They have a slick website that does not reflect it’s décor or food items. One bartender and no wait staff when I was there for a game 7 playoff game. Go there with low expectations.

I just love this place. Real deal – and totally *not* a dive bar – just pure Portland 1.0 goodness.

Fine establishment for all the beer drinking sports watchin weirdos in Portland. I was quite happy to find the Hockey game on the big screen with sound, Go Hawks! Also great beer list and the burgers looked big and juicy… Just like dat ass.

The place is average. Good for watching sports with plenty of tvs. Gamblers would like the poker tournaments. My problem here was the service. It was terrible. I’ll start by saying that this is probably more of a management issue than a server/bartender issue. On a Friday night with a Blazers/Warriors game and an Oregon PAC12 tournament game on, there was one server… One. My god it took forever to get attention, let alone a drink. And if you didn’t order another round when your first was dropped off, you were sure to be left on empty for 20+ minutes. The server was so busy that if you weren’t able to spit out an order to her in 2 seconds, she would leave and come back 15 minutes later. There really should have been more than one person tending to the entire place on a Friday night. In the future I would give this place another chance, but the first impression wasn’t good. The server sure worked her ass off though.

Went here recently to watch a Chargers game and was pleasantly surprised at my experience. There were a lot of screens to watch multiple games and the Chargers fan turn out was crazy, now I know my new go to! The game was blacked out at all other bars in the area. The bar also has a room to gamble on the opposite side of the bar. You have the option of ordering alcohol and food at the bar or there are servers walking throughout the bar to take your order. They serve food that is relatively pricey in my opinion for being a dive bar. But I decided to order a burger and fries and they were super good! They do also have a vending machine near the restrooms. Overall, this is a fun spot to watch games and drink with friends.

Awesome place to watch a HOCKEY game! Great atmosphere and great tap list that is also available online. They have a cool indoor fireplace to relax by. Troy the bartender is awesome and definitely took care of us and played the hockey game we wanted to watch. Thank you Troy for your awesome service. Ps they have Miller High Life on tap!

Attention all hockey fans!!! This place does it right! Personally I love the San Jose Sharks and there are not a whole lot of places in the greater Portland area that show Sharks games except Claudia’s! Not only is this place a NHL hub it has pool tables Texas hold’em, video poker and a juke box. You want cigarettes buy them from the vending machine next to the bathroom. This establishment is ever bit of a neighborhood bar and no one brings it better than Troy behind the bar. The next time you find yourself in the Hawthorn district of Portland please, please check out this place! Much love

I like divey, and the games are on, but… If you’re not a regular, you’ll know by the service. I always try to be optimistic and give the benefit of a doubt, but the servers here were really unprofessional and amateurish. There was some kind of packaging floating in my pint of beer and they didn’t seem to care. When I went for coffee at the self serve station they were out, and when I mentioned this they were snappy and rude. It was like pulling teeth trying to get my tab. I will never go back.

Great bar with friendly service and decent food. Tons of TVs so you can watch basically any game you want, though I think it’s officially a Charger bar, or at least used to be(Go Chargers!). The owner is very friendly and extremely accommodating, while the vibe of the bar is fun, engaging and competitive. It’s everything I could want in a sports pub. Oh, also, they have a pretty extensive beer list! Football fan? You should come here!

Love the bartenders, and as long as I get there early enough to reserve a TV, I get to watch hockey to my heart’s content. What more could you ask for?

I loved this bar great place to watch the games. The have awesome seats at the bar to get comfortable and the food is typical bar food but the cooks are awesome and everything is a fair price.

First timers and definitely will come back. Showed up on a football Sunday and although it was busy, had no trouble finding a table. Assortment of fans led to an eclectic atmosphere. Service was good and food was up to par. Lighting was superb(for a first date)

I like dive bars. I love sports bars. Heck, any decent bar is fine by me … BUT any bar, no matter it’s «category,» should have a basic level of presence. This place is plain disgusting, it needs a major overhaul. No, I am not saying it needs to lose character pieces and become something trendy place a la Division, but good God get new carpet, and clean the hell out of this place every night. It smells of stale kitchen oil and dust. Staff is reasonably attentive but ineffective. Did I mention some of the«regulars,» whom I assumed as my neighbors would be open to a nice hello, instead tried to egg on a fight? I’ll pass, there are way too many great bars in this town to ever walk into this place again.

Pretty horrendously slow service. We ordered an order of wings at the very start of the second period of a hockey game. After asking about them a number of times and being assured they’d put a rush on them, they were comp’ed…but arrived with less than 20 seconds left to go in the game we were watching so we handed them off to the table beside us and headed down to Cartopia. The staff were pleasant enough but terribly inattentive.

Claudia’s is a solid sports bar. Great chicken strips and veggie burger, nice staff, poker tables for those inclined, it’s also SF Giants friendly so there’s your five stars.

Nice and divey. They have some leather throne chairs at the bar too. Watch a game with some pals and have a good time. Very lax and casual

If you want to see your game, go here. They have so many tv’s that they can make it work. It might take a minute because the bartenders are always busy and serving drinks, but they do care about you getting to see your game. It’s not common for a sports bar in Portland, but this place seems to really embrace Fans of any team. The staff was pretty nice, but not fake. They made me feel like I was part of the place. It’s kind of weird, but it seems like if you’re tired of brew pubs and fake sports bars and are just looking for a place to hang out with sports fans and watch your game than this is your spot.
