Zumiez always seems to have great customer service. The guy that helped my boyfriend and I out was über helpful. I scoured the sales rack here as I always do. This Zumiez had some great things. I love that their sales racks are actually organized. The women’s rack is separate from the men’s completely, which helps with any confusion. I’d definitely visit this place again.

Mixed. The guy who works there, Gary is superb. He actually remembered my name from having shopped there 3 – 4 weeks earlier — has a great effusive personality, and seems to genuinely care about customers, a rare breed at that. But, when I went in to return an xmas gift I wasn’t treated quite so nicely. Had to track someone down who stumbled through the process and actually acted pissed that I was returning something. The other unfortunate circumstance is that I ordered something online and had it shipped here to pick up to avoid shipping fees. Nobody called me. I had to think to remember to call them, and had to look up the number, and when I got someone on the phone they did apologize for not calling me. But, really? 5 days after a package arrived and no call? Good thing they didn’t lose the merch. A call to corporate to complain and place another problematic online order became a cacophony of inefficiency with my having to place follow-up calls all day long due to them not acting on what they said they would do. Not impressed. Feels like their success has gone to their heads and they need to improve their customer experience.
