I love this place! Great food and friendly bar staff. Damon and Kyle always remember what I like to order and they check on us often.

What can you say about a small sports bar, with good food, inexpensive beer and good friends by your side? Oh yeah, pudding shots for $ 1.50. We took a quick visit over to Yorgo’s(as what it used to be called and is still on the signage) when we realized a friend and her boyfriend were right down the street from us on Christmas Eve. The Raiders were playing and he’s a fan. The place is small but friendly and the bartenders were accommodating. There’s a good selection of beer and winter ales at this time and the menu was good. For some reason, I ordered hot wings. The habanero ones were really good. The heat creeps up on you, so if you’re not one for a lot of spice then go milder. I loved them. As for those pudding shots? Dang… chocolate with a bit of mint, not sure what the alcohol was in them, but they are worth the trip. Very unique. Greeley’s/ Yorgo’s is a nice local bar, wish I lived closer. Enjoy.

Great place to watch a football game. Food is better than expected for a dive bar.

Good, cheap drinks, good bar food(although they could do better with their salads, but then again, why am I getting a salad with my beer?!?), and the most amazing thing ever: Chocolate Pudding Shots!!! SO good. Staff is chill, friendly, and reasonably quick. I go back often enough, you should to! :) OH… and they’ve got a great patio out back — great in good weather!

Very good food. Had some late night munchies, so I settled with Greeley Bar and Grill as that is the closest to me. Ordered the Whiskey BBQ bacon burger with fries. A little on the spendy side but well worth it. The burger, after the first bite all I could hear were whistles and sirens in my head. Perfect nail on the BBQ love(sauce). Very sweet, tangy and a nice sexy kick to it! Now the fries, nothing special. Just bland over salted fries. Please do something to stand out a bit more, drop a little pinch of garlic salt and maybe some pepper. That’s my only beef with them. Warning… The burger is enough alone to send you to night night land.

Went here on my work lunch break with my coworker. Great food and great service! Burgers and fries/tots are super good. Especially the fries, they put some seasonings on them and it’s really yummy. Will deff be back!

Holy amazeballs! My boyfriend, who grew up in Portland, talks about this neighborhood bar endlessly. My last trip down(I live in Seattle) we FINALLY had the chance to go and needless to say I will make sure that we are back there very soon! The atmosphere is absolutely perfect. The food was great. The staff was amazingly wonderful. And did I mention they have pudding shots? Yes, pudding shots. If you go for no other reason… go for the pudding shots. I promise you it is definitely worth it!

The wife and I came here for a couple NFL games this past season and I am finally getting around to giving it a quick review. Pretty decent for a local tavern. A lot if TVs to watch games but a couple were a bit old and just happened to be which one they showed my teams games on. However, even with that and the fact that the food was just regular bar-grade fare we went back. Bartenders were always nice and even switch the game we were watching to a nicer, and larger, TV on one occasion. Decent selection of beer on tap, which included a couple craft beers. Overall, a decent place.

Had the mozzarella sticks and the club sandwich which were very good. It was a nice neighborhood bar with lots of TVs and also a seperate more quiet part of the restaurant for people who wanted to converse in a quieter environment. Overall a very good experience.

I like this place. In a perfect Unilocal world, this would be a 3.5. Dark inside, but fairly large and comfortable, this place seems to appeal to hipsters and townies alike(they don’t really use that word here in portland). They have a small parking lot and parking is not too difficult. They have 3 or 4 picnic tables & benches out front which is simply great on a nice day. You can smoke and Unilocal the food trucks across the street to see which one you should try. The food is solidly average. I have only tried a few things, but they do not seem to have quite the culinary skills and priorities as their sister restaurant Mock Crest. NOTE: the same person is opening something new in St Johns soon! Drinks are relatively strong and not too pricey. Try their pudding shots. I am in LOVE. My biggest problem with this place is that when it’s not crowded, the folks sit on the benches and think nothing of screaming to each other from one table to another. You may be outside, but it’s still a restaurant, asshole. I don’t want to hear every stupid word you say and not hear myself chew… Try sitting together like civilized folk.

Never have left hungry. Drinks??? If you don’t see what ya might like on their special board, might I suggest a pudding shot with a Strongbow back? Man!!! I just made myself thirsty…

My sister lives down the road and I stop in every time I visit. Food is below average, except the tater tots. However, it’s hard to screw up tater tots. Never been super busy when I’m there. Usually more people outside smoking on the covered patio than inside. Outside patio looks like a great place to sit on a sunny day, except for all the cigarette smoke. Service has always been good. Exceptionally good last Friday. Prices are awesome. IPA was only like $ 3.75. Where I am from(San Diego) IPAs are $ 6 – 8. Crowd is definitely male dominated. Seems to get a bit«thuggish» after dark. To sum it up, great place to have a beer/drink with no big expectations. Before it gets too late.

This place is just what you would expect to find at a neighborhood sports bar. Food has never disappointed me. Drinks are great… they always have at least two ciders to choose from. Great place to watch the game and the staff is always super nice!

I suppose this place is a standard neighborhood bar. It always seems to be busy. I’ve only been here once, so I can’t speak a whole lot. But what I can say from my first visit, is that it was kind of an odd crowd and I guess it provided some entertaining people watching. The food really seems to be lacking though, even for bar food.

First off, this place has improved greatly over the past couple years. It’s been cleaned up, new furniture & tv’s and the beer selection is on the right track. The front half is more of the sports bar section with lots of televisions for watching games. The bar is cramped and has some odd/tight sections that make it difficult to get cozy or see any of the games. The people working there were nice and the food was average for what you’d expect from the looks of things. Our server said the menu is being revamped. Every time I go here, things get better. It just takes a while to go from horrible to decent.

We were reminded why we don’t come here very often… poor service. First guy was quick to take our order and bring us a beer, then was never seen again. Another brought the food, then disappeared. The fourth person who helped us actually asked if we had a tab… shouldn’t you know? The thing is, you can eat and drink for cheap… plenty of sports on their wall of TVs(though be warned if you are not watching the main event on the overhead screen you will be drowned out)…and they have redone the pool room which looks good(separated the poker machines)…but they need to figure out if they want to be a walk up only bar or provide a service. Either way, just make a decision.

Good Sports Bar feel. Lots of regular customers. They have nice food and drink specials-different everyday. Happy Hour is extensive-but inexpensive. Staff friendly, attentive and funny, you may see some of them at their sister bar-Mock Crest Tavern. They rotate taps, too. Great reliable beers, then they rotate some. I like to be out of here before 8pm, as some amateur-y type folks arrive. Busy place and lots to look at TVs and media everywhere. The hidden secret-back outdoor patio. Good place to have an affair or hide from someone. There’s never anyone back there. Seriously, it is nice and comfy, but right in the middle of Greeley/Interstate neighborhood and traffic. They mix it up with different movie nights and video DJs. I love to try a new beer and dive into a Yorgo Burger or Hot Wings. Also, Brekky on weekends.

I think Yorgo’s is trying to be a little sneaky here. As I rolled up to the bar the other day I noticed that the sign had changed from«YORGOS» in big black letters to «Yorgo’s Greely Ave Grill»(and the«Yorgo’s» part was pretty small and inconspicuous). Upon entering, I was greeted with a scene quite unlike what I had expected. Let’s just say between the name, the location, and past reports from friends and acquaintances, I was expecting to roll in heavy, armed to the teeth, and ready for anything. All I needed was a smile, some $$, and a will to drink stiff well drinks and eat greasy food, and that’s what I had. Yorgo’s gave me what I needed with a smile and some better than average service. No passed out drunks, no scary hobos, no toothless knife wielding meth-heads, no annoying, cracked out hookers… nope, none of those things. Just a few regular neighborhood folks enjoying some strong drinks on a Saturday night. I could get down with that if this were my neighborhood, which it’s not, but lacking the honest-to-goodness crack-head cred or something otherwise as special and outstanding, it’s simply another neighborhood bar with a not-robust-enough beer list to drag me across town. But hey, the nice guys working the bar and prompt on the service were worth 4 stars. Plus, they have corn dogs on the menu.
