Bet Buffalo wings. Pizza is good and so is service. Lots of TVs. Very casual and relaxed atmosphere.

This was our first time going here. Bar wasn’t that busy, we sat ourselves and waited for someone to come to our table to greet us, give us a menu and take our drink order. One of the servers walked by our table numerous times, yet never noticed us. Finally the bartender asked if we had been served yet, clearly we hadn’t, so he gave us some menus and took our drink order. Very basic, pitcher of Coors light. Few minutes later he came back with two pounders, said they ran out of Coors light??? Huh? How to you run out of one of the #1 beer in a sports bar? By then we were done. Decided not to order any food. Couldn’t finish our beers, didn’t taste right. Bartender didn’t charge us for beers, server, finally realized we were there when we started to leave. If you go here, don’t expect any great customer service!

We love Tommy, and staff, all the way down here in California. I visit Portland a couple times a year, and always make sure I go to Toms. Great atmosphere, and even better food. You can’t beat Toms. I love the pizza, and the sweet chili wings. Toms also has a great variety of beers, and plenty of TV’s to go around. Again I’m in California, and when I show up after months of being away you’d think they would forget, nope, not at Toms. The entire staff make you feel like the show Cheers. It’s the type of place that’s very diverse and friendly. If your looking for an awesome spot, with even greater people and pizza, then come to Toms.

Can’t give this place the amount of stars it deserves. I have been coming REGULARLY for years and this place never gets old. The menu is awesome from the burgers to the wings. But what I can’t get enough of is the pizza. This place has awesome pizza and I seriously would eat it everyday if I could. The staff here is another thing that keeps me coming back. They remember you face and make it a point to remember your name as well as your regular drink or menu item. I love this place and recommend it to everyone. If you enjoy sports this place has a ton of tv’s playing almost every game or match from all kinds of sports. The patrons are also very friendly and welcoming(in true Portland fashion) Toms pizza rocks!

The last time I ordered a pizza for delivery, I ordered and paid for a triple crown with onions and green peppers and got a cheese with onions and green peppers. Tonight I ordered the bird almost 2 hours ago. They said 45 minutes, it isn’t here yet. So much for leftover pizza for lunch at work in the morning. One star because it wouldn’t let me send zero.

One of the best placesin town to watch a game! There is a nearly intimidating amount of tvs jammed into this moderately sized bar. The staff is very down to earth and extremely friendly. Football is king here and all teams well represented. The food here is decent and kind of what you would expect from a bar.

This place is just terrible. I have never been so mortified and ignored by any restaurant wait staff in my life. Our waitress was flat out terrible. Took over 10 minutes before being greeted. Rudely interrupted me reading the Drink Specials thing on the table and flipped to another page to show rest of my party the beer list. She stood there and waited for us to order instead of coming back once we had time to review. Dropped off our drinks and menu and never returned. A good 15 minutes went by before we went up to order our food. She was busy comparing socks she was wearing with another employee. In the meantime, the table that sat after us received their pizza. The table next to us(different waitress) got their food as well. Another gentlemen got 2 drinks from the second waitress. We’re still on our empty first drinks. Finally the pizza came. Cold. Cold. Cold. Soggy. Soggy. Soggy. Ordered a second beer. Never came. Noticing a pattern yet? Friend went up to ask waitress. She tells him the tap is out or broken. Friend comes back. She finally comes to table and says tap is out and suggests another beer. An eternity passes and she comes to the table and says«oh they were able to get your original beer!» What? Doesn’t check on us until we were done. Doesn’t ask if we want more drinks. Brings a box for the cold pizza. Doesn’t remember she has my credit card(why do they do that here?). Doesn’t bring water — get it yourself. Her name is AmberLee? Blond woman. Watched the other waitress with black hair. She was good. Checked in on her tables. She even went as far as cleaning AmberLee’s tables for her, and respectfully left the customer’s tip at the table for AL to pick up. She deserves a promotion. AmberLee should find another line of work.

Pleasantly surprised by this place. Looks rough from the outside with a plethora of smokers outside on their porch, but inside is a sports lover’s mecca. Big projector screens line the wall with flat screens mixed in. Tasty wings and pizza brought to us by Kell, our very good server. We’ll be back!

I eat at Tom’s maybe 3 times a year. It’s close and the food is usually good, but it is a sports bar and I am not really a fan. Last night even though the place was mostly empty(night before Thanksgiving) it took forever to get served. The first round of drinks came quick enough but after that everything else took for ever. The pizza was even a little on the cold side it sat back somewhere waiting to be picked upped and served, and the second round of drinks took forever as well. If the place was busy I would understand, but it wasn’t. Also on the way out I used the ladies room… Ugh the stench and the filth. Like I said this was not a busy night that bathroom should be clean.

What I consumed: Pizza, bourbon molasses wings and garlic parmesan wings. Food Quality: The food gets 2 stars out of 5. It’s your typical bar food nothing special. Environment: The environment gets 4 stars out of 5! It’s a great place to WATCH a game. Service: I come here quite a bit and the service is never great. The bar is about a mile from my house and I typically come for the Washington St. Football viewing parties. It’s typically very busy but it seems that the bar doesn’t take that into account with its staffing. During game day it routinely takes a waitress 10 – 20 minutes just to notice you and another 20 – 30 to get your food. The waitress I had today was particular awful, bad attitude, inattentive and rude which is unfortunate; as a result Tom’s gets 1 star for service. Appearance: All things considered the appearance is average for a sports bar. There are plenty of TV’s and as a result, not a bad seat in the house. It appears that the bar was a Skippers Seafood restaurant before it became Tom’s. Appearance gets 3 stars out of 5. Overall: Toms gets 2 stars. The environment isn’t bad but the food quality and service are bad enough to drop my rating.

Tom’s is wonderful. If you are looking for a place to watch sports, be relaxed, and eat bar food/pizza, then Tom’s is a must. There are huge projection screens that look great and even play the main games sound as to if you are looking for a great sports environment you want the game to be played not music. Thank you Tom’s for this. The food is hearty and tastes good, the Pizza is delicious. The service I have experienced has been more than friendly and I always get my food quick and it is a wonderful place to just kick back, eat, and enjoy watching sports.

I like the food, but I mean the owner or owners wife cares more about decorating her house than the only customers in there for lunch. Also it’s the hardest place to get your check ever!!!

Pizza was pretty good when I tried it delivered a couple weeks ago. The place looks like a good place to watch games though it felt a little cramped. When my friends and I went to watch the USWNT we sat there for over 20 minutes without anyone coming up to us. I understand it was busy but we didn’t even get a «sorry, we’ll be right with you». And we were definitely passed by servers on multiple occasions. A few of my friends went to the bar and they were asked to sit back down. We sat there for another 5 – 10 minutes with no service before just just up and left.

Had their pizza before and it was ok if you have it delivered. Service inside Toms was horrible. Takin it was busy but we sat down for 30 minutes and not one word from a server. then I tried to go up to the bar to just get a drink and was rudely told to go back and sit down and wait at my table. waited for another 20 min or so and still nothing. not going back there ever again.

Great pizza, love the projector screens and TVs. Worst service in NoPo. I think the server was Kallen(?). She was horrible. She acted like we were bothering her when we asked for another beer. It took forever to get drinks and it wasn’t even busy. But our server was busy… talking to anyone other than the customers in her section. Took forever to get the bill and we were given a box covered in bleach to take home our extra pizza in!

When I lived in NoPo, I probably drove by this place eleventy billion times and didn’t give it one single thought. It’s definitely not a looker on the outside. So when some friends decided to meet here for NFL Sunday I was completely startled to see I recognized the place — just never went in. My bad. First off, NFL Sunday is ROCKIN’. Half the fun is the crowd, and while it sounds like it changes, each year there’s a fanbase that uses Tom’s as their meeting point. The cheering, booing and general good natured jabs create a good atmosphere. The menu is extensive — heavy on the pizza(duh) amongst your typical other bar foods like nachos, wings, etc. The calzone I got the first time was HUGE and delicious and I had to share it with a friend to take that bad boy down. The second time around we all went with the«be the bartender» special — 8 wings, a large pizza and a 120 ounce beer tube for… I believe under $ 40. I might be off by about $ 5 in one direction or the other. It’s a fantastic deal for a group. The wings surprised me — they were crispy, well seasoned and not slathered in a sauce to cover up any imperfections. The MVP(our pizza selection) had a pile of delicious toppings and a good crust for the base. TVs! There’s a ton of huge, gigantic screens all around the bar and smaller accompanying TVs as well. My biggest problem was settling on where to set my eyes(spoiler — everywhere). The standout was the service. It’s chaotic and busy — and our group definitely rotated in and out, each had our own tab — and the waitress was gracious, prompt and showed up just about when we needed a refill. It’s nice that even when they get crazy busy, you can get GOOD table service. Will be back!

This is truly a sports bar. Not often I need one find one or look for one. But Toby would not be satisfied with the game viewing options in and around St Johns so down Lombard we went in search of… The place is big, and for all the space and all the tables, still feels pretty cramped. It may simply be hat the tables move when lots of folks are watching a game, but it was hard to get by people even though there were still empty tables. The TVs are HUGE and plentiful. The clientele is varied in age, ethnicity, and background. I like this. The wait staff is friendly but there were only two waitresses working and it was not quick service. We ordered one of there Tom’s special burger w/onion rings($ 10.50) and a reuben($ 9) with a side salad. They charged me somehow extra(which I knew they would)… but it was sorta odd how they did it. Most waitresses would give you the better of the deal… The burger and rings were pretty good, the tots well… tots, And the reuben was better than I expected… which cant be too bad. The prices are ok. The drinks(I had a fancy cocktail) were yummy but not strong and not cheap. Lastly, nowhere to smoke. You stand among the cars in the lot. Yuck. But should I need a spot to watch my beloved Red Sox or Celtics in future. this be it!

I have never actually been inside this place. My experience with Tom’s consists of trying their pizzas during large group meetings where I once worked. The orders consisted of 20+ pizzas of different varieties. In my mind, their pizza is a lot like Round Table. I have probably sampled their entire pizza menu; not a bad one in the bunch. The food was always hot, no soggy crusts, no skimping on toppings, etc. They did a great job of avoiding all the things that can happen when you order mass quantities of food. I highly recommend Tom’s for catering group meetings.
