I got to have the new release Coalition Brewing Dropping Science before they released it anywhere else – so that was exciting. The Artichoke Dip is the best I have had and the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich was obviously made with fresh chicken breast and had the perfect amount on spice to it. The atmosphere was relaxed and our server was attentive and helpful. I wish we lived closer.

Brussels sprouts, burger and grilled cheese are all amazing! The beer selection isn’t huge, but it’s definitely enough and you shouldn’t have a hard time finding something you like. The waitress/​bartender was super friendly and accommodating, too. I will definitely be back!

Perfect bar and restaurant for date night, meeting friends for brunch/​lunch/​dinner/​drinks, or just hanging out to watch the game. Great cocktail and wine list. Love the Brussels sprouts appetizer and red blend wine. Weekend brunch is a must! Delicious veggie hash… healthy, filling, and full of flavor. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere, the perfect neighborhood bar.

I’ve been here several times, and never been disappointed. It has a very welcoming feel, and a lot of love has been put into this place. Great beers on tap and the food is delicious. As soon as you walk in, the smells from the kitchen will make your mouth water. Staff is very friendly and they always have something fun going on.

My husband and I met my nephew and niece for brunch over the long weekend. We had a wonderful breakfast. The portions were perfect and the food was delicious. The new owner also took the time to chat with us. This is a nice addition to the neighborhood. Do yourself a favor and support this new restaurant.

Definitely a cute neighborly place to hang out with a couple friends. I went on a Monday night and they even were willing to put both Monday Night Football on one tv and the baseball game on another screen. The food was good and the service was extremely friendly. They treated us like we were regulars. The front doors open up for outdoor seating so I’m looking forward to going back in summer weather as well.

Really good food. ½ pound burgers are awesome. Had the BBQ burger, fantastic. Have tried the brussel sprouts in the past. Very good with bacon. They also have a great tap list, 12 on tap plus wine and liquor. Definitely worth a try if you are in the neighborhood. Food takes a little longer as everything is cooked to order.

We waited about 5 – 7 minutes after we took a seat before I had to go up to the bar to even be acknowledged. A sign might be helpful if that is what the establishment prefers when ordering…
The speciality cocktails are $ 10 so I am a little surprised when a whiskey and warm water was $ 10 too.
But not a bad spot to grab a drink with a variety of beers and cocktails to choose from.

Came for breakfast. The food was decent. Not great but not bad. Breakfast menu wasn’t very big. The portions were healthy sized though. And the prices were good! My Breakfast was way too spicy. And I love spice normally! It made it hard to finish. Waitress was sweet. My boyfriend had a Bloody Mary which was pretty good.
Seems like it would be a better place to go and grab drinks and snacks or a casual dinner at! It’s a cute little tiny restaurant with outside seating!

Been here a few times. Was biased against this place for some odd passive-​aggressive reason related to it being the former location of a favorite — Coalition — and an unfortunately named place — Tap That. But this place is great. Very friendly folks and outstanding chow. Burgers are a must. Happy to have ‘em in the neighborhood.

Been here several times since I moved into the neighborhood in January this year. The beer selection is great, food is good, and the new owner/​staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Love to try their new brunch menu.

Love this place. Been a few times since new ownership and have really enjoyed the consistently good food. Steak bites, brussel sprouts, burger and cilantro lime salad are all great! Had opportunity to try their almost released brunch menu and it was equally impressive. The ingredients are all fresh, including their great homemade hot sauce. Décor changes make the place much more inviting than its last incarnation, and the new cocktails and hard liquor make it a place I can enjoy (since I’m not a beer fan). Perk that kids also welcome — an easy choice when I don’t feel like cooking.

Ankeny Tap & Table is one of my favorite neighborhood eateries! High quality food! LOVE the brussel sprouts… order two if you plan on one you will want more! Steak salad is delishhhhhh. TERRIFIC and attentive friendly staff make this hot spot one to visit!

Visiting Portland and ended up at Ankeny Tap & Table. A great neighborhood bar/​restaurant. Great beer selections and friendly staff. Seating is limited, so get there early. We sat outside and really enjoyed it.

I love this place! We went to check it out because of all the great beers and ciders on tap and were also very impressed with the food. The food was high quality, fresh and perfectly seasoned. I highly recommend the steak bites and brussel sprouts.
We also loved the relaxed vibe and that they have the cool removable wall so it gave the place a nice open air feel.
We will definitely be back.
