E-Side Thai is our new Friday night dinner tradition. The Pad Thai is the best I’ve ever had and I am addicted! The Pad Kee Mao is also amazing. The people working are friendly and the price is totally reasonable. I have had several mediocre experiences at other food carts around town, so this place is now my go-to for excellent food. Highly recommended.

This is my favorite place to get Pad Thai. It’s delicious and the price for the amount of food is excellent. Great customer service as well. These remembered me and my order for a while now. Definitely check this place out!

Solid meal. Good portion. Tasted fresh. Great price. I like this food pod location, has a covered area for the rainy season. The pad kee mow was heavy on fish sauce, I will try the place again.

Great little food cart community with picnic table seating. I rarely pass up the Thai food carts. This place was good. The name of my meal escapes me, but it was a fried rice dish with tofu, peppers, and onions. I did request it to be spicy and it wasn’t, but the flavor was good and I was satisfied. The service was quick and the ladies were helpful in answering my questions about their menu. Thanks!

Good food. I got the Pad Thai. Big portion, quick service. Authentic food cooked by a Thai woman. The free water was a plus.

It’s decent. I was craving Fried Krab Puffs and it was good enough to satisfied a craving. The Tofu Pad Thai fell flat for me, didn’t have good flavoring and I asked for hot but it wasn’t spicy at all. Normally, I just get the Thai Iced Tea – its alright.

The Pad Kee Mao is the thing to get. I get mine with beef. It’s super tasty. Extra points for being right next door to the Scout Beer Garden. PROTIP: Order your food here first. Then grab a draft beer at the cart next door and hang out in the Scout Beer Garden while your food cooks. When it’s ready, eat it with beer in the covered beer tent. Life is good!

They forgot my order and I waited 30 minutes! He gave me my money back but offered no apology. Even when they have my order they take forever. I won’t go back even though the food is good. I would’ve asked sooner but it was busy and I was trying to be patient– When people were getting their food before me though(they were after me in ordering), I checked what was up. He said 7 more minutes for an order that wasn’t mine, called me by someone else’s name and then looked totally lost. They’d lost the order– then he said it would be 7 minutes… I asked if they’d even started it and he said no. I looked sad and then he just asked if I wanted my money back. I said yes and he quickly pushed cash in my face and said nothing else. I don’t know if he was afraid of the head cook or just rude. It was rude either way– I went to a cart next to it and they took care of me pronto and were super sweet.

I stopped by last night to satisfy my curry craving. I ordered the chicken green curry. The curry itself wasn’t bad. It definitely had the spice level that I asked for. With that being said, the rice was barely cooked, and turned to powder when I bit down on it. Even leaving the rice soaking in the curry overnight then reheating didn’t soften it up. I’m convinced that it was actually a serving of small white pebbles, not rice.

We have been here few times and food was very tasteless, the people working here never smilled at us and never felt welcome at all. I will be more thsn happy to update this review if I see improvements but untill then I am sorry to say this but this is one of the worst thai carts I have ever been to.

I’m super pleased with my pad kee mao. I’ve been waiting for a Thai option at good food here and the E Side does not disappoint. $ 7 is the average price for a dish, and it’s a good amount of food. I got the crab puffs(krab puffs?) and those were decent.

The pad kee mao($ 7) was the best pad kee mao I’ve had at a food cart. This is the first Thai food cart I encountered where the food actually came out like I had ordered it from a restaurant with the difference being the wait time was significantly shorter. I’ve had some unfortunate experiences at Thai food carts around Portland where the pad kee mao was just prepped wrong or was lacking ingredients. Here, at E-Side Thai Cuisine, my entire dish was cooked to perfection from the wide rice noodles to the sauteed red & green bell peppers, onions, broccoli, & mushrooms to the fried tofu. The serving was generous enough to allow for two meals so instead of stuffing myself silly I saved the rest for the next day. The prices are a little higher than I’ve seen elsewhere but I rather pay that extra dollar or two for quality cooking. Check this cart out if you’re in the mood for Thai food or have never had Thai food. Waiting outside in the cold, rain, &/or wind won’t be so bad once the very nice owner hands over a hot plate of savory noodles & veggies to you. After that first bite is taken you’ll forget you were ever cold.
