This place is by far the most amazing racquet shop I’ve set foot in. Their service is nothing short of phenomenal.
I’ve brought many racquets in here for stringing and the tension is always on point, thanks to their multiple electronic stringing machines but also thanks to how experienced and dedicated the staff is.
Standard turnaround time is a day or two, but I had an important game coming up one evening and my strings broke 3 hours beforehand. Rushed over to the store and they took care of it within the hour!
I highly recommend this store for all your stringing needs.

Kind people, good service, normal prices.
They replace your strings in the same day if you really need to.
Not so big string type selection, but you’ll find something you like.
Small store, bad doesn’t miss a lot compared to big ones.

Players Racquet Shop PDX is the best tennis shop ever. The staff is extremely helpful and full of knowledge. Their website is also pretty useful. I found a lot of useful tips about general tennis and maintenance on their website.

This is one of the racquet shops in town, but they are very helpful in selecting racquets and strings. I usually don’t need stop into a store of my tennis needs, but it’s nice to know there’s a great shop in town that provides awesome service when needed! Their prices are pretty spot on or just below suggested retail, they’re not ripping people off.

These folks are real nice! My roommate and I play some epic tennis. That doesn’t mean it’s good tennis, but it is most certainly epic. I came here for my first racquet and they were insanely informative! Plus we get all our tennis balls here, since getting them at non-​tennis shop results in crappy bounce and crappy bounce results in crappy, non-​epic tennis. Highly recommended, though a bit expensive.

Tennis RULES! I love this sport.
Players is a great shop where you can get all that you need to look good and perform well on the courts.
They are the best at stringing. Their selection of racquets, bags, balls, grips and clothes is awesome. They know whats going on in the pro tournament world, what’s new with equipment and can advise on any problem you may have.
I stop in for grip tape and to check out the new wilson W series racquets… far too expensive, but I can dream can’t I?!?
