Subway

Used to be a great Subway but this particular location now has a crew of people who act like you are taking them away from doing something more important. They always seem to be out of the bread you want, or the toaster thing is broken. Or they are in a big hurry to get out of there an hour before they close and you are slowing them down by ordering a sandwich.

I wanted to get a sandwich replaced which I bought a 6 inch cold cut. Nick (obese was the employee with guage ears) started to make the sandwich. Then so called person in charge Britney short woman with guage ears. The employees started to yell at me and make a seen. They took my sandwich in the back to exploer that there was cumbers and asked me to pick of the cumbers and mustard. Other customers started to come in to the shop. I tried to lower my voice then they ranted that you can call the manager. They lied on who the manager was an proceeded to not give me the owner number. Then Nick lied on who the manager was saying it was Audra. Britney lied also saying that I did not have the right to bring back a poorly made sandwich. I was keeping my cool and professionalism. I am an MBA so I thought these teenagers should have made a proper sandwich and let me proceed with my day. They lied and took my sandwich out of the garbage and said here you go. I finally called back and then Brintey hung up on me. Who runs this store Teens or and Adult. DO NOT EAT AT THIS SUBWAY!!! THEY TRIED TO GIVE ME A SANDWICH OUT OF THE GARBAGE! THIS SUBWAY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN!

I had a HORRIBLE experience at this Subway! Worst customer service ever! It was around lunch time and I needed to get something quick to eat before my doctor’s appointment (I am 5 months pregnant). As pregnant women are supposed to avoid deli meats, I was just planning on getting something with veggies. I always look to see what the deal of the day is. This day, it was a turkey 6 in for the $ 5 meal. I ordered the daily special without the turkey. The lady working looks at me and goes, «What, you just want bread?» And I said, «No… veggies.» And she said, «I can’t do that» and I said, «What?» She goes, «We have a vegetarian sandwich on the menu. I can add chips and a drink, but I can’t make it the special deal.» I said, «So, if it were tomorrow and it was the BMT, I couldn’t ask for you to hold one of the meats?» and she said, «Yeah, but then there’d be other stuff on it.» I said, «That makes no sense.» She said, «Sorry.» With her attitude and nonsense, I just said, «Forget it» and walked out. UNBELIEVABLE. If I were to order a turkey sandwich, I’d be able to add whatever veggies I want. I am saving you the money of turkey and you’re turning away A PREGNANT woman? Don’t you know we are not supposed to eat deli turkey? I was blown away at the horrible customer service I received. People are allowed to customize their sandwiches any way they want. It’s not like I was asking for more of something, I was asking you to hold something, just like someone who was lactose intolerant would ask you to hold the cheese. I was so infuriated. I had to stop somewhere else for something to eat, and it made me late for my appointment. Never again. Subway should be ashamed of this.

I haven’t had issues with this Subways. It’s okay, and the food hasn’t made me sick.
The closest sandwich shop to Lombard Transit Center, probably the reason it get’s crowded in the rush hour and midday lunch, (hardly see people in here other times). Must be doing Something right, that people stand in lines here.
Parking lot in front. No 4 and 75 bus routes about 50 feet away… can see the City Center bound MAX Yellow line platform from the window.
N Lombard and Interstate intersection has homeless that hang around sometimes; it is what it is. Just watch your bike or car if you choose not to lock them up.
I’m okay with this Subways.

It’s ok. Just like every other subway

This is the worst Subway restaurant I have ever been to. The lines are always too long, the people are always grouchy or in a bad mood, and my sandwich is always just thrown together. I had a complaint one time and the person there aid there was no manager in the building and told me to come back. There was a hair on my food and all I wanted was for it to get replaced. Now I know that one bad trip shouldn’t ruin it but this had happened all the time. Do not ever eat here.
