Love this place — yummy, healthy food in a super kid-friendly atmosphere(dinosaurs on the tables and awesome kids’ menu). The staff are helpful and friendly, and the restaurant is spacious and airy, with a fabulous patio for warmer days.

Staff is super friendly and nice. The food is good enough, and the burritos are especially reasonably priced. I can’t say the food is too flavorful, but it isn’t unsavory. I don’t mind coming here for the occasional change of pace, but there are other, comparably priced, great options in the area.

I ordered some lunch for the office here the other day and had never tried it before. I ordered the BBQ chicken quesadilla which was $ 6.50. I was not a huge fan of the food here, it lacked flavor and seemed over priced. The staff was very friendly and helpful though.

Was here for lunch today and ordered a fresh vegetable juice to accompany my salad. The cashier(brown hair, beard) took my money and proceeded to the juice bar. He had taken money from several customers before me and did NOTWASHHISHANDS before making bare-hand contact with all of the vegetables that went into my juice. Needless to say, I was thoroughly disgusted, did not drink the juice, and will never order a fresh juice from here ever again.

I went here a few weeks ago. I recently became vegan and so I went with my best friend who is also vegan. I got the Thai Peanut bowl and my friend got the Cuban bowl. The Thai bowl was delicious! I was not expecting such a rich and creamy flavor! My friend said that she really enjoyed her Cuban bowl. The setting is very hip, and the customer service was great. The cashier was a hip young male covered in tattoos and piercings. This place is definitely a popular spot for hipsters. I can’t wait to come here again.

This place was absolutely amazing! There were so many options to choose from both for vegan/vegetarians and meat lovers. As someone who follows the paleo diet, it can sometimes be difficult to find a dish that adheres to all of the requirements, but the aptly named«Paleo Bowl» did just that. It was so good. Perfect combination of veggies and meat. I also got guacamole on the side and it was a very generous portion. One of my friends got the Bollywood Bowl and said it was very good. Two of the others in my group got burritos and commented that they were some of the best they’d ever had. I will definitely be returning here whenever I am in Portland!

I love this place. The food is very creative. They have a lot of interesting bowls and burritos. It’s cheap. A perfect lunch place.

Laughing planet is a true portland gem, the food here is unique ranging from seasonal mango in your burrito to jicama and mashed potato filling:) Everything is healthy and the atmosphere is fun, play with dinosaurs while you wait for your food! I could eat here everyday and keep coming back for more!

Laughing Planet is a go-to for an easy(albeit expensive) meal, but the service has gone way down at this particular location. The last two times I’ve been there they’ve messed up my order and I’ve had to ask for a re-do. How hard can a chicken burrito with sour cream be to make? Missing ingredients both times, and while the staff was apologetic and offered new orders, it doesn’t make me want to spend close to $ 10 for a simple burrito.

Delicious, comfortable and affordable. This was an excellent spot for a beautiful vegetarian lunch. The flavors were brights and fresh, the portions just right and the service was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the Bowls. whatever their specialty of the day is will probably be excellent. I understand this is a local chain, so I hope all of them are as good.

Laughing Planet is so PDX. It is reasonably priced, with equal attention paid to omnivorous appetites as well as special dietary offerings, funky atmosphere, and friendly yet laid-back staff. The bowls, the burritos, the salads, and everything I’ve ever had here has a clean yet satisfying taste. It is simple and healthy food done well. The thought of eating here doesn’t make my mouth water instantly, but there is something so charming about Laughing Planets I’ve come to see eating at one as an almost cultural experience in Portland.

The best place to have a healthy meal and they are almost everywhere who are(vegan)/Healthy dining conscious. The good news, they are almost everywhere in trendy areas. I suggest to be adventurous and try something new every visit!!! My first visit on another location was not good as there was a long line. But to me that is a compliment. I suggest to come in off meal/lunch/dining hours so you won’t rush your order or meal. Don’t forget to try their drinks! :)

This place spreads like a virus on the bus. So many locations of the same food. Do not expect anything close to authentic Mexican food. Prepare to eat a burrito that was made by a tetris enthusiast and find your ingredients in various places. The reason you see bike messengers wolfing these down is because they’re larger than life and meant to feed a starving social sciences major. The salads are unspectacular for the price. it’s a place to take kids you’re babysitting because they won’t care about the fact that these are crimes against anyone who’s eaten a burrito in San Diego.

When it’s minus 4 degrees outside all you want is a steaming hot bowl of chili. I had just walked 2 km from a bus station through shanty town Portland to try and find and op-shop, when this warm little haven of health caught my eye. I thought I’d entered another Portland faux meat, bowl of awkward tasting greens café when I spotted«omnivore friendly» on the menu and breathed a sigh of relief. Of course I went ahead and ordered the Veggie Chili anyway with a cup of ginger ale but it was the principle of the thing that I knew this place wasn’t going to try and force a Hemp Bowl on me anytime soon. My hearty chili bowl was $ 5(you can’t even get a piece of banana bread in Aus for that) and it left me full to the brim of beans, corn, zucchini, carrot and nice salty corn chips. I could have easily stayed and played with their dinosaur table numbers or used their free wi-fi in the warm all day but my op-shopping adventures awaited. Thanks for keeping me happy and healthy on my travels Laughing Planet!

Our neighborhood stand by for healthy burritos. You can get it as plain or as decadent or as healthy as you like. This place takes the cake for sustainability. Local this, local that, local RULES!!! So nice to have laughing planet around!!! My recent favs are Korean BBQ bowl and Soylent Green bowl. But burritos are excellent too! You really can’t go wrong here! This food leaves me satisfied & energized!

I am a fan once again of the LP. I forgot about it for awhile! Recently visited this Belmont location, NW21st, and Woodstock and been very happy each time. Fresh ingredients, no junk, readily available nutrition info online, quick, reasonably priced. That’s all total win. Greatest hits: Highway to Kale salad with local(duh, #PAF) cranberries and pumpkin seeds Chili(vegan, but add sour cream if you wanna get crazy lacto, or sub in vegan sour cream and Daiya) Che Guevara Burrito(plantains and sweet potato, WHAT?!) Popeyes Quesadilla with tons of fresh spinach to impress Olive Oyl There are about eighty-five thousand combos you could come up with at LP, including tons to suit many different diets. Grain free? No problem, sub kale in a bowl. Need meat? Add grass-fed beef or Draper Valley chicken. Not enough protein? Organic tofu and tempeh at the hot ‘n ready. Juices, smoothies, beer, wine, and cider for bevvies. I go for the kale… I stay for the tiny dinosaur toys.

Back when I considered this place a «burrito» place, I never, ever came. There were way too many other Mexican places to try/explore/enjoy. A friend recently referred to this as a «wrap» place, and it all makes so much more sense now. Maybe I am holding them to a lower standard, but that does not mean I avoid them. Au contraire, I have a renewed interest in visiting. I have been enjoying their quick and fresh bowls this summer(Thai me up, please). I like that the nutritional information is available online(whatever you do don’t look at the sodium content) and that they have a variety of cooked veggies ready to heap into a bowl with whatever sauce and protein suits my fancy on any given day. For the life of me I cannot seem to replicate the barley/wheat berry/quinoa mix at home, which sadly is reminder of my ability to serve grain products either too crunchy or mushed beyond recognition. They nail it here, and for that, I am grateful. I know that I will continue to come here through the winter as well. Sometimes when I get out of work and it is already pitch black outside, the last thing I want to do is cook. I certainly do not want to prep five different kinds of vegetables. Thanks to Laughing Planet, I don’t have to.
