired with awesome drinks. It gets crowded and rightly so. Went here twice in one weekend after other places did not live up to it. So many TVs it was like football heaven. Parking was available and service was reliable. Sit on couches, in booths, or at tables. Seriously, go here!

My husband and I camped out all day here for the Patriots game. We sat at the bar and really enjoyed the bloody Mary’s and Moscow mules. The bartenders were so friendly! We didn’t order much food so I can’t attest to the food but the menu sounded good. I would definitely try the food next time. I’ll be back to watch football here– it opens early enough for the 10am games.

Came here to watch football games on Sunday. It was pretty crowded but not overwhelming — enough space for the different groups of fans. There are a lot of TVs with multiple games on which was nice. Ordered bottomless mimosas, Eggs Benedict, and the Jack Daniels Kalua Pig Pancakes. Yes that exists and yes you should absolutely order it. So. Good.

Came here for happy hour and was blown away by the experience. Got an outdoor sitting which was quite relaxing and laid back. We tried the steak quesadilla, buffalo chicken wings and shrimp poppers. The steak quesadilla was our favorite. It had a nice smokey TexMex flavors to it. I liked my shrimp poppers a lot; jumbo shrimp filled with cream cheese. I’ve not had anything like it. Chicken wings were fine but nothing special. The portion was very generous for Happy hour style. Service was fast and upbeat. I would like to be a regular here. It’s such a nice addition to the Pearl neighborhood.

The Fields Bar and Grill offers another great al fresco(and inside, should you wish) dining option in a casual, sports bar oriented spot that manages to not feel at all like one. A very nice happy hour spot, but even if you miss the great bargains, the rest of the menu is surprisingly good. I went with Korean spare rib tacos, chicken tacos, and a beet salad, and the wife had the fish tacos and fries. The beet salad was a work of art, and yet it probably was my least favorite dish of the entire dinner. The Korean tacos were out of this world. Great flavor, mildly spicy, and 100% delish. The Ninkasi Lux Lager complemented everything quite well. The Fields Bar is a great find for a casual sports bar location with very good food and a nice outdoor dining area should you wish to focus on the food rather than the numerous televisions. The location couldn’t be better, right on 11th street and across from Tanner Springs Park. Was too stuffed from dinner to sample dessert, so no review of the sweets. Update: A second trip to The Fields, and I’m happy to say that it was every bit as good as the last time. Still went with the Baja Fish Tacos, the Korean BBQ Tacos, but this time added the nachos. Everything was top notch again. Four stars for quality and consistency.

Happy hour at The Fields Bar and Grill was pretty impressive. I had a Caesar Salad, BBQ Pork Sliders, and shared Loaded Nachos with a friend. My salad was fresh and crisp, and it had a nice touch of being embellished with a slice of kiwi fruit. Even the croutons on it were«house baked» and were suitably crunchy instead of being hard as rocks like on HH salads at some other places. The sliders had generous portions of savory shredded pork with BBQ sauce and crispy cole slaw. We added grilled chicken to the already«loaded» nachos, and it was stacked high with fresh ingredients. Everything was well prepared and immensely satisfying! I had not heard of this place before, and had just discovered it on Unilocal(of course!) by searching for«Happy Hours» on a map of the Pearl District. Maybe not too many other people know about it(yet) either. It was not crowded at all, and finding a parking spot nearby was super easy.(I describe it as being in the«far northern end of the Pearl», so maybe its less densely populated location has something to do with the«ease» of parking and eating there.) Anyway, I liked everything about The Fields. The service was friendly and efficient, the space itself is very attractive, and our food was wonderful!
