The store is everything I was looking for in Portland. Locally made clothes. One-​of-​a-​kind jewelry. Really great shop owner. Big dressing rooms.

Are you looking for original, island-​inspired or eco clothing for yourself or a loved one? How about interesting artwork from both Portland and Kauai artists? Unique jewelry made from found beach glass and beautiful metals?
If any of these questions made your nod calmly, or emphatically, I urge you to check out this new hidden gem on SE Hawthorne. The price points range from $ 25 for a pillow with beautiful photography prints to $ 250 for a one-​of-​a-​kind bracelet made in Hawai’i, with an assortment of handbags, soaps, trinkets, and original clothing designs in between.
The store has a unique layout (with an awkward ramp on the western side) and makes great use of the space, separating a small gallery from the clothing. The ladies running the shop were extremely pleasant and helpful but allowed me to browse freely without pressure. (Bonus!) They opened only two days before I checked out the space so I hope to pop in again soon to see how the new shop fares — go check it out!
