Walked in got seated fast. Waiter seemed on the ball. Thought it was going to be good from the reviews. I ordered chicken fajitas. My daughter ordered 3 enchiladas. The fajitas were mostly onion with quite a bit of green peppers. I am used to mushrooms and there were none. There really was no taste other then a fried taste. The enchiladas which were 2 chicken and one steak. The meat in both was not good at all. I’d never go back.

The small restaurant is around Division and Main in Gresham. Not fancy at all and needs some work decorating the place. The server worked hard to make us happy. The place doesn’t have any ambiance. Not a date place for sure.

Huge portion sizes and great service. We went in because I was needing good mexican food like abuelita makes. Portland is a bit hard to find it just right but they are really close. If you need to have a party great 3 super burritos and you will feed 12 comfortably and get 3 free drinks. Screw ordering pizza next time. Worth a try and chat up the servicer Alma she is great too.

I had there lunch deal: 2 chicken taco’s with rice, beans and pop for $ 6.50 It was one of the best lunch’s I have had in a long time. Free chips and salsa. They give you 4 soft corn tortillas and with all the fillings your 2 taco’s really make 4. Great lunch thank you

I went to school right next to this place, so it was almost a ritual to come here with friends to get the food and the free chips with dip. It’s true that the staff is friendly enough, but they don’t make you feel welcome and it’s a small place with spanish soap operas always playing. It can get uncomfortable. However, I have always loved the food. There is definitely a few not to my taste, they put lettuce in hot things so they simply wilt, so be wary of that. However, just a normal steak or pork burrito is amazing and I love the quesadillas. The chips are great and warm, they give you green sauce and warm bean dip that’s simply divine. Sitting in is a must. I have never ventured past the few items I really enjoy, but for the amount and price, it’s really great. I can’t say for sure about how the staff are treated nor do I claim to know anything about policies.

Am I insane? Totally open mind when we dined here. Total let down. I had a Chile Relleno, my coveted mex item… the item that holds the holy grail of yum-ness for me. There is a massive range of possibilities for a relleno and I welcome many. This was probably the most disappointing specimen I have ever witnessed. Swimming in a this juice, and like the whole thing had been stewed like a chicken, it was just too gross to describe. It was a zero stars item . Hubby had the tacos. Saying the beef ones were OK is an overstatement. 2 beef 2 chicken, chicken ones were so «juicy» they leaked all over the plate and sogged out all the tacos, we ate the steak but after tasting the chicken, we deemed them inedible. ½ a star? All though we laughed about it, we really felt unease after eating here… just gave our stomachs a bad feeling. GOHEREINSTEAD —— Don Pedros — 181st Burn — Rockwood — «for a quick or late night fix. Good condiment sauces. Breakfast burritos are YUM but only serve til 2pm. If you are inside, they have a crock pot of roasted jalapenos and onions on the condiment bar. La Costita — 256th and Stark — more locations» — LOVE the relleno here when the pepper is not hard… I take my chances and order two… mmmm. Tacos are pretty dang grub but little more pricey here. «Taco Bell» — I would run for the border ANYDAY over going here again.

Such delicious food! Huge portions as well. Staff is so nice. The lady at the counter even gave a homeless man free chips and bean dip. Oh and it’s cheap too! You can dine in or take it to go.

I started with warm freshly-cooked chips with green salsa. The salsa was a bit skimpy for the amount of chips, but very tasty with its own homemade flavor. Then I got menudo. It was pretty short on stomach meat compared to what some places have. But there was a nice big chunk of foot tendon or something. The tortillas were warm, about four of them. The spice add-ons(onions, oregano, dried chiles) were plentiful. The basic broth(and there was a lot of it) was a bit lacking in richness though. It’s hard to mess up menudo, so much of the menudo I’ve eaten in restaurants has been really good. This one was okay but not really memorable. So I’d likely look for a different Mexican restaurant another time I’m in Gresham

This is my favorite mexican in Gresham. It is very affordable, and has big portions. But most importantly, the food is great. I’ve become addicted to their Fajitas, whcih are made with a very tasty red sauce flavoring. I get it to go, and a single order(about $ 8-$ 9) serves 2 or 3. Love this place. The ambiance is very casual. If you order in, it will be full-service sit down, but the tables have the feel of a fast food sort of place, and there is often a TV on. But that is great for times when you just want something casual with the family. Really — Try the Fajitas. You won’t be dissapointed.

Very average. Nothing to write home about. I like Baja Fresh better, so that should say a lot right there.

Me and my family go here all the time! Great value for the $$$. They have the best ceviche pescado tostada anywhere!!! On the weekends the barbacoa is good but get there early or they may be out. The superburrito shames other places that claim to have a GIANT burrito, and is stuffed full. I always get the lingua in mine. The«Wet» burrito mojado here is really excellent as well. The service is ALWAYS friendly, but every once in a while they don’t speak enough english so getting a complex order or change understood can be the occasional challenge. They always make things right however. Not a fancy restaurant but one you will want to go to again and again.

I have been to this restaurant twice now, both times were less then par. I must say the service is friendly and if I was reviewing just that then I would give it more stars. When I go out to a Mexican restaurant I expect a bit of a kick, or some spice/flavor. The first time I went to Herradura I ordered a chile relleno burrito. I’m a huge fan of chile rellenos and burritos, so put them together and it should make a magical treat, right! No, it was ok, but I expected a bit more flavor. My co-workers rave over this place so I thought, ok maybe it is just the chile relleno burrito. I went back and tried the quesadilla. I wasn’t terribly hungry so I thought this would be great. OHMY! It was huge! Judging on the size it seems like a great deal, however it too was lacking in flavor. Now when I see the word QUESadilla, I think of the word QUESO which for the non spanish speaking individual means cheese. I would expect there to be lots of cheese on my QUESa«cheese» dilla. This however was lacking! I also ended up adding some bean dip and salsa just to give it more flavor. In the end I just passed it to my co-worker who will eat just about anything. So two strikes Herradura. My co-workers claim the sopa is amazing. Maybe next time I should try that. For now I’m just going to stick with my favorite taco cart on Powell.
