I’ve been getting my brows tinted and waxed by Samantha B. for years, and will continue to as long as I live in Portland. My hair is naturally blond, and I’ve been dying it a dark reddish brown for quite a bit. After surviving a terrible (and painful!) tint/​wax job elsewhere years ago, I was afraid to try again and just left them blond… until someone recommended Sam at Jennifer’s Spa. She does SUCH a great job of shaping and coloring, and it’s pretty quick and painless too! The style she gives me is the perfect mix of natural-​looking and glamorous, and it matches my hair perfectly. Anytime someone compliments my (fake) hair color, and I tell them that it is, in fact, dyed they look at my eyebrows as if I’m lying. ;) Another bonus is her personality: sweet, calm and personable… all very important traits to look for in an esthetician, if you ask me. Parking tip: There’s almost always a metered spot within a few blocks.
