Ling’s Therapeutic Massage Center

Ling is a professional and a great communicator. Her place is nicely done and very clean, on the second floor of an office building. Online appointment scheduling is a breeze, but its rare to get a last minute appointment, so plan ahead.

I’ve had my share of massages in the past and Ling did a phenomenal job. She tailored the massage to focus on an old hockey injury that was bothering me, as well as sent me on my way with exercises to do to keep away cramps in my hands. The hot stones were a great addition and I only wish I could’ve had 2 hours with her.!!Did I mention she’s incredibly personable and sweet, yet respects the silence during the actual massage. Perfection!

Ling is from southern China. Although her office is not fancy her massage is fantastic. Once you are in her office and your eyes are closed you won’t mind that you were not in a fancy spa. Don’t be put off by the location and smells in the building. She is small, but she is very strong. She is considerate (checks in often and doesn’t try to «chat») and has a hearty laugh. I would highly recommend her to anyone staying at the Sentinel, the Hilton, or the Westin. I initially booked a massage for an hour and a half, but added another delightful half hour so she could continue work on my chest and my tummy and do additional work on my feet. The massage included my choice of oils, hot washcloths, and hot stone work without additional charge. She completely wiped out a migraine that was threatening to come on. For her expertise and effort her prices are fair. Oh, and I could get an appointment with her when everyone else in the area near my hotel was unavailable! She hasn’t been discovered yet — or clients are put off by the functional office building.

YES! I was visiting Portland from out of town and my back & neck were killing me from the flight and the uncomfortable hotel pillows. My upper back was on fire and really stiff when I made the appointment, and by the time I left it felt like I’d never been sore at all.
Ling is amazingly talented and incredibly sweet too. Her friendly, outgoing personality instantly makes you feel at ease. She asked if I had any particular places that especially ached and really focused on those.
My only regret was that I only opted for 60 minutes and not a full two hours! I will definitely look her up again the next time I’m in town! THANK YOU, LING! :)

Ling has a great location next to the Westin hotel downtown. I usually get a one hour deep tissue or Swedish massage. She is great at both, and the latter is so relaxing I usually find myself falling asleep each time. The aesthetics of the office are quite nice as well, with two massage therapy rooms. Ling is a personable woman with a vast knowledge of massage therapies. I will continue to see her regularly.

Ling does a wonderful job. As others have posted, she is very strong and happy to tailor your massage exactly how you like it. Her office is conveniently located downtown near the food carts on 9^th/​10^th next to the Westin hotel. My massage with her was divine. She combined Tuina with some deep tissue work and a bit of Swedish thrown in for good measure. She also used hot stones and hot towels which felt lovely.
She was very professional and friendly, and her office space was clean and pleasant.
Can’t recommend this business enough!

I went in for an hour long Swedish and was very satisfied. In addition to giving an awesome massage she used some hot stones and cloths to tailor the massage to me.
Ling has here own private office near the Westin downtown. It is clean and professional, I felt very comfortable there. She also has some great specials on packages you should ask about. I purchased one for three more massages and saved about 20%.

New to the neighborhood, and my shoulder had been bothering me. Stopped in for my first ever professional massage. I’m so glad I did; I booked a longer session for tomorrow. Thank you!

I discovered Ling’s Therapeutic Massage about a month ago and I am delighted to have someone as skilled at massage downtown. She gives one of the best massages that I have received in Portland. And I have hunted for quite a while and this is the place for people who want the BEST. I live & work downtown and it is very conveniently location on the north side of the Library on MAX line and in between the north & south Street Car lines.
