Jesus and vintage Playboys everywhere. I the store was more interesting than I expected but the prices are a bit too high for me.

This is a great and reasonably priced store full of treasures! Great fun to look around and pick something special out. The employees were very friendly :) One of my favorite antique/vintage stores in Portland!

This is by far and large my favorite vintage shopping spot in Portland. No «cottage style» booths of odd smelling doilies, just the awesome stuff you expect from a vintage shop. The staff is always so kind, non-intrusive, but also friendly; it makes me feel welcome and like I can take my time perusing. The prices are awesome and the finds here are things I’ve found online for much more money! If you’re into vintage/retro, definitely check them out.

Vintage Vendors is what other houseware-based vintage stores in neighborhoods like Hawthorne are trying to do, only they’re not doing it quite like VV. This place has the most beautiful and unique vintage furniture and housewares that are straight out of Mad Men. Lamps galore, an ashtray wall, a great selection of luggage, and a dedicated«For Him» section so that you can buy a gift for your boyfriend if he has good taste. They have a room solely dedicated to vinyl. There’s a TON of records in there, so go crazy and start sifting. Prices are very reasonable. I saw a large mounted antler skull for $ 28. That’s 50−60% cheaper than Etsy or eBay. Store clerk: «Anything catch your eye?» Me: «Yeah… everything.»

This is a pretty cool, eclectic shop. Most stuff is in ok condition, with the occasional item in really great condition. There are several rooms and they appear to be somewhat organized. A rack of women’s clothes mixed in with a cool tea set, old empty cans of beer, other various and random housewares and tchotchkes galore. In another room, a rack of men’s clothes. Clothing is not the reason to come here. Nifty art covers the walls. My favorite was some sort of tropical bird fashioned out of actual feathers. There were many portraits of Marilyn Monroe and a few other old time pin-ups. The furniture varies from borderline ratty to a super sweet dinette set in nearly perfect condition. There’s a lot of cool stuff to look at. Don’t forget to say hello to the store cat, a big fat black kitty. I love it when these stores have a store cat.

I really love the variety of things you can find here. From ‘normal’ vintage and antiques to some creative artwork with a macabre twist, you can find it at VV. Roxanne(try not to burst into the song) is usually the force of nature behind the counter, and she’s a great help and a perfect personality for the place. Check out the great selection of books on a number of topics, mostly dealing with art movements and antiques.

Great space with a number of mid-century vintage-vendors whom constantly update their inventory. The main location has a large variety of primarily smaller items. There is an overflow of larger items and furniture across the street under Hollywood Vintage Costumes. The customer service is really top notch and they have always offered creative solutions when I can’t find exactly what I am looking for.
