Worst dry cleaners. Very expensive & they send everything out to a place called majestic cleaners.
First my clothes were not done the day I was told & when I went back days later the only item I really cared about getting cleaned was never cleaned!!! The lady said it was too dirty? wtf yeah it had a little make-​up around the collar but that’s pretty much it & why would I take it to get cleaned if it was already clean? One of the dresses looks like they didn’t even clean it!
Don’t waste your time!

They officially lost me as a customer when I raced home from work to pick up my dry cleaning before they closed at 6:30. Apparently they changed their hours to close at 6 pm, which is fine, but it was only 5:55 and they had already locked the doors. The guy working just stared at me when I knocked on the door, then went and hid in the back, rather than opening the door to give me my dry cleaning. Will never be returning.

I loved this cleaners and was a regular customer for a couple of years until they lost a jacket of mine last summer (July 2012) I was moving out of the area, and called several times to try and speak to someone about replacing my jacket, but the owner never called me back, even though I left my contact information in person and over the phone several times.
I guess if they see something they like of yours, they’ll just keep it. F you, Swiss Cleaners.

I’ve used this cleaner for about 6 months and have been generally satisfied. Except, that on 3 occaisions, I have arrived on Saturdays prior to their posted closing time and found that they have closed half an hour early. No note saying there was an emergency or anything. The problem is that if I don’t pick up my clothes on Saturday, I have nothing to wear on Monday morning. When I am planning my day, I cannot manage everything I have to do while guessing whether or not a company will close early without warning. Today, I took my armload of clothes and took them to another cleaner, but I could not pickup what I need for next week. One more instance, and I will no longer come here. Performing decent cleaning of clothes is not sufficient if I can’t pick them up so as to wear them.

I am new to this area, so it saddens me to have to write a bad review for being such a short time an otherwise awesome city. First things first, my clothes were 3 days later than promised. Second, they washed a pair of pants which shrunk about 2 sizes (you are a dry cleaner?!) Third, 4 shirts and 2 pants cost $ 48.50. Sorry, you certainly lost my business.

This place is awful!
Just moved to Portland and were looking for a good dry cleaner. This place has somewhat high prices but we went there based on the good reviews on Unilocal.My husband and I were highly disappointed in the quality of cleaning as well as customer service. With cleaning, we had one stain on a suit that we asked to have removed. The stain was from organic matter and the person at the counter assured us it would be no problem to remove. I could have easily removed it myself but suit needed steaming anyway. However, upon pickup, the stain was in its original condition, and it seems like they haven’t even tried to remove it. When asked the same person at the counter, instead of acknowledging that they missed the stain and/​or apologizing started saying that cleaners can’t remove ink stains. After telling her again and several times that this is not an ink stain, she just said that «well this is the best that we could do.» We have since removed the stain ourselves, so clearly the stain was just ignored by them. On top of that, dress shirts that we dropped off as well and asked to have starched were not starched at all. Don’t go there, it’s a waste of money!!!

Great location for me. Friendly staff remember my name, staff in training are introduced to me. I can walk there. Everything is cleaned and pressed perfectly. «Greener» process, not sure what that means but the other «green» water process cleaner in the Pearl simply doesn’t work. I went there once, picked up the items, dropped them off at Swiss and then went home.

This place is great! They returned our clothes in excellent condition! Despite it being a little on the expensive side, it seems like you get what you pay for with dry-​cleaning services in Portland. So we were happy to pay for the convenience of it being around the corner from our house, along with a job well-​done. Thanks Swiss Cleaners; we will be back!

The Swiss Tailors and Cleaners in the Pearl is a great place to take your clothes that can’t be cleaned at home — I am new to the neighborhood and they treat me like they’ve know me for years. This past week I went in without my wallet and they sent me home with my clothes and said «no worries, pay for them next time». They TRUSTED me — Always clean, pressed and on time! (Me and my clothes)
