I’ve had mixed experiences with this place, and so the most I can say for this place is that it seems pretty inconsistent. I first sought this spot out during the summer after scouring through reviews and learning they have live music every night, plus it looks like a cute hang out. Well my first visit I was pretty disappointed, they did not have the promised live music, and for some reason there was only one server for the whole place. We went for dinner and it literally took about 3 hours from start to finish. Luckil at the time that was fine as we wern’t in a hurry and it was a nice summer night. The server was apologietic and it wasn’t ultimately his fault, but I just couldn’t understand why they were so understaffed. That whole experience was enough to turn me off to this place for several months. It wasn’t until recently that I figured I would give it another shot and grab a drink. Obviously I had much lower expectations, and this time was much better. They had a great selection of draft beers, the vibe was nice, and there was finally live music!

Very cool spot, very nice ambiance and flow. My hubby and I go here for drinks and hors devours and we have never been disappointed. Very quaint and they often have live music as well. The servers remember us which is also very cool.

Friendly staff. We visited here on NYE and they had live bands. The place is small but the drinks were decent and everything was decorated nicely. It appeared that the other guests were very satisfied with their meals. This would be a good one to visit!

I want to give this place ALLOFTHESTARS for having such an awesome beer selection. Seriously. SOMUCHBEER! And I love that they often have live music. i recently win in and it was super festive and our service was great! I’ve had a few menu items here now — the mussels, the ahi tuna salad, and a chicken sandwich. Everything was pretty forgettable and in my opinion a bit overpriced. I’d like to see the food menu elevated a little bit in the flavor game. Other than that, I really like the place, the tap list is super awesome, and the service is friendly. Great place to sit at the bar and watch the sports. If you’re into that.

The bartender, Jim, here is adorable! I only had one drink so I can’t really go into much detail about everything else but the drink was great too.

This place is in running for best pulled-pork in the State. It is tied between this and Wild Horse Brewery in Hood River. The sandwich has great smokey taste. The only weakness of the sandwich that I can find is the bun. It is like plain tires on a Mustang GT. Where Wild Horse does better is the mixed texture of the pork itself, with bits of char and bits of flaky tender meat. The smokiness in Streetcars’s sammich really shines. I will need more research. Also, the staff was helpful and there was neither a pretentious feel to the place, nor was it overrun with hipsters wanting to slush cherry peanut butter wheat beer on artisan toast. Quality beer. Quality food. Friendly staff.

Gave it a five star. Yup that’s right and here’s why: Beer is always rotating from one great beer to the next and at only $ 5 to boot. Usually about 40 on tap and they have a wide range not just IPA after IPA. They have live music almost every night that is typically singer/songwriter style with no cover. Food is not something I get here often but the Dates are not to be missed and the happy hour menu is solid. Liquor is mainly brown in color but they do have a full bar to offer. Note, you will not get jäger, goldschloger, fire ball, or other quasi liquors here. The TV’s show relevant sporting events and the staff exceeds expectations. There is outside sidewalk seating with table service but check in with staff before seating yourself outside. All in all this place rocks and I’m proud to be a regular. Cheers!

We went here after The Fields bar’s customer service turned out to be so disappointing, we left before we ordered. The service was a bit slow for the place being so empty, but the food was good, and we both agreed it would be a great place for happy hour drinks. Maybe not the best for a Sunday afternoon. Overall, we’d definitely go back.

I thought this place was pretty good and would probably have rated it higher had it not been for the music. I’m a huge music fan and a musician myself, but there was no reason for the racist jokes in between songs as well as the loud volume for just a handful of people in the restaurant. He could have been without a PA system and still been loud enough. So for a party of 6 people, we struggled to maintain a business conversation. We started out with some great IPA’s along with mussels, bacon wrapped dates, and mac& cheese(recommended by other Unilocalers). For dinner, I ordered the Cubano sandwich. The owner/chef came over to our table to apologize for running out of pickles and I believe he adjusted the bill to reflect that extremely serious culinary error. Here’s the takeaway — - great beer, delicious food, loud music. Not good for a business dinner.

Located at 11th and Northrup in the Pearl, Streetcar is a well-located spot that is ideal for an after work drink or casual meal. I went with the BBQ pulled pork sandwich with potato wedges, a house salad, and mussels with linguine(for the wife). Dinner was preceded and accompanied by a beer flight, with the Ex Nuovo Dynamic Duo IPA, the Fort George Vortex IPA, the Boneyard RPM, the Green Flash 30th Street Pale, and the Old Town Sun Dazed Kolsch. All were different, and all were delicious. The potato wedges with my sandwich were a bit soggy and somewhat of a disappointment, but the rest of the meal(including a to-die-for icre cream sandwich consisting of two chocolate chip cookies and vanilla ice cream) was solid.

I’ve eaten here a handful of times and it’s usually been a pretty good experience — good food, good beer, no complaints. However, I was there with a group of 5 a couple of weeks ago and we were pretty disappointed. We arrived around 8pm and sat outside. When we went to place food orders, we were informed that they were out of many of the menu items. I settled on a burger which the server talked up and sold based on the maple bacon jam. When the burger arrived, I started eating it and realized it was a little dry. Upon inspecting the burger, I noticed that it didn’t have the jam on it. When I brought this up to the server, he said he’d run back and grab me a side to put on the burger. About 20 minutes later he came back and said that they kitchen didn’t put the jam on the burger because they were out, then he just walked away. I had to go inside and explain that my burger was now cold from waiting and that it was dry and I didn’t plan to eat it. I ordered the panko crusted chicken instead — it was dry and I wouldn’t recommend it. One of the guys in our group ordered the mussels which he says were pretty good… too bad he could only eat half of them because half of the mussels didn’t open. Again, when we brought this up, the server just said«Sorry about that… are you done?» took the plate and walked away. Overall, I would say that this place has gone pretty downhill in both food and service. I wonder if business is bad or something and they aren’t keeping the kitchen stocked. I think it’s a little ridiculous to have run out of so many menu items at 8pm on a Friday night when we were one of the only parties there. I don’t think I’ll be going back for anything other than a beer in the future.

My coworkers and I come here a lot because this is a great late night spot. We love the service, food, and drink selection. Last night the service we great but after an hour our food still hadn’t come out. Apparently the owner was drunk and was preventing the chef from seeing our order go through. How unprofessional. We didn’t get out food and left pretty irate. We will probably come back soon but we will check to make sure the drunk owner isn’t around before we sit.

This place is as indecisive as a 13 year old girl. The menu doesn’t match the décor which didn’t match the odd live coffeehouse style music. Don’t get me wrong… I love me some acoustic guitar — it just seemed like a strange place to find it. Also there were kids running around in the bar… so that was weird. Seems like a pretty good beer selection and I didn’t try any food… so maybe it is fabulous. Overall, it feels like an odd fit in the Pearl where restaurants usually have a distinct approach that warrants being in such a trendy neighborhood. This place feels like the weird theater girl trying to break into a pack of mean girls but despite her best efforts just can’t quite make the cheerleading squad.

A lovely dining experience. I was quite temted to go with a 5 stars on this place, but something kept me from it. Perhaps the price,… not sure. But would highly recommend this place for a date or a foursome(get your mind out of the gutter!) I am always looking for places that have a «different» feel. Not more or less casual, not more or less divy, just different, And one that lends itself to intimacy is my favorite! This place was kinda romantic. Not a big place, the slightly different feels, levels & décor and closeness in general adds to the intimate feel. At the same time, there is a strong industrial theme and décor — but really nicely done. The cool orbs with light inside were trippy and fun! Many folks were dressed up a bit, but there were some flannel shirts at the bar as well, so no snootiness here, from what I could see. Armed with my groupon, my date and I came here before the Guster show at Crystal. We made it by happy hour so got to take advantage of the food specials. Drinks are spendy, and maybe $ 1 off the special drinks during HH. The blackberry lemonade($ 8) was deliscious… really tasty. My kinda cocktail — definitely strong enough. The steamed mussels were excellent and plnetiful, served with something to dip(i forget just now what that something was). Mac & Cheese($ 6) with gorgonzola and smoked gouda was divine! My date had the streetcar burger and fries($ 9) which was also quite good. A fine meal, all around. The service is just peachy, the bar kinda cool. The bathroom is slightly through the kitchen, but maybe that’s not such a bad thing… to be comfy showing where you make the food I intend to eat… Anyhow, I look forward to my next trip here!

Came here for a friends birthday, the ambience is really relaxing and you can’t help but feel hip-live music plays in the background as there is ample options of drinks to choose from. I love how the music here doesn’t stick to one specific genre! They take requests and do covers, absolutely loved the main singers voice. The food here is pretty good although we came in on a really busy night our service was quick and attentive. The only thing was that when all of our food came out my mussels were not hot, but way too cooled(not to be mistakes for cold cause they were cooked). I mentioned this to our server and she quickly brought it back into the kitchen where they re-did my dish and even added new mussels to my plate.(I know this because some of the mussels weren’t open all the way and my previous plate they were all wide open) It came out piping hot! I was VERYSATISFIED!!! That is definitely what service is all about! I shall be returning here for the delicious food, décor and amazing live music!

It was a firm«No» to our Redbull and vodka request — but that came as no surprise, since many bars no longer serve energy drinks. It was also a «No» to a Spanish coffee, when the bartender realized they were out of Bacardi 151. That was more funny than anything else, since it was his suggestion. What I ended up with was a Deschutes Brewery’s’ Jubelale — which was festive for the season and a beer I really like. They also had a high-end brand of tequila that my friend really enjoyed. I was shocked at the size of the«shot», considering it came in a lowball glass poured almost half full. Needless to say, you needn’t more than one… a mistake my friend and paid for the next day. lol
The place itself is on the smaller side and has a cozy feel — but it could have just felt that way because it was crowded. Unable to get a table, we sat at the bar and listened to the live music from our bar stools. The décor is posh and the service was really good. What it reminds me of is a neighborhood restaurant, like a high-end Cheers, if Cheers was classy. It makes me wish I lived in the Pearl and could just walk here on snowy days when the city is standing still.

This is one of those places that should be on Restaurant Stakeout or Mystery Diners because well, while I love a casual work environment where employees are happy, there is a line of appropriate that does not exist in this place. Was I personally offended? No, because Meh, I don’t really care but as a person who has managed people and teams and worked in customer service for 15 years, yeah, no. No no, I would never run my team this way. Everyone chit chatting about drinking hijinks and that created slow service. Bartender man was lacking knowledge about the beers on tap. Kitchen seemed ill prepared for dinner service and employees were eating right there at the bar. Yes, people need to eat but yeah, no. All in all, if the food had been poor, I would have been super upset about this experience but since the mac and cheese was good and so were the honey lime ginger wings, I am OK with how it all went down but watching other people get served as well was almost frustrating. The bartender man was taking a drink order for the people next to us but instead of standing in front of them to do it, he sorta half shouted at them from in front of us and the guy was like«Oh…are you taking to us?» Bartender guy was like… «yeah…» *sigh* I am not sure if the owner cultivates this sort of environment but if he doesn’t, I hope he reads his Unilocal reviews and tightens up his ship, otherwise, this will never work. …would I ever go back? Nope.

Watching the Seahawks on Monday night football. Big screen with good audio, you can actually hear the announcers. Good place for football. The place is cool for a meet up, like lunch or dinner, visit with a friend, come with a group or go for a little romance. The ambience is good for all here. Very casual but the place exudes class. I say class because the chairs are white leather, the bar is a prefab off-white stone, the tables are reclaimed exotic«high-gloss» wood, no tablecloths, cement floors, industrial /contemporary feel. Discover the streetcar bistro for yourself! For happy hour I had the Fulton Chuck burger. It takes two hands to hold it and It’s juicy. And there are 12IPA’s on tap, How can you go wrong if you like to taste many good brews. And there is lager, brown, blonde, amber ales and cider. Also, a full bar for cocktails. Come one, come all — a good time for all! With all the good beers, come on now Streetcar Bistro, bring down the growler refill, which starts at $ 18 for standard and goes up from there – pricey — huh! Better growler prices = more customers = helps pay the rent.
