To set the stage it was Sunday at around 11AM. Restaurant only half full. This location is very poorly managed. Though we were seated fairly quickly, it was in a haphazard manner. It went down hill from there. Ten minutes to have our order taken. No coffee was ever brought. Twenty minutes later three parties who were seated after us had their food and were eating. Still no coffee or a server in sight. Thirty minutes and still no coffee or food. We left. Our patients had been exceeded. Will not stop at this Biscuits location ever again. We’ve had nothing but excellent food and service at other Biscuits locations. Would recommend them in a heartbeat. This one is in serious need of a service makeover

I have been to this location for times now. the food is always been okay however the service is just terrible. drinks were never brought order was never taken. we flagged down other servers a total of 4X to get our order in. our potatoes were not cooked and were crunchy. we just don’t understand why this particular restaurant cannot get their act together. they also just changed their seats and they’re like sitting on particle board picnic table furniture. we observed a lot of the elderly guests having trouble getting out their seats and they were hurting my back by the time we left. I I would 100% encourage you to go to another Biscuits Café

We went there today and although they were busier than normal, we still got seated fairly quickly and the good was delicious!

Not impressed with the food. I had a scramble and it wasn’t tasty at all. The coffee wasn’t great. Really watered down. The service was great, servers are friendly and quick to refill the coffee. Just the quality of the food and coffee isn’t good at all. I’ve tried going back to see if it gets better but nope! Won’t be going back.

Takes for ever to get my food. When they gave us our water there were lemons in them which I didn’t ask for. If I had a choice I would’ve given this place 0 stars. I would rather eat breakfast at McDonald’s. They screwed up our order at least 5 times. It’s says on the menu fresh fruit and when I got my «fresh fruit» it’s was frozen. Terrible breakfast place

Terrible service. The waiter who was waiting the table next to us used our table for their dirty dishes and never said a word to us; no apology or anything. Never got coffee or water refills, we weren’t checked on once and one of our plates had a dirty, half-used container of jam on it. I have had many mediocre experiences at this particular Biscuits Café but this one by far was the worst. I will never go back here. I will make the drive to the Biscuit’s Café in Bethany or off of Baseline in Beaverton before I ever go to the one on Miller.

This was the fourth time I have been here, but it will be our last. This morning’s service was horrible. The wait was understandable, but when we were seated and our orders were taken, we waited and waited for our food. There were two tables(that we saw) seated after us that got their food and finished their meals before our food arrived. When we asked about our order our waitress responded with, «I don’t know, they won’t give me your food.» What kind of response is that? When we finally got our food, they said the kitchen is backed up. How do you blame the kitchen when other tables(seated after us) as I said earlier got their food. We were rarely checked on, I had to get our own silverware. Other patrons were vocal about the poor service. This is the first time ever I left without tipping. I even tip because I give the benefit of the doubt, they might have been having off day, etc. Not today. I am not saying do not go here, their food is ok. I just hope you do not have the same experience my family endured.

Terrible service, the sign on the door doesn’t excuse shitty service. We actually chose to leave before ordering, it was that bad. We won’t be back.

Went the for lunch. I tried the cheese burger and fries. I ordered it med rare and it came out well done. 10 minutes after I got it the server came over and I told him it’s not med rare. He did offer to have another cook bi would have if he came over sooner. The dish looked great when it came out but highly disappointed. The server was nice. I will stick with breakfast food here from now on.

Great quality food, big portions, tastes great, my #1 breakfast place. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Love it!

Corporate restaurant, the kitchen looked empty, thought we would be OK with biscuits and a cinnamon roll and coffee, the cinnamon roll was inedible, biscuits were ok. Good service, too bad the food isn’t better

The food was OK — but we were forced to leave due to the chemical fumes inside the restaurant. At first, it was just a slight burning in my throat and lungs, but when I started having dizziness, it was time to go. While I am sensitive to chemicals, I’m not«chemically sensitive»(even my bulletproof husband was affected). So when the server brought our food — after a 25 minute wait, despite us being the only customers in the restaurant — I immediately asked for to-go containers, and also whether they’d just done a deep-cleaning or ??(ie, I was trying to gauge whether this was a one-off, and we might return one day, since the SW location was so close to our home and we were looking for a decent breakfast place). Rather than answer my question, the server immediatly went on the defensive, using the old tried-and-true«No one has ever mentioned that(the chemical cloud) before.» Worse, we got home and sat down to eat — my bulletproof carnivore husband bit into his Corned Beef Hash and spit it out, saying it tasted like chemicals(ie, grill cleaner). Look, we are all for clean restaurants, believe me – but other restaurants manage to be super-clean without smelling like a chemical factory. Yikes.

Their cookies were huge, for only costing $ 1. Additionally, their club sandwich is big enough for two meals and were really tasty. I had to get my meal to go, so the toasted bread got a little soft, but that’s understandable. Their Yankee pot roast soup was amazing, perfectly seasoned, although I don’t think their were enough chunks of vegetables, still very good and reasonably priced.

I went to Biscuits a few weekends ago with friends around 11am for brunch on a Saturday. Busy, but not an excessively long wait. The reason for my low star is because I ordered the standard 2 eggs, hash browns, toast and bacon. I asked for my eggs to be poached. When they arrived my eggs were far too runny in the middle and I asked the waitress to take them back and to bring me scrambled instead. Not blaming her for the eggs, it was the kitchen’s fault. This is still not the reason though for my one star review. The reason for it is: SHEFORGOTMYEGGS! She never brought them back to me. Finally, when everyone was finished she said, «Oh, no one brought you your eggs? I was on cleaning duty and asked someone to get them for you.» Worst of all, she did not comp my meal, or even reduce the price. And I’m sorry, but if you’re my waitress, it is YOUR job to bring me my food, not someone else. I will never be going back to biscuits.

Have I been here before?: Yes, but not this location Would I go back?: Yes Pros: Quick seating, reasonable prices, good sized portions Cons: Today(or maybe this location) was not their best. We found our food to be a bit on the bland side. Notes: I’m assuming today was a fluke, and hopefully not an indication of what future visits will be like.

If you’re looking for a giant Denny’s type place, without the friendly service or ambiance of an old-school diner, this place is for you. Service was efficient — not friendly, just efficient. The food was OK, not great, not horrible, just OK. I want to go because I love hash browns,(almost as much as mac and cheese), and I was surprised how dry AND greasy they were. But, if I were at a backwoods diner, something like this I would expect. So why are there so many locations for a restaurant that serves mediocre food? I would bet it’s because they are family friendly, as I was practically tripped by a pile of kids running around like a playground. Interesting — but not really what I had in mind trying to go have breakfast.

Finally decided to give this place a try despite the three star average rating. Let’s just say there is a reason it’s only 3 stars. Service was great and the place was close to my house so really wanted to like it. It’s difficult to mess up breakfast but food overall was only okay. After spending $ 50 for breakfast on three kids and two adults, it should have tested better. Overall, most of the food was ok. Do not recommend the biscuits and gravy but this is coming from someone who used to live in the southeast US where it’s good and easy to find. I too like another reviewer ate around the gravy. My husband has been to another biscuits and claims it was much better.

I ordered the biscuits with gravy since I thought they would be a specialty at a place with«biscuits» in the name. My first bite of the biscuits with gravy was disappointing. The gravy needed salt and was cold. The biscuit tasted good but was bathed in a substance resembling vomit. The food was so cold I asked the server if she could stick it in the microwave. From her reaction it seemed like sending food back was the norm. I ate around the gravy and only ate the biscuit. The eggs I ordered were good. The ham that came with the breakfast was also cold. My sister ordered their club sandwich which she said was good. I am giving this place one star because not only was the meal I had disgusting but the service was equally bad. Maybe it’s only this location that has terrible food and service. My recommendation is if you must go here order a sandwich.

Coming from California to visit and I heard Oregon is known for having great food. I can honestly say this is by far the worst place I have ever had breakfast at. I can’t even say the service was good. Service was horrible. The staff was chatting be the kitchen while i was trying to get someone to switch my coffee out since it had a hair in it my food arrived cold and flavorless. They had to microwave it to just be like warm. Of traveling to Oregon ensure you DONOT come to this location. I am beyond disappointed and can’t wait to get back to California to have a decent meal.

Being from Portland there are a ton of amazing breakfast/brunch stops. However, if you are headed downtown there’s typically parking and huge lines to worry about. Low and behold Biscuits Café… literally just up the street from me. This location is not a large one and it’s not even decorated that great. The open kitchen concept is kind of neat and you can see all the cooks preparing your meal. They are only open until 2pm I believe so be sure to get there at a decent time. We were seated right away which was nice. They do have some outdoor seating for the summer months! Lots to choose from on the menu! I ordered the 2 eggs with red potatoes, turkey bacon, and pancakes. Certainly MORE than enough food. Pancakes were alright. Nothing overly special. Red potatoes were alright as well… some weren’t cooked enough. All in all for about $ 8 – 9 it’s not too bad, and it’s a lot of food! Coffee was decent. They did indeed have some good looking omelets. I would definitely come back here if I’m looking for some breakfast… especially if I don’t have a ton of time to wait around. You pay up front which is kind of odd but I’ve noticed this at many places in the area. No biggie. Plus as it’s in a strip mall area there’s plenty of parking. Win!
