Vintage Station

Loads of knick knacks from the 1940’s-50’s. I personally prefer a stacked shop full of surprises. Clean.

This shop has a lil bit of everything, vintage, antique, reproduction, materials, laces, hardwares, furniture, toys, jewelry. It mainly focuses on, in my opinion, furniture and decorative pieces. The decoration and the appearance of the store on the outside is not so good. But don’t judge it by its cover, as soon as I step in, I fell in love. Bright and nice layout and arrangement.
Shopping for antique/​vintage furniture and decoration is a hit or miss thing. I just bought a new house and I’ve been on the hunt for white wash patina look furniture items, of course affordable too! I’ve been to a lot of vintage and antique shops around Portland, I couldn’t find anything I like and affordable all in one. Here at Vintage Station, I found so many pieces that are half cheaper (or more) than any other store I’ve been to. Saying this I hope the owner won’t raise the price, I love vintage furniture but since it has been a big trend, every place has been over-​pricing everything (particularly furniture) in my opinion. With almost $ 300 I spent, I got 3 pieces of small furniture that I absolutely love and other smaller home décor items. I brought them home and put the pieces among the packing box, on top of empty shelves and they look absolutely charming and chic.
Anyway, if you are on a mission like I am, or just love vintage shopping, stop by this place. I highly recommend it. Of course you won’t always find the piece that you want, but hey maybe you will just like I did. The lady helped me was Sonia, she was very nice to me :)

i stopped in here yesterday and saw the cutest things. She has a mix of cool old stuff (lots of old books, dishes, salt and pepper shakers, garden stuff, hen on nest) and art stuff (she has scrabble tiles 3 for $ 1.00) and some fun whimsical stuff (glitter letters, a star made of old measuring tapes, birdcage lamp).
I bought some cute vintage candle stick holders and some old books. All three together were only $ 17.00.
She also has a lot of iron doorstops, letters, and hooks at fair prices.
