The last few times I’ve been in, owner or manager has been there with her toddler. I have nothing against kids since I’m a mother myself but as a customer I don’t appreciate her bringing in her sick child as she is serving customers holding him. Can’t imagine that doesn’t violate a health code. A few months ago she had the child helping prep the food. Completely unsanitary to me.

Cute place! Can’t say enough good things about the iced hemp milk lattes here. Love the mug wall & different dairy-free options!

I came here in for coffee on a whim. Most other places closed; didn’t want chain coffee. The mocha was delicious! A while later, my breakfast burrito arrived. It was complemented with sour cream and salsa. The burrito wasn’t watery or clumpy. It was well made, hot, and pressed to a crisp. Great place!

Great location, friendly staff. Lame coffee weak and watered down. I had a mocha my other had a Americano. It was not early and the place was not busy.

Great coffee place! Their seating was somewhat limited when I went. They have a basement area, but it was closed for remodeling. They have a $ 2 bottomless drip coffee selection of one or two that was pretty good. Will probably return again.

Cup Coffee is an ideal café. Right off the Max line this coffee shop is in a pretty blue house with a porch/patio on the side. I wandered in one morning, curious, and was greeted by a roaring fire place, good music, cute decorations, and a warm atmosphere. It was really busy and there was only one barista working(cute brunette girl with an adorable headband and a nose ring, she’s great!) but I didn’t mind waiting because the fire was so nice. You can tell that the staff is well trained because the barista was making drinks, preparing food, and ringing customers up at the same time. I got a veggie wrap and a pot of «happiness tea». The wrap was really good, as a vegan I can’t find many quality food options at small cafes often, but I was impressed! I was surprised by how quickly I got my food even though it was busy. I also noted that they offer many non-dairy milk options such as hemp milk(which I haven’t seen in many cafes yet). I will be back to Cup Coffee my next trip up to North Portland to enjoy the fireplace again and hopefully the patio on a sunny day! Don’t let cafes like this go out of business! Support small businesses.

Love this place. Tastey coffee. Yummy bagels. Beyond great customer service. Very home feel to it and it’s so close to my house. Couldn’t ask for a better morning coffee spot… prefered over Starbucks :)

Used to go here when I delivered the newspaper. Opens early. Nice little spot. Comfy. Offers free wifi. Good espresso. Located near Interstate and Lombard, the little house-style coffee/pastry shop is a good place to catch up with an old friend, or do a little homework — whichever fits you better. They don’t open early enough(for paper delivering) and the space is very cold… There weren’t rugs or window shades… nothing to add color and pop to the walls. Art is where its at, especially in Portland. I haven’t been in in years though… Maybe someday soon as I often drive by. I’d really like to check out their food selection again. :)

Dainty little blue and yellow house on a street surrounded by beautiful fall trees… Who wouldn’t want to drink coffee here? The barista was super nice.(Easy to look at too ;) hey ladies, check em out) anyways, awesome specials and fresh baked goodies! They had a cute menu with some yummy looking lunch and breakfast items! Love the atmosphere, the coffee and music! I would absolutely come back! Now here, look at some cute photos of this place :) Okay… Let me start over… Just tasted our coffee… NOTGOOD. Very watery. It was cute but won’t be back. :(bummer

Cup is right off the max yellow line, which is how I stumbled upon it. Once I entered I was welcomed by a burning fireplace and comfortable atmosphere. Tables lines the floor around the corner. The barista, Amanda, was very nice and friendly, she even had hemp milk, which is hard to find at coffee shops. Now that its getting warmer and with the extended hours I may be coming in both mornings and nights. They also serve stump town all day and have a nice breakfast menu as well as pastries. It’s tucked around the corner from Fred Meyer and takes a minute to figure out how to drive away from with the max line blocking your exits, but this hidden gem is an oasis in the summer and a warm den to hideout in during the long winter.

Best coffee place in Kenton since its North Star iteration. Just as good as North Star, thank goodness. We had stopped going when it was Frey but CUP is wonderful for coffee and…

Love this place — they do iced coffee like no other, are super friendly, and food is good too. Cute place inside plus a nice patio out front. Last time I was there(weekend afternoon in the spring) we sat on the front patio there were some people in a yelling match at the yellow line stop which wasn’t super helpful when studying. If you’re trying to relax vs. people-watch, it’s probably better to try to snag a table around the side of the building or inside.

I type this as I sit at Cup Coffee Company, sipping a fantastic double espresso. Pleasant atmosphere, good music, awesome baristas, and a great drink make this java joint stand out from the droll of other«hip» coffee places in the area. Definitely a great first impression.

Cute little coffee shop we encountered on our way to the light rail. Sweet location, because it was perfect to take on our way to downtown. I ordered the pour over which was so smooth, not acidic like other coffees I’ve tried. Service here is awesome as well! Super friendly staff!

I got a bacon, egg and cheddar sandwich on an everything bagel. It was $ 6, which sounds like a lot maybe, but it was a very hearty and filling sandwich. The egg tasted real, it had a good amount of bacon, and the bagel was good. I also got a latte with almond milk and it was great. No fancy latte art or anything, but a really nice flavor and creamy consistency. I would definitely come here again. One thing to note is parking is very limited. There are literally two non-handicap spots in their tiny lot, and the street was pretty full of cars parked along the curb. This place is across from a TriMet stop, so I imagine it’s the perfect stop for commuters.

I stumbled upon this great little café, in the true sense of the word. I like my cafes to have a wide variety of drinks, pastries, sandwiches, and SEATING. Both comfy couches where I can curl up and read and tables where I can get some work done, and this café has both. The upstairs seems small but there a large downstairs section as well with couches and board games. If you check in, you get a discount as well. A great little coffee shop!

If I was rating the coffee the stars wouldn’t be as high. I’m giving stars for the ambiance and for the fact that the girl working was friendly. The espresso«shake» tastes as if they poured half n half over ice and blended it. Then added some all spice or something. The dark chocolate mocha was warm and watered down. So sad. Had high hopes. I’m not even a coffee snob. In the girl’s defense… she was busy and the only one there.

This place is the reason I have been able to get through my more than full time credit load at school. They have many different places that are great for getting work done. Their Stumptown coffee is tasty and I am now hooked on their chocolate salted caramel biscotti. If you end up here for long enough that you need a snack, they have delicious bagel sandwiches. Most comfortable and friendly coffee house in the North/North East!
