Yet another Himalayan/Buddhist type place along Hawthorne. This one was a bit larger and had a bigger jewelry selection. They had clothing and blankets and more traditional garb to wear. Buddhist flags and artwork and those chiming bowls. They had a few figurines that were nice. It was a nice place but not really much for me. That’s all I got.

This is such an amazing store. It has so many different imports from India, Tibet, and Nepal, which make this store unique. I walked in 3 weeks ago, which is a shame because I love Hawthorne and go often, and this place had been here for a few years. Anyways, this store has has a variety of things to choose from including jewelry, clothing and figurines. The store owner is really nice, and has the knowledge behind the all merchandise. It is not a large store, so it can be hard to walk around the sore if there are other people inside. For the most part though, the store is quiet and there won’t be a crowd. I can see myself buying something from here again in the near future. And other people should check it out, if not to buy anything, just to look around.

I was in town on holiday and found this gem of a store. The owner and his wife were in, very friendly and helpful. I got a nice sling shoulder bag and some scrumptious incense. Definitely a must-see when in downtown Portland!
