Visited for the first time today and was skeptical after the mixed reviews… but had a great experience. Prices are better than other resale stores and cheaper than Goodwill. The store was clean and well organized. The ladies working there were friendly. The selection and quality seemed pretty darn good as well. Will definitely go back!

Rude customer service. Poor selection. They lowball you on quality items. FYI they don’t pay cash for anything but furniture. Don’t bother. Better quality at your local thrift store. Donate to a charity instead.

I have bought and traded at this store. The staff is mostly friendly. The quality of clothes is good. They give fair value for trade-ins. Getting stuff right now is hit and miss — but overall, I like this store. They are always full and the prices are OK.

I’ve been to Other Mothers a few times. Usually I go on the last Friday of the month, when they have their 25 cent sale, which consists of 3 – 5 large bins of baby clothes that cost a quarter each. It’s not the best stuff in the world, but I’ve gotten a few useful items that way. You’ll have particular luck if you’re pregnant and want to stock up on smaller-size onesies! There is always an abundance of pajamas as well… I usually end up spending a couple bucks, but I’m really picky. I’ve seen women buying garbage bags full of clothes! There are usually a few bins of shoes and toys as well, but by the time I get there it’s usually picked over. The store itself has loads of stuff! The prices are decent — about the same as baby clothes at the Goodwill. There is always one tag color that is half off. I like to buy leggings there(usually $ 1 – 3). They have a lot of brands but Carters is(as usual) king. In the back there is a $ 1 rack that has some good deals if you’re buying off-season stuff. They have a wide assortment of shoes, and A LOT of bouncers/playmats/swings. Socks are 25 cents a pair. I’ve seen cloth diapers there but not a huge assortment. It’s worth it to go for the 25 cent sale, and to check out the store afterwards. If you’re a bargain hunter, you’ll love it. If you’re looking for high end baby resale stuff, I’d try somewhere else… :}

I love this store — of course it’s used hand-me downs but maternity cloths are so spendy– you can’t beat .25cent maternity cloths or baby cloths also great deals inside the store– babies grow so fast so people who complain about this store go shop somewhere else.

This place seemed legit but I must admit I’m new to the resale baby stores as I’m a first time mom and my baby is only 2 months old! I’ve been into Other Mothers 2 times and will definitely go back! I found some cheap clothes that were in great condition! But my mega find was the 5 dollar nursing stool I found! Seriously good deal. Those things are 30 bucks in the store! My husband spotted it last visit and we were stoked! I thought about bringing in my babies smaller clothes for trade in but the trade in/resale value seems pretty low at 40 percent. So I decided to donate them to the local women’s shelter instead! With that being said, I’ll definitely be back for cheap clothes as she grows! One thing I’d have to say about Other Mothers that I didn’t like was that some of the toys and baby items for sale were kind of dirty! I wanted to buy a mobile but the white plastic part was caked with some sort of unidentifiable baby goo and I decided against it. So, that’s my only suggestion… it can’t take more than a few min to give each toy a wipe down before selling it!

I was very disappointed when I went to the new location of OM yesterday. I stopped by to attempt to get some new infant clothes out of my house. The items I brought in were stylish, still had tags and were all in sizes that they didn’t have very many of. The lady going through my clothing was VERY rude. When I asked her why she was saying«no» to new items she told me it was because they were full in that size. I am also disappointed that they lowered their percentage that they give you(40%?!), but raised the prices of their merchandise. Even more frustrating when they«add up» your items at a certain price(say a sleeper w/tags was said to be $ 2.99) and then they turn around and price it higher(said sleeper was priced at $ 4.25). This is cheating customers out of their money. Also their equipment in the store had rips, stains and other issues.(A cradle swing was price at $ 79 but had yellowing stains on it that looked like cigarettes. There were two car seats that were expired.) Overall their quality has gone downhill and their prices up. I ended up walking out of there and taking back my items after she tried to rip me off multiple times!
